20/03/2025: We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The restaurant is small, cozy, and has a chic retro vibe. The service was excellent. The staff member taking our order was energetic, knowledgeable about what was on our plate and in our glass, and very attentive. When we received the Danish menu, I was trying to figure it out with the help of my boyfriend and his family (they are danish). He took noticed and kindly offered me an English menu. It was a thoughtful gesture, and it is was nice to see how much I had understood by cross referencing with the english version. He also made sure we never had to ask for refills, always noticing when we were out of something. Very lovely evening, I highly recommend the place.

14/05/2025: Super good experience at Hjarbæk kro, I think the food was really good, it has a great location, the service was really good, everything was very tasty, and there was also room for a short walk down to the water and the harbor, and then come back and have coffee afterwards. For that reason, I would definitely recommend coming to Hjarbæk kro and experiencing the cozy inn rooms and the good atmosphere you find here. If so, then the prices are also really good here, so a huge plus from here. Regards Timm Mangor

26/04/2025: A really nice place which is definitely worth a visit. Lovely bright premises. Competent and friendly staff. Fantastic view. Really delicious food, but the sauce didn't taste much. We will definitely come again.

15/04/2025: I et beboelsesområde i Knebel finder man minsandten denne italienske/sicilianske restaurant. Flinke mennesker, hurtig service. Træborde uden duge - men god stemning. Meget moderate priser (fx koster et stort glas husets vin 65 kr.). Vi fik bruschette til forrett og to pastaretter som hovedretter. Velsmagende det hele - den ene pastaret (Tortelli agli asparga) var med lidt rigeligt ost. Desserter med pistacier var meget lækker.

It's so nice too be able to talk with the owner of the restaurant and feel their passion for people, food and being present. Sometimes good ratings are actually a sign of good work being done, and yes, they do deserve a good rating. Thank you Manzana Tapas Bar for a good evening.
