06/05/2025: Had to drive the daughter to work so there was just time for a beer. Small but nicely varied selection and also some beers you don't see in many places. Cozy and slightly special decor with a good atmosphere. Had a good chat with the owner and it's definitely not the last time I stop by.

06/05/2025: Vi var her første gang i 2024 til aftensmåltid . Dette var en meget positiv oplevelse, som vi var enige om skulle gentages. Det var dog noget anderledes end første gang. Vi bestilte bl.a. blåmuslinger, men ca en tredjedel havde ikke åbnet sig og desuden var de allesammen små. Jeg hidkaldte kokken som sagde: de lullede skal I ikke spise!!!!! Det blev til en meget lille middag den aften og vi synes ikke vi fik valuta for pengene. Ærgerligt!

27/06/2025: I am writing to you with great concern regarding an unacceptable and humiliating experience I had in your store at Bilka Ørbækvej – Odense today As a loyal customer for several years, I am deeply shocked by the treatment I received from a young female employee at the checkout. Sequence of events: When I placed two long-sleeved blouses on the conveyor belt: 1. The employee did not say a word – no greeting, no questions about the “hangers”, as is customary. 2. She threw the clothes with the hangers on the conveyor belt without asking and without eye contact. 3. She handled my items with coldness and expressionlessness and placed them directly on the dirty conveyor belt – as if I were invisible. Comparison with the next customer (ethnic Danish woman): Immediately after me: • The employee smiled and asked kindly: “Would you like to keep the hangers?” • A warm conversation ensued with eye contact. • The dresses were delivered by hand with care and respect. My personal experience: This silent and humiliating treatment – ​​combined with my appearance as a hijab-wearer and non-European – left me with a strong feeling of discrimination and lack of value. When I later brought my experience to the attention of a customer service representative, it was dismissed with phrases such as: “She’s new” and “It wasn’t on purpose”. Violations of procedures and ethics: 1. Failure to comply with your service standards – no dialogue, no respect for the customer’s choice (the hanger issue). 2. Physical discrimination – my items thrown on a dirty conveyor belt, versus being handed over by hand. 3. An intimidating atmosphere – silence combined with body language created an uncomfortable and potentially exclusionary atmosphere towards non-ethnic Danish customers. I kindly urge management to review the surveillance footage from that time, especially to assess the lack of verbal and nonverbal communication – as well as compare the treatment of me and the customer after me. My suggestions: • Mandatory training in basic customer service (greetings, eye contact). • Introduction to awareness work on

26/06/2025: Because of the large selection Bilka has, I can only find certain foods here. If you ask one of the staff, you will receive the best possible help. In addition, the store is always tidy - both inside and out.

19/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding here and it was simply perfect. Tobias and his team made our dream come true! It was exactly how we imagined it. The service was incredibly kind and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for events and particularly weddings.
