03/09/2025: Called Tuesday and ordered 9 sandwiches for pickup Wednesday at 11:00. When I arrived the next day the door was locked. After 6-7 calls the phone was finally answered and I got the message that they had forgotten me and were not open that day. Will not be coming back.

09/08/2025: The parking lot outside delivers a fine of 915 kr because you haven't seen the nice sign hiding behind a construction container. It took Q-pqtk 10 minutes to come up with the fine. Nothing at Lagkagehuset or the others about remembering the parking disc. And all this in the middle of a mess of construction debris and gas station asphalt. Well done. Really well done. That meant morning coffee for a total of 1214 kr. Rip off

03/09/2025: Truly delicious pizza. We order regularly when we're in the area and are happy to come back. They also accept special requests for pizza toppings. The service is excellent. Today, they even gave me a free Coke, as well as extra chili powder and herb oil. That was a pleasant surprise.

23/07/2025: The pizza was delicious and from a professional oven. We had the 13 and 20-inch pizzas in regular sizes for 100 and 95 DKK, respectively, and we were impressed. The chef was very friendly—we'll be back. PS: Don't let the first impression put you off. PS: I can't understand the three very bad reviews—they must have been mistaken.

24/08/2025: Exceptional food, service and surroundings. We enjoyed the 10 course menu, in a vegetarian version which was absolutely fantastic. To go with it we got the unconventional wine menu, and the juice menu. It is highly recommended. Local ingredients are used and presented absolutely fantastically. The chef who was responsible for each dish came down and presented it. It gave good insight into each dish, and the opportunity to ask questions. We will definitely be back.

28/07/2025: When you arrive at the place you are greeted by a good family atmosphere, where the children play outside and everyone else works inside. There are no visible menus with prices anywhere to see in the store, but we knew what we wanted, we just didn't know the price, which surprised us a bit. 190,- for 2 pieces of dürum with chili and garlic. The waiting time was not bad, we chose to wait outside since the restaurant does not have any seating inside, while we were waiting the chef asked again if chili and garlic were needed, this I confirmed. Now to the food itself; the roll was ok, rolled not too tight, but definitely not too loose either. The taste was good, but I'm sure it would have tasted better if there was chili and garlic in it. Maybe a little less dressing next time and more of what gives flavor. So chili and garlic were definitely missing, otherwise ok.

26/09/2025: As immigrants from Greater Copenhagen, West Funen has offered many positive surprises: Ebberup Gymnastics Association, the Baker in Haarby, Kutteren Simone with her fresh catch on an early Saturday morning, the special Funen idea of ​​friendliness as cultural capital and we could go on. All small joys that make West Funen a top-shelf place to live. What we didn't expect was to find Thai food of such high quality in Assens, whose charm is an authentic and confident departure from the feverish pursuit of culinary nuances in larger cities. ⭐️ The service and decor are warm and personal ⭐️⭐️ We have honestly not tasted better food on our trips to Thailand. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our daughter loves talking to the chef and is always greeted with the greatest enthusiasm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions generous. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a gem!!

13/10/2025: Highly recommended! The rooms (or rather, cells) are clean, as are the bathrooms and toilets. This is exactly the right place for anyone who has ever wanted to spend the night in a prison. The breakfast is great, everything fresh, and the coffee is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.

28/09/2025: Waited 25 minutes in the drive-in and when the food came it was cold. It's just not good enough...

16/09/2025: Service super good, David took the time to take our order and made it possible to make the food for the children just as they/we wanted. However, a little big onions in the children's burger. The food had good taste and was as expected. The only minus is the slightly loud music.

16/08/2025: The food is tasty without being anything special. Nice cold draft beers and very friendly staff.

10/08/2025: For lunch we ordered fish fillet with salad and were given the choice between fries and rye bread. Nice to have a choice. The fish was deep fried but with thin breading and plenty of fish. Lovely rye bread with kernels and good fries. Cozy place on the harbor and sweet and quick service. Can be recommended.

01/11/2025: I ordered takeaway food which was completely bland and greasy. The only thing that could be described as rancid and reheated was the taste. Three portions were a complete waste; they went straight in the bin. If it were cheap, I could understand it, but these are prices like in a good restaurant. Almost 600 DKK.

12/10/2025: Really sweet and lovely people. Heart and soul and delicious pizza. They will follow your request if you ask for extra crispy or what ever you desire. Never lets you down this place
