16/09/2026: We thought Møntergade was okay overall, but not quite as strong as we expected. The plaice with remoulade was very good and probably the best dish for us. The tartelet was also delicious, although the allspice came through a little too strongly. The chanterelle toast was disappointing because the chanterelles themselves didn’t have much flavor, and the chicken salad was just okay. Service was the weakest part of the experience. We waited a long time for our final course, the tartelet, which made the meal feel unnecessarily drawn out. It was also quite expensive for what is essentially open-faced sandwiches and traditional lunch dishes, which made the overall value feel weaker. There were definitely some good dishes, but overall we preferred Unique Living in Sweden and found the flavors there more memorable.

09/09/2026: There were six of us for lunch on a Monday in September, and the table was ready for us when we arrived. Once we had been seated, it only took a moment before we were provided with a menu. And the friendly waitress presented us with the day's blackboard menu (see photo). I decided on a piece of plaice with spicy crayfish salad and a piece of sliced ​​veal tongue with cream-stewed chanterelles and sprats. Along with a glass of IPA and three cl. Rød Aalborg. The plaice was fried crispy in the breading and juicy in the meat, and the crayfish salad was spicy as promised. There was no doubt that this was fresh fish. The second piece of smørrebrød was also delicious, but the sliced ​​veal tongue did not quite do its job because it was drowned out by the wonderful taste of the chanterelles. The service was friendly and competent. All in all, the visit to Restaurant Møntergade was a really good experience.

09/08/2026: Our hunt was to eat south Indian delicacies and found this place. Ordered Cauliflower 65 and onion fritters for starters . Idli, Dosa and rainbow rice for mains . Everything was decent but sambar was average bit sour and lacking authentic taste. Could do better . Attached picture is one third of the portion of rainbow rice. Overall nice experience.

25/10/2026: This lunch restaurant, literally on the cliffs of the Kattegat ocean on the Zealand North Coast offers not only very-very well-made traditional Danish smørrebrød (open sandwiches) and very informal and attentive service from the more-than-friendly staff - it all comes in a location with the best view overlooking the Kattegat. All-in-all to die for, so recommended and "go, just go" ☺️

29/08/2026: My husband and I are visiting Denmark for the first time and were looking for somewhere affordable to eat. I found this place when looking for restaurants in Google maps and it was the best decision I made. I don't understand how you can give this place anything less than 5 stars. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were taken such good care of! The owner is such a kind and patient gentleman. We took like 10 minutes going through the menu because everything looked delicious and we didn't know what to order. We ended up going with what the owner suggested, which was the house special. He made it so quickly, I felt like I blinked and it was already done! The crust was beautifully crispy, the pizza was cooked perfectly, he added chili oil, garlic sauce and pesto for us, and the flavours just exploded in my mouth the moment I took a bite. When I tell you it was one of the best pizzas I've had, I'm not kidding!! I have paid much more for lower quality pizza in the past, and after coming here, I'm surprised the prices are so affordable. We ordered one small pizza and shared it for lunch AND dinner. I would definitely come back and can't recommend this place enough.

05/10/2026: I really love pasta – I eat pasta almost every day. I have also tried pasta in many restaurants in Denmark, but if I have to be completely honest, this is without a doubt the best pasta I have ever had! The taste was really amazing. I loved it from the first bite. I can't remember the last time I had pasta that tasted so good. I can still think about the taste! Big praise to the chef who created this amazing taste. You can really feel that it is made by a person who loves his job. If you love pasta, you should definitely try this place. I will definitely come back! 👍👍

27/10/2026: There was only skin on one of the pork roast slices in a large pork roast sandwich. The service was a bit disappointing, a bit rude. I could hear they ran out of pork roast, and it was before 12 noon.

20/09/2026: Fantastic experience, fun and exciting, fantastic food, very unconventional service. Not a place to go for a romantic evening with your girlfriend if you want peace and quiet. Very high noise level but that is also part of the concept. However, the amount of alcohol served is just over the top.

We tried the mango tacos with pulled jackfruit, and the combination of mango and pineapple was incredible—such a unique mix of flavors and unlike any tacos we’d had before. It was our first time trying something like this, and we were genuinely impressed. We also had the Mission District bowl, which was equally flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a fantastic experience with creative, delicious food that’s definitely worth a visit.
