09/03/2026: Today we had a lunch reservation at your restaurant to celebrate our wedding together with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we entered, a waitress in her fifties with short hair immediately asked us, in a rather abrupt tone, whether we were planning to close the door behind us or if she had to do it herself. We had not noticed that the door had not closed automatically, so this came as a surprise to us. She did not show us where we could hang our coats, so we brought them with us to the table. Shortly afterwards, she approached us again and told us, in a very rude manner, that we were putting her health at risk and that she might slip on my coat and “break all of her bones.” We were shocked by the tone and the way we were spoken to. As a result, we decided to leave immediately and celebrate elsewhere. What was meant to be a special celebration for our wedding turned into a very upsetting experience. I would strongly encourage you to look into how your staff interacts with customers, as this was by far the worst service experience we have ever had.

02/08/2026: Excellent service. The waitress was very friendly and offered us complimentary glasses of water (normally charged!). She even made me a Monaco (a type of iced coffee) even though she wasn't familiar with the drink. Very good service.

27/07/2026: I ordered 2 servings of nachos for 150 kr. per serving, and they were without a doubt the worst nachos I have ever had. The chicken seemed boiled – not fried – and was completely tasteless. There was also very little chicken in the dish. The guacamole tasted of absolutely nothing and was served in a very small bowl. When we asked for more, it cost another 15 kr. I made the owner aware that both the chicken and the guacamole were very tasteless. I even offered to come and see the dish, but he did not. He simply said that he would pass the message on to the kitchen. There was no apology, no interest in investigating it further and no form of hospitality or attempt to rectify the experience. For 150 kr. per serving, I expect a completely different quality – both of the food and the service. It was a big disappointment, and unfortunately I will not be back.

20/05/2026: Ok bread sale In connection with Brugsen. There is a cafe area on the first floor. There was the sweetest sweet clerk.

23/07/2026: One of the worst cafe experiences I have ever had. The staff were extremely unfriendly and greeted the guests with sour faces and an indifferent attitude. You do not feel welcome or respected as a customer. In addition, the glasses were dirty and the cleaning seemed very poor in general. This is unacceptable, especially in a place that serves food and drinks. I will never return and cannot recommend this place in any way.

23/07/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this cafe. While I was trying to order, a staff member turned his back on me and ignored me before I could even finish ordering. I then went to another staff member and explained that the first one hadn’t listened to me, but he simply replied, “It’s not my problem, get on with it.” I asked for my drinks to be non-alcoholic. After I said so, he looked at me in a way that I found condescending and disrespectful. As a woman wearing a hijab, I felt like I was being treated with disrespect because of my hijab. When I finally received my drinks, they were clearly made without care. The glasses were not filled properly and they had none of the decorations that the other customers’ drinks had. I left the cafe feeling unwelcome and deeply disappointed. I hope that in the future this cafe will treat all customers with the same respect – regardless of their appearance or religion.

23/07/2026: The food was good and served very quickly. However, the restaurant itself is very unkempt and dirty. Paper is simply placed over the dirty tablecloths, and the restrooms are anything but inviting. A thick layer of dust covers the surfaces and artificial plants. Very unhygienic. Had I seen this beforehand, we wouldn't have eaten there.

19/07/2026: I have celiac disease and after a conversation with them I ended up still feeling bad and having gluten, despite the gluten-free burger which in the end didn't matter.

10/07/2026: I stayed at Hotel Svanen with my man for 4 nights on July (6.7.-10.7.). The room we had was room 22 and it was supplied with all the needed items (a hairdryer, two trash cans, a TV, a comfy sofa etc). The breakfast buffet was good as well, I particularly liked that we were able to make our own mini waffles with a waffle iron. However our hotel rooms shower/bathroom was a big disappointment. The bathroom had a moldy wet smell and we spotted 4 fly-like insects, possibly drain flies? Some items in the bathroom had something that might have been mold (picture 2: lock on the door, and picture 3: instruction paper). We made sure to keep the door closed as much as possible because of the smell and the flies. This was an inconvenience and it was not a pleasant place to take showers. The location of the hotel was perfect and the hotel staff was very friendly to us. We did make a reservation online to the hotels own restaurant (Restaurant No 8) a day before our reservation. The restaurant was offering adults and childrens buffets and a la carte menu. Upon arrival to the restaurant we saw a sign informing us that buffet for adults was not available that day because of some kind of a private event. It would have been nice to know this before arriving to the restaurant because we had been planning to eat the buffet food. We ended up canceling the dinner reservation and went elsewhere.

04/07/2026: A nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. This is a good place to stay when visiting Billund for Lego as it is a short walk from both the Lego house and Legoland.
