31/03/2025: Ordered take away but waited 1 hour for my order, when it finally arrived my whole order was not there and I was missing several things in my order. Their wasabi is not freshly made from real wasabi plant, it is powdered. The wasabi and ginger do not come in separate containers but in the tray with sushi, although we wanted it separately due to allergies to ginger. We will not order from here again.

17/09/2024: This will probably be one of the last reviews for the Kaffekoppen. Food and service at the top far out on the motorway in an old-fashioned cafeteria I had dinner at mahge years ago.

03/05/2024: I came in a few weeks ago after ordering on the app 15-20 minutes before closing but I never received a confirmation. I walked into the store and was immediately told by the worker that she’s not serving anymore. I’m not sure why you have a closing time if you close before that window. I told her that I made an order on the app about 10 minutes ago. She hadn’t even seen my order and just told me “oh I can’t make it anymore as I shut everything down already”. No apology for not seeing my order in time. Then she offered to make a few other things from their menu which I politely declined. She continued but I still politely declined and told her that I didn’t want anything other than what I ordered but it’s fine that she can’t make it. Then she asks me to come the next day to get my juice… I don’t live in Vejle so I told her I can’t. I kept waiting for her to offer me my money back but It felt as if I had to come up with a solution for a mistake she had made. I then told her I could come back in a few days when I’m in Vejle again. Then she told me that it had to be between 8-12 while she’s working, which is also while I’m working. So I had to get someone to cover for me so I could go get a juice that I didn’t even feel like having anymore. No compensation for wasting my time, no free stuff to make up for her mistake. No nothing. Not even a single apology. Only a “good that you could come today” when I went to pick it up a few days later. I was also there a few days ago when she offered other customers in front of me to take some extra things with them as she’s closing soon and will have to throw them out. Again I got nothing. Safe to say I’m not going back to the establishment in Vejle.

22/05/2024: This place looks good, staff were friendly, food was good in general. Even when we informed that we found hair on one of our dessert, they quick to remove replaced it with a new set. Sadly, it ended there. Unsure if the payment machine used was faulty or just our luck, it showed different results- pending on our side and failed on theirs. Upon checking the receipt that showed failed, card number do not tally. But staff (young lady glasses) was not very pleasant with her words. Had observed earlier that she seemed unhappy (or that could be her default expression) when she served us. She challenged when we showed transaction as pending on our side, and even demanded for our physical card as proof that the card numbers are in fact different. It was only after seeing our card that she toned down a bit but still insisted that we make payment despite us saying it’s pending. After few minutes, our acc showed rejected and when we wanted to make payment, she informed that her paywave system has issues and request for another payment mode, which we obliged. All in all, the food was worth returning, but with the kind of service we got, it’s a definite NO.
