03/03/2026: The food was excellent, but not overwhelming. Their wines were surprisingly good. Excellent concept with one price and then ad libitum. The price is probably just a bit too high compared to the time you get and the quality of the food.

11/02/2026: Damn a dirty place. I understand when we came yesterday there were no people at 7 pm. The food tasted very boring and completely tasteless. The best thing was what they didn't make themselves. The wine etc.. Was incredibly bad. Wow we won't be going there again. It's seriously not worth it. Add. Better go to Dalle Wahl where there is more change and fresh dishes. It was impossible to pair a dish with potato salad? haha ​​omg so. It's a bit like food doesn't matter to a place like this.

The sign hung crooked, the door creaked like a horror movie, and there was a strange smell of burning without anything clearly being prepared. But I, naive and sushi hungry, entered Kaito Sushi with hope in my heart and a rumbling in my stomach. If you value your health, don't go. There was no soap, the mirror was covered in... something, and the paper towel holder was hanging by one screw. The floor felt damp. Not wet. 10/06/2026: “Find Holger”…….at Lagkagehuset Their sandwich for 62 kr. has been cut so much that we couldn’t really taste the meat and when we open the sandwich there are only 3 small pieces of chicken. I then call Lagkagehuset in Haderslev… and I’m a bit upset, as I really feel like I’m being held hostage. BUT Alberta, who owns this store, is SUPER appreciative and really de-escalates the conflict by validating my call. The head office has apparently decided that there will be 50 grams of chicken in a sandwich for 62 kr🫪🧐 I really think it’s indecent towards their customers!

10/02/2026: My boyfriend and I bought a family pizza with fries and cola...and a specially made pizza for an evening out of town...but the joy of the food was a boring experience!...they were underbaked And over salted rubber pizza.I am sad and disappointed with the result

09/06/2026: After looking for the reception, I was greeted by friendly staff. I had booked a Suite and got a small Suite, right during a wedding party, with loud music and dancing and the accompanying stomping on the floor so that the chandelier danced, until 1 am. Something that was not informed about when booking or after. At the same time, we were told at check-in that we could not eat in the restaurant, as it was booked for a wedding. The bed in the room was stained with blood and urine stains on the top mattress, just the sheet laid over it. The pillows on the bed were also dirty and smelled. The breakfast was excellent, however. The hotel seems worn out, at the entrance to the castle there is a scrap truck without plates.

08/06/2026: Even though it's a hotel (and the reason why you stay there), it wasn't as good as you would expect. My main concern is the bathroom. I'm very picky about it and I have to say mine had some calc and (probably) toothpaste stains on the floor. The curtain had some broken pieces and the bottom part had a different color you get from not changing and cleaning it often. I felt really disgusted while getting in and it really affected my whole stay. I can respect it's probably not easy to maintain a castle and given its location it's probably not a priority in the budget, but it doesn't feel like it's worth staying there. They're probably better when it comes to wedings and events, but you should pass it if you want to rest for a weekend like I did

19/07/2026: Really boring place with very(!) expensive and boring food, which is made in a deep fryer. Even though the parking lot outside was full of people due to the wind on the bridge, there were no diners in the restaurant and the whole thing seems empty and boring. People are choosing not to go. Too bad when there are now opportunities to create a wonderful place by the water with a view. Practice If the place is to be accepted as it is now, the prices for food must be lowered drastically. 69 kr. for a small bun with cold cuts. And 185 for a hot dish is not acceptable. And why are hotdogs more expensive than gas stations. It should be done better! Also, I can read in the comments that it has been like this for over 6 years, so the reply message from Monarch is a lie - they are doing nothing to change the fact that their restaurant gets such bad reviews!! Don't support them

15/07/2026: The young people should listen to what the customer orders in the drive-in. I really try to say it loud and clear, but I come home with the wrong thing or the order is only half finished because they don't remember the quantity or whether it should be/not be in slices. It can't be right that I have to check the bag every time. It's especially crazy in Haderslev. And now I've also tried it in Åbenrå.
