09/07/2026: A really cozy place with delicious food. There's something for everyone, from burger lovers to ice cream enthusiasts. We stumbled upon it unexpectedly – ​​highly recommended!

07/07/2026: We had a bad weather day and had a snack here, namely a (very good) Danish hot dog, a French hot dog, and excellent strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cake... It was very nice and we were ready for the return trip (by bike).

09/07/2026: First trip to Aarhus and went twice. Food was top notch very friendly staff great wine. Recommended the pepper steak, chicken and wienerschnitzel

23/04/2026: Pizza was ten out of ten. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Best pizza I’ve ever had in Aarhus. A cozy atmosphere with friendly and professional staff. Service is excellent as well. The vibe is just lovely. I would definitely recommend it.

15/05/2026: Great cozy vibe! Very local and Danish. Families and friends playing board games at their tables while they eat. Excellent draft beer. I had the shrimp cocktail as a starter and the Veal Wienerschnitzel as a main. It’s definitely the vibe in Horsens! I’ll be back.

The food was absolutely incredible every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening special was the exceptional service from Sophia and her colleague. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel celebrated. As a lovely surprise, they placed a Danish flag on our table to mark our wedding day. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us and made the evening even more memorable. We enjoyed every single dish, every moment, and felt truly welcomed throughout the entire experience. Thank you for helping make such an important day in our lives even more special. We would gladly return and highly recommend Basso to anyone visiting Aarhus

12/07/2026: Flew all the way from Malaysia, and walked all the way here as this was recommended by my local colleague as a MUST TRY, disappointed because I only ate one 🥲 This is so good, it’s buttery, warm, soft and fragrant, it’s perfect with a cup of coffee. ❤️🙏 Now that Im back to Malaysia, I truly miss this.
