16/07/2025: Lovely place! There is a sandbox, climbing tree, and swing for the kids.
Coffee and sandwiches were right in the cupboard. Really good taste and just what you need! The garden invites you to linger for a long time and have a few cups :)
14/07/2025: Cozy place with friendly staff, good coffee, bread, butter and cheese. Well-stocked play corner for the children, so the coffee can be enjoyed in peace and quiet when the little ones have finished eating.

18/06/2025: We were there four times today. The staff were very friendly, and the candles you can make yourself are simply brilliant. Everything is very well-kept.

Small café with delicious coffee specialties and cakes. The prices in the shop are a bit high for my taste.
But that's always a matter of opinion.

23/06/2025: We zijn hier tijdens onze vakantie 2 avonden gaan eten met ons gezin. Personeel is vriendelijk, spreken bijna allemaal Engels en het eten is heerlijk. In de zon op het terras geweldige pizza gegeten. Nagerecht ijs, pannacotta en tiramisu. Het was zo lekker dat we een volgende avond nog een keer zijn teruggegaan! De pizza's staan in onze persoonlijke top 3 van beste pizza's ooit gegeten!

04/06/2025: Vi har efterhånden været på restauranten en del gange. Det er altid velsmagende og flot anrettet. Tjenerne er altid meget imødekommende og venlige. Og ikke at forglemme de smukke omgivelser. De bedste anbefalinger herfra.
14/05/2025: Super good experience at Hjarbæk kro, I think the food was really good, it has a great location, the service was really good, everything was very tasty, and there was also room for a short walk down to the water and the harbor, and then come back and have coffee afterwards. For that reason, I would definitely recommend coming to Hjarbæk kro and experiencing the cozy inn rooms and the good atmosphere you find here.
If so, then the prices are also really good here, so a huge plus from here.

26/06/2025: You feel really welcome when you walk in. Really good waiters who take care of you and are attentive to your needs. Good Danish food that tastes really nice and the best place in Aarhus to get fried pork. It's a small place and only a few seats outside, so it's a good idea to book a table. Highly recommended
