19/04/2025: I've eaten there several times. I've never been disappointed. The pizza was good as always. We were lucky and were able to get a free table straight away. As always, we were greeted very friendly and served. The pizza was also ready quickly and served quickly. The only disadvantage is that there are problems when paying with the EC card. It is preferred with Mastercard. It didn't work either, we didn't have any cash. They gave us a piece of paper with the price and said we would just pay tomorrow. Luckily there was a cash machine just a corner away so we got money straight away and were able to pay the bill straight away. We can happily recommend this company. Very friendly and good pizza. Thanks for the nice evening brother.

06/07/2025: My wife and I had a really good night's stay at the inn. Service was friendly and very efficient, there was no waiting. The room was in top condition and completely clean. The food was unbeatable and homemade. The breakfast was also absolutely perfect, so we had nothing to complain about during our stay. We will definitely be back again.

15/07/2025: We were two couples who had booked a table via the website (easy). We were going to try the famous steak sandwich, and were not disappointed. Really tasty with incredibly tasty sauce. Very polite staff. Jesper came in when we had finished our food, and had a chat with the guests. We asked about the recipe for the sauce - and he said that it is in their next cookbook. Really nice - but impossible not to spill sauce on the tablecloth :)

28/05/2025: Vi fejrede vores 2-års bryllupsdag hos Domestic i går – og wow, hvor er vi glade for, at vi valgte netop dem. Som én der kommer fra en familie med rødder i madbranchen, havde jeg høje forventninger… og de blev indfriet og mere til. Fra vi trådte ind, til vi gik ud næsten 5 timer senere, blev vi mødt af et team, der var både hjertevarme og dybt passionerede – uanset om det var en kok eller tjener, vi talte med. Det føltes luksuriøst og afslappet på samme tid: man blev opvartet uden at lægge mærke til det – vand, vin, service – alt gled bare. Noget af det, der virkelig imponerede os, var deres dedikation til danske råvarer. Alt, der bliver serveret, er fra Danmark – hvilket i sig selv er fantastisk i en tid, hvor meget andet outsources. De arbejder bæredygtigt, tænker over miljøet, sylter, genbruger og bevarer smage, så intet går til spilde. Maden var generelt helt i top – en enkelt ret ramte ikke helt vores smag, men resten lå mellem 4 og 5 stjerner hele vejen. Smukt, gennemtænkt og velsmagende. Alt i alt? Domestic er en restaurant med sjæl, kvalitet og kærlighed til faget. Vi gik derfra både rørte, mætte og glade. 100 % anbefalelsesværdigt – og alle pengene værd. ✨👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

04/07/2025: I came by this place on a canoe trip and bought some food and it was quite frankly bland and for some reason there was stuff (I think (like really really old) rice) View was great but food was rather bland and overpriced

14/07/2025: We've been around Djursland a bit, and Djursland is a lovely place if you want crepes - but if you fancy carbonara without cream, or a pizza that isn't a meat platter on a French bread base, there aren't many places to go. There aren't many Italian dishes on the menu - but the other dishes, the salads, for example, clearly show care, and ingredients that have been selected for an overall taste impression. The staff is young, but they take ownership and responsibility, and welcome you with a smile. We came when the heat was at its worst, and chose to sit outside, for the fresh air, but the location up the main street detracts from the coziness. The seats inside looked lovely, but we didn't try them.

04/07/2025: Today we order salmon bowl and chicken pad Thai. 1) the order came 45muts late . 2) the pad Thai came dry and without any flavor . 3) salmon bowl came good like always . - Normally we like the food, but in this last orders we get some of the food without havin any flavor . and that is sad becouse we are a regular costumers.

The service is top notch, the atmosphere is relaxed and the surroundings are beautiful – modern and cozy rooms where you want to stay. It is also a bit more expensive than many other sushi restaurants – but the quality justifies the price.

07/07/2025: AWESOME COCKTAILS SUPER SERVICE My wife and I have come here several times. From when they first opened up until today - and we will continue to return. The cocktails they make always surprise you - always something astonishing new. And they ALWAYS taste really good. Last time we were here was in JUN 2025 with friends and family. And we got a chance to sample… a lot. Definitely worth while a visit.

17/06/2025: Food = drink, In this review. We had 4 different drinks, and unfortunately they were not worth the money. They were beautifully presented and served well. But unfortunately they just didn't taste quite as good as we had hoped.

15/07/2025: Delicious butter-fried burgers, which some at the table thought were too much butter. Generally good burgers. The fries were very lacking in salt! And I thought there was thyme spice on the fries since you could opt out of this when ordering. However, I could neither taste nor see salt or spice on the fries we had ordered.

28/06/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience. Stopped by by chance, and luckily they had one table free. The service was fantastic - I have never experienced such attentive, friendly, and pleasant service at any other restaurant in Denmark. The food was quick, well-prepared, and freshly made. All in all, a fantastic experience, and we will be back, and definitely recommend it to others.

27/06/2025: Everything has been completely implemented, I had proposed to my girlfriend and asked for some candles on the table, not only did we get candles but flowers and rose petals on the table, a tour of the entire restaurant. The food was top class, but not least the staff! Implemented service, such nice people and so nice that you have made something out of a special evening for us. THANK YOU is an understatement
