08/04/2025: If you want to have a delicious dinner and love sushi, you should definitely come here. Very tasty dishes and sushi, I made sure of this. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and amazingly fast service, or I was lucky😅. I give five stars because this establishment deserves it😊.

03/04/2025: Alt var decideret skidt – faktisk så slemt, at selv tangen havde opgivet og gjort sig umulig at tygge igennem. Service? Det koncept kendte de ikke til. Personalet virkede mere irriterede over, at vi kom og forstyrrede deres dårlige humør end glade for at få kunder i butikken. Faktisk fik hver ny gæst et stort, teatralsk øjenrul efterfulgt af et suk, der nærmest kunne overdøve den ellers alt for høje musik. Ja, nu var snakker om musikken: den var så høj, at selv vores råbte forsøg på samtale blev reduceret til mundaflæsning og tegnsprog. Så hvis du har planer om at føre en samtale med nogen, anbefales det at øve dine mimiske evner på forhånd. Vi fik dog vores mad ret hurtigt – omkring 20 minutter. Vores naboer derimod måtte vente over dobbelt så lang tid. Da deres mad endelig kom, var deres skuffede ansigter et tydeligt tegn på, at ventetiden ikke ligefrem blev belønnet. Drikkevarer var et helt kapitel for sig. 35-40 kroner for 150-200 ml sodavand, der var fladere end min lyst til at vende tilbage. Man kunne næsten fornemme, at selv boblerne også havde opgivet lysten. Hele oplevelsen skal så klares via en app, hvilket egentlig kunne være smart nok, hvis personalet altså havde formået at forklare konceptet ordentligt. De gjorde faktisk et halvhjertet forsøg på at fortælle os om appen, men det gik så hurtigt og mumlende, at hverken min partner eller jeg forstod noget som helst. Resultatet var forvirring og fejlagtige bestillinger, fordi personalet heller ikke selv gad tjekke, hvad der blev bestilt. Alt i alt var besøget en vaskeægte katastrofe. Ekstra ærgerligt, eftersom Koi tidligere var kendt for fantastisk sushi og god stemning. Nu er det blevet et All You Can Eat-koncept, hvor det føles mere som All You Can Regret. Kort sagt: Elendig sushi, ingen service, kaotisk bestillingsproces, ventetider der varierer mellem "hurtigt skuffet" og "langsomt frustreret", og musik der mest af alt virker som en bevidst strategi for at overdøve personalets suk.

03/04/2025: Everything was decidedly bad - so bad, in fact, that even the seaweed had given up and made it impossible to chew through. Service? They were not familiar with that concept. The staff seemed more annoyed that we came and disturbed their bad mood than happy to have customers in the store. In fact, each new guest got a big, theatrical eye roll followed by a sigh that almost drowned out the otherwise overly loud music. Yes, now talking about the music: it was so loud that even our shouted attempts at conversation were reduced to mouth reading and sign language. So if you are planning to have a conversation with someone, it is recommended to practice your mime skills beforehand. However, we got our food quite quickly – about 20 minutes. Our neighbors, on the other hand, had to wait twice as long. When their food finally arrived, their disappointed faces were a clear sign that the wait was not exactly rewarded. Beverages were a whole chapter by themselves. 35-40 kroner for 150-200 ml of soda, which was flatter than my desire to return. You could almost sense that even the bubbles had also given up their desire. The entire experience must then be managed via an app, which could actually be smart enough if the staff had managed to explain the concept properly. They actually made a half-hearted attempt to tell us about the app, but it was so fast and mumbled that neither my partner nor I understood anything. The result was confusion and incorrect orders because the staff didn't even bother to check what was ordered. All in all, the visit was an unmitigated disaster. An extra pity, since Koi was previously known for fantastic sushi and a good atmosphere. Now it has become an All You Can Eat concept where it feels more like All You Can Regret. In short: Lousy sushi, no service, chaotic ordering process, wait times that vary between "quickly disappointed" and "slowly frustrated", and music that mostly seems like a deliberate strategy to drown out the sighs of the staff.

08/02/2025: I was on Saturday with my 2 girlfriends at Sands and there was nothing to put on the food, but the stench of PIS (excuse the choice of words) from the toilet was terrible.... It reached all the way to the restaurant where we were sitting, so I'm definitely not going there again!

14/02/2025: Food of sufficient quality, relatively small portions. Sweet young people behind the counter. However, they have got the horrible ordering machines which are completely unmanageable AND removed the menu from the wall (replaced with an advertisement). So now it is completely impossible to find out what to get. Not a clear menu anywhere in the restaurant. Only a scroll down menu on a screen. If it hadn't been because husband and children were hungry, I would have left again.

18/03/2025: I had never heard about this place before, after seeing a Facebook post, booked a table the same evening and went there. We had the tomahawk steak and lamb shank, both cooked very nice, with a great amount of vegetables to go with it. So much on this menu we want to explore, we will be back soon again. Bonus, it's beautiful with the moonlight over the water, we were lucky with a clear evening 🙂
