06/08/2025: Café set in a former chicken coop. That says it all! I swung by on my bike one summer day and had a nice chat with the man behind the counter, who was wearing a Slayer T-shirt (!). A vintage electric shovel stands in a corner of the café, King Frederik 9 and Queen Ingrid look down paternally from the shelves on the wall along with all the books. This is a completely unique time capsule with its own pulse, in Sydlangeland of all places. From here a recommendation. The coffee (black, O.K.) cost 35, a blackcurrant muffin ditto (Good).

06/08/2025: A wonderful, somewhat magical place. A wonderful owner who tells wonderful stories! Definitely worth a visit! You should like dogs and cats 😉 And you shouldn't mind a cobweb or two.

17/04/2025: My friend and I had a super nice ending after a trip to the cinema at the Old Danish Pub. We had a draft beer and a drink and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere and 100% agree that this will not be the last time we end up here

15/08/2025: I ordered their carbonara and it was so delicious! It is priced on the higher end, but it was also a huge portion, so you really get your money's worth 👌 The service was also top notch! I couldn't eat it all, so they were so nice to give me a takeaway box for the rest. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Svendborg ☺️

29/07/2025: A great experience at this Italian restaurant. Yes, we were hungry after a full day of cycling, but the food was good and fresh. Recommended if you don't want a burger and fries for once!

21/07/2025: Habíamos viajado de Noruega a Dinamarca ese día con dos niños y un bebé (lunes 14 . 07 ) Los niños tenían hambre por la noche, así que pensamos que íbamos a comer aquí. Nos dijeron que la cocina cerraría en 15 minutos y que por lo tanto no era posible. Trabajé en la industria de restaurantes durante 20 años, y he sido gerente de restaurantes, conozco este juego. NUNCA he negado comida a la gente antes de que la cocina realmente cierre. Luego aceptan pedidos hasta que la cocina esté realmente cerrada, y preferiblemente después de eso si los turistas vienen con niños hambrientos que no conocen el horario de apertura. Hubiera pensado que estos lugares estaban interesados en ganar dinero cuando este lugar es tan tranquilo como un pueblo fantasma. Bueno, a nosotros y a los niños nos sirvieron comida de Rema 1000, probablemente igual de bien.

15/08/2025: We went here in the evening and sat outside. You order and pay at the counter, and then everything is delivered to your table. You can then round off the day with spaghetti carbonara, tuna salad, and fries with ketchup.

14/08/2025: No Service at all! We come in, two people, and have to find a table ourselves. Fair enough. We wait and find the menu ourselves. Some time passes and no one comes out to us. We approach one of the waiters and say we would like to order. She comes out past the table, takes some things off the table while apologizing and disappears again. Then another waiter walks back and forth three times next to us and takes the table off behind us. When she leaves for the last time with the last things she asks if we are ready to order, and we are. She answers, for a moment but never gets used to it. Since we have been sitting there for 20-30 minutes without being served we leave. It wasn't terribly busy, there were guests but not so busy that we have to wait like that. Good thing we went over to the neighbor (Mr. Dax) who had a full house and was able to serve us 3 seconds after we entered the door.

25/08/2025: Quite easy access from the highway. Plenty of pumps, and there is a store with coffee and other products.

24/08/2025: Nice gas station, but bought a hot dog cart that wasn't baked inside. Doesn't taste good when half of it is uncooked dough. You can do better.

18/07/2025: Ate here once, 1 bowl of pho, 1 bowl of grilled pork vermicelli and 1 loaf of bread. Not good, not bad, but if I have the chance, I will come back to support Vietnamese food. Here you can eat outside, airy and cool. But inside, it is bustling and noisy

08/06/2025: I stopped by Esbjerg Streetfood on 5/6 and chose Vietnamese cuisine 🍜 I was greeted by a young man with brown, curly hair, who provided a service that you don't see very often these days 👍 I told him that I have a gluten allergy, and he took it very seriously. He went through the menu with me, calmly answered my questions and recommended the pho soup 🥣 I felt safe from start to finish - and that means a lot when you have to be careful with what you eat. The pho soup was hot, flavorful and felt homemade in a good way. All in all, the best Asian cuisine I've tried 🇻🇳I'll definitely be back.
