15/04/2025: We had booked a table at 19:00. Got a very small table in the hallway by the kitchen and toilet. The staff "flied" around our ears. We pointed this out to the staff, we were given a slightly larger table but out to the same time area. The staff tried their best but their working conditions were impossible.
Too many guests have been squeezed into too small an area. It was also almost impossible to get in through the entrance door because of tables / guests at the borders. Too much noise and too hectic an experience. However, we were compensated with free wine. It pulls up a star

06/04/2025: Great spot for lunch. They had several varieties of Smorrebord (?spelling) to choose from! The serving sizes are generous. Menu was in Danish (staff spoke English - like basically everywhere in Denmark we visited) but nothing Google translate couldn't handle.
15/03/2025: Hyggeligt sted ved vandet.
To gode stykker smørrebrød med et tvist på lækkert rugbrød og hvedebrød. Rigtig god smag og vi blev mætte.
Prisen var rimelig 110kr for to.

Unfortunately, the last visit was not my best experience at Bistroteket. My Ribeye, which came with Bearnaise sauce, was served with a nice brown sauce, which was very nicely prepared at the table, but with the result that the Ribeye meat taste was lost and the Bearnaise sauce was no longer necessary. I'm just saying OB, because it was done with the best intentions. I would like to keep my meat and sights dose my Bearnaise sauce in the right amounts without also having another sauce on my steak at the same time.
Otherwise, the food for my 2 companions was absolutely fine!

Would like some more potato boats though!
But the chicken was super tender.

20/04/2025: Really a strange atmosphere when you enter, no one smiled at you, you were just stared down.
Don't know if they had forgotten to start my order, at least they only started when I came and said my order, which should be ready for collection there.
Paid extra for cheese rim, and the rim was nice, just no cheese in it, and then a tray of soft fries.

26/04/2025: Wow, wow, wow... shit that was good. There was a cozy atmosphere, the service was top notch, and the food... Don't even get me started! We had no idea what to order so we asked the waitress which turned out to be the best decision. We get 9 different dishes. The food comes quickly and at the same time. Taste experience seriously cannot be described in words, other than that my wife had tears of joy from the taste experience.
Huge recommendation from here, they hit the spot with the dishes.
28/03/2025: Ended up here because the place next door had closed. My lamb durum was boring and half-cold when it was served, and was definitely not big or tasty enough to cost 75 kr.
