06/06/2024: I remember my only visit to iconic City Kebab like it was yesterday, but it wasn't at all! It's actually exactly 26 years ago and I know that because it was the day HBO launched their ground-breaking series about the cool women Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha and their adventures in THE BIG APPLE (as they call New York). I entered City Kebab and knew immediately that I wanted to get a real one on the experience, as they say. It was a very special atmosphere of food joy and raw fun, as they say. The tiles on the floor were oddly symmetrical and on their music system fabulous Chandeliers ran with SIA. And yes, the attentive reader probably thinks: "IT WASN'T OUT YET AT THE TIME YOU LIAR PIG!!!!" And I can't run away from that, as nan says. But the point is that inside City Kebab there is no such thing as time. That dimension is simply replaced with the super frothy KaFlòinx and their infamous red sauce and the smooshy German bread, all of which bring to mind the essence of being a creature made of flesh and blood, as they say.

29/08/2023: The brownie was very good, the abrico was great, the service was fast, I recommend the restaurant 10/10, it's really great

03/12/2023: Konklussion: Alt for dyrt. Ikke gourmetmad og et værelse så småt at 2 personer hele tiden går i vejen for hinanden. Skal ikke gentages. Fra den 29. til den 30. november 2023 var vi på et weekendophold plus på Gl. Avernæs, Sinatur Hotel & Konference i det sydfynske. Middagen var egentlig ok, men slet ikke gourmet. Vinpriserne var overpriced, og fisken til forret så tynd, at den kun bestod af skin og ben. En katastrofe. Morgenmad var slet ikke, hvad vi kunne ønske. Da vi kom 08:30 var levepostej med bacon næsten spist. Meget lidt pålæg, og juice var udelukkende æblejuice. Udvalget var lille, og kl. 09:00 begyndte personalet at støje ved at flytte borde sammen. Vi gik så 10 minutter senere fra restauranten, da vi fornemmede, at det var det, man ønskede. Her kommer vi ikke igen.
