04/01/2025: Was for New Year's Eve. The food was 100% top notch. However, service was not as expected. At 14.00 we were assigned a coffee table which was predetermined. The location was quite fine, far away from the music speakers and close to the screen where the king would later "perform" We were told that we were to eat at the same table for the evening at 18.00. Then we wouldn't have to think about it anymore. Later...when we arrived in the evening a little before 18.00...suddenly there are others sitting at our table...the table sign with our number on it had been replaced...just remember that we have an elderly man there has had throat surgery and is therefore largely unable to speak, so we are therefore surprised that they have simply moved us down to the 2 large speakers at the other end of the room.. Several requests to the waiters do nothing at all...we can't even get an apology...we can sit and look at each other all evening as we can't talk very much together. They have no control over beer / soda orders, nor could we get freshly baked bread and butter for the cheese...the other tables had to do without.. A rather sad expectant evening was somewhat ruined. As we were close to midnight...or a few minutes before, we had to reach out to the DJ that night and at the last minute turn off his music so we could attend the midnight bells. Some obviously a little higher on the ranking obviously wanted our table instead of their own....we later found out....so we peasant knolls just had to move... A bit of a practice experience...and it wasn't cheap....

22/02/2025: Our first visit to Doctor Herman in Fredericia. It was a bit difficult to find the door, as the place also functions as a coffee shop during the day, but we managed! Cozy atmosphere and a friendly welcome at the entrance. We were the first guests – apparently it's a place people mainly visit after 10pm. 22 – but we took the chance as the only ones. The interior is relaxed, but could easily take a few octaves up or get a little update if the ambition is to be more than a provincial wine and cocktail bar. The music was a good mix, the staff young and committed with a clear passion for the place - the entrepreneurial dream is blooming with them. The wine list was clear. We chose two glasses of French Viognier, which was served well-tempered and with a bit of knowledge from the staff. Beautiful wine with apricot notes. After that, we ordered a tapas board and a couple of warm dishes. A surprisingly fine selection, where everything was well-tempered and offered many good elements: two types of cheese, stuffed peppers, three types of charcuterie, pestos, pickled onions and warm bread with a good crust. The hearty dishes consisted of asparagus with air-dried ham and sumptuous bruschettas – really delicious food. The service was attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. However, the salted butter could have been replaced with a good olive oil, which would have complimented the antipasti-inspired tapas board better. A selection of olives – preferably with calamari olives for their aromatic and salty flavor – would also have been a welcome addition. All in all a lovely experience. We will come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

05/10/2024: Favorite pizza makes super good food. Whether you want pasta, kebabs, pizza or whatever you fancy, this is the place to get it. If you want to eat here, you can easily. With an almost nostalgic feel, of a real Pizzeria. The reason for "only" 4 stars is that their carbonara is not made right. Admittedly, it is difficult to make correctly, but if you have it on the menu, it must be made properly. If you find scrambled or fried eggs in your carbonara, you have skipped a very important step. That being said, their crusts are crispy, the pizza terrific and the service, always a pleasure.

28/09/2024: We sat and ate our food in the glass section, partly because it is brighter and partly because there was a lot of smell of food inside the restaurant, which is also rather dark. But the food and service top notch.

26/12/2024: It is always a pleasure to go to Vejle Center Hotel. Extremely good service across the board. The reception can handle everything, and always provides perfect service. The rooms are nice and clean, and nothing is missing. The location is perfect, whether you want to go to the center or a trip out into nature, everything is right outside the door. Parking is also easy right next to the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel. And we will definitely come again.

14/09/2024: Just returned from an overnight stay and dining at Barløseborg golf club, where we enjoyed the beautiful and cozy rooms. This is the second year we have been there and we would love to come again. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming restaurateur, and the food and service were top notch
