27/08/2025: Delicious pizza for little money!

21/08/2025: Well, expectations were high based on other reviews. But it wasn't that great. My kebab mix was fries and kebab with a dressing of some kind, no green what-so-ever. My wife's pasta bolognese was covered in cheese topping and gratinated. So an alternative preparation of pasta bolognese... The staff started by offering us a German menu. All in all, no, nothing to write home about.

09/02/2026: coming here was so special to me, I was on a long bike ride & just decided to pass by for a coffee on my way - little did I know, that this small decision was one of the most memorable parts of my journey, I had a beautiful encounter with Henrik & some lovely talks :)

01/10/2025: In the middle of nowhere is this quaint café with a very friendly owner who makes delicious coffee. Since we were here off-season, unfortunately, there was no cake, but we'll try that on our next visit.

02/12/2025: Several handicap parking spaces right outside the door as well as drive-in hatches and plenty of regular parking spaces, so there are no parking problems like at most bakeries. The fact that it is Denmark's best bread just makes it better.

12/09/2025: Having only arrived in Haderslev about an hour after 4 hours of travelling we found CAFE MAD. As seems the norm with Danes in the day & a half we've been here the staff were pleasant, polite & welcoming. We had their version of good old fish & chips - it was gorgeous & plentiful, so much so that my partner had to leave some. We would recommend anyone visiting Haderslev to "hunt down" CAFE MAD - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. Darren & Dawn from the UK.

08/02/2026: Super good food, was there for brunch, however it could be a wish that there were signs for each item, now that it was so well made. We could definitely come back there again

04/12/2025: Really good food and service. Asked for a dry white wine that matched the menu and admittedly, I didn't ask the price. That's why I still think it's good to mention that it's a wine for 530,- that's served. But, as I said, otherwise everything was perfect.

28/05/2025: Vi havde en helt fantastisk oplevelse på Restaurant Lyst i Vejle! Smagsoplevelsen var intet mindre end sublim, og de mange små amuse-bouches var en sand fryd for både øjne og smagsløg. Hver bid var gennemtænkt og spændende, og det var en fornøjelse at udforske Lyts's kreativitet. Deres vinkort er en skattekiste i sig selv, fyldt med gode vine til meget rimelige priser – en sjældenhed for en restaurant af denne kaliber. Det gav os mulighed for at finde et par perfekte vine, hvilket kun løftede oplevelsen yderligere. Vi har besøgt flere Michelin-stjernede restauranter, men dette var uden tvivl en af de bedste 1-stjernede oplevelser, vi har haft. Service var uovertruffen, med et opmærksomt og passioneret personale, der gjorde aftenen helt speciel. Hvis vi skal nævne en lille ting, var den sidste tur ud for rense "smagsløgsrenser" lidt unødvendig. Frem og ilbage. Alt i alt var det dog en vidunderlig oplevelse, som vi varmt kan anbefale. Restaurant Lyst er en mad perle, der kombinerer kreativitet, smag og enestående service til perfektion. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake.

29/09/2025: Good café with absolutely reasonable prices. Sale of various things. Update summer 2024... Brunch has been discontinued, but the breakfast plate is absolutely delicious too. Their panini is also extremely tasty. Once again we had a delicious brunch.

08/08/2025: The coffee is too expensive 30 kr for a small cup. But a lovely shop with a good atmosphere and they make sure that the dogs that are in the café are served cold water. AND there is a plastic bucket for leftover food that you can put down for the dogs. Nice things for sale in the shop... nice to sit here and have grandma on guard.

20/11/2025: I just manage to get through the door and am greeted by a greeting: My colleague will be here in a moment 👍 I ordered a high-layered open-faced sandwich for only 35,- each. I have to wait a bit, as it is freshly spread, especially nice with a freshly fried fish fillet. To think that customer service still exists
