Smilende sødt og hjælpsomt personale, så her kører vi gerne fra Frederikshavn igen for at smage dette kongemåltid… og der er rigeligt af det .. 5 stjerner herfra

11/05/2024: Bad service and tasteless food A really cozy restaurant, lovely surroundings and atmosphere. However, we think the food was rather tasteless (I had to salt mine several times) and then there was a female waiter who was generally rude to us. She explained the food so quickly that you couldn't hear what she was saying. You also had to look for a smile for a long time. Hope the waiters are on good terms and that wasn't why she was like that towards us? When we have just taken the last spoonful of ice cream she comes over and takes our plates while saying “Are you ready to pay? Then I can cover for the next ones.” in a completely humorless and rude/rude way. We know very well that we are just another number in the row and that there are others who have to have our table. But we had been sitting at it for 2 hours (had ordered 2.5 hours). We really got the feeling that we were being rushed, that we just had to slide and that she didn't really care if we had a good experience overall. I think that's too bad when, after all, it's the price range we're in. Then you also pay for the experience. I would much rather recommend Keyser or Hanzo in Aarhus if you have to pay that price anyway.

08/05/2024: Nice experience eating here. Good Italian-inspired food, but the dessert does not get points from here. Really good experience all in all.

26/03/2024: Bought a heavenly good take away smørrebrød for two, ordered a few hours before. Delicious with good ingredients and accessories, incredibly good bread (many people can't find it) and very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended! Good experience in every way.

29/03/2024: Good enough a boring steak! 🙁 As an old Viborg boy, it was nostalgic with a trip to "Ly", which I haven't visited for years. But now the chance presented itself, when I was on a rare visit to my old hometown. The menu card concentrates on steaks. Unfortunately, there was no Ribeye, but I chose the Omaha steak that was recommended on the menu. I asked for it to be cooked medium-rare. The steak was neither stringy, tough nor completely inedible. But there wasn't much positive to say either. It was dead boring. First, it was cooked to medium rather than medium-rare. Second, it didn't really taste like anything (good). Third, it didn't have a frying crust but rather a blackened grill surface, and the browned flavor drowned out any flavor of beef. The roast potatoes were equally charred and no enjoyment either. I doubt the Bernaise sauce was homemade as advertised. In any case, it was too sour and thin for my taste. All in all a disappointment. If I come again it will have to be a burger or a stew, which probably won't disappoint to the same degree... PS: Can't help but wonder if the many 5 star reviews can really be genuine. 🤔 Far from my experience.

04/03/2024: Har tidligere besøgt med tilfredshed. Men denne aften kæmpe skuffelse. 4 ud af 7 personer måtte lade ged kød med sener gå.ud, da det var uspiselig. Har ikke lyst til at gentage et besøg en anden gang.

26/03/2024: Fantastic service and great food. Had my Indian colleague with me and of course he had to have Danish food. We had tartlets with chicken in asparagus, roast pork with parsley sauce and a dark beer and schnapps, and finally old-fashioned omelette.

12/03/2024: Was in Europe for the first time today. Lovely delicious food, and particularly generous portions. And what a friendly service you get there! Now I have left there fully satisfied, and with a belt I had to loosen a few holes, but it also warms nicely in the cold. 5 stars :)
