01/02/2026: When you use the same menu card for children's pizza as for adults (normal), you can expect mistakes to happen? And the telephone was invented so you can call the customer, right? Ordered a 43 “2 should have been normal, got a children's pizza 😅 damn a mess Never heard of a child choosing a spicy pizza & adding extra spicy things 😅 4 pieces of pizza (children) for an adult man 110 kr 🤔👎🏻 was not even reasonable…. After all, the pizzas were good, you damn must have! Still disappointed though! Hope you do better next time 🙏

19/12/2025: Lousy food for 140 kroner Postulates that the crème fraiche dressing is tzatziki. Then he says "just for you 20 kroner discount"

07/08/2025: Have eaten here a few times over the years, the quality has fluctuated soooo much. Had some really delicious Quorma a few years ago. Today it was inedible, so bad I threw it out to avoid getting sick. It tasted sour/bitter, which suggests the yogurt was too old or something. The paratha bread was completely raw. This is so bad I will never order from here again

31/12/2025: The ambiance isn't the best, everything is a bit dated and very utilitarian. But it's all clean. The five stars go primarily to the fantastic service! We arrived a little early, but the friendly employee still opened for us. He took the time for a chat and prepared the food especially for us. The pizzas and the doner kebab were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much!

15/10/2025: It's not a traditional Danish hotel, so it's a different experience. The hosts were super friendly and they made dinner for us when we were late home after a trip - out of season. The place itself is eclectic and we took a lot of pictures so we could remember with a smile on our faces. It's a bit accessible and it's close to beautiful walks. Nice with the outdoor areas that gave privacy and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful starry sky.

04/09/2025: This rest area has become a regular stop on the way to Jutland. There is always friendly and really good service. The food is significantly better than at most motorway eateries. And it is always nice and clean here.

31/10/2025: Don't expect the grand culinary experience... Good place to eat with kids as there are many dishes that most kids like. The staff was nice and helpful.

14/10/2025: Great place...I remember though that the hot buffet was emptied even before 7pm....

09/11/2025: I usually order pizza from here and am satisfied. But lately I have become more and more dissatisfied. The delivery time has become too long, even though they promise to be there within 30 minutes, it often takes up to 2 hours even though I live close by. Today my pizza was cold upon arrival, and it is petty to pay expensive prices, wait a long time, for a cold and boring food experience. Greetings Jesper.

01/11/2025: I have been happy with them in the past, but when you forget part of the delivery, so that one man is left without food, their response should not be: "We are busy, we can be there with the rest of the order in 1 hour" (and we are talking about a 1 km walk) - and where the person in question then gets so offended that our response is that it is not good enough that he simply hung up! Of course we called again and in the end we got a refund for the food that had not been delivered. But of course it was not a very good solution for us and definitely not an example of good customer service. They lost a customer that they have had for several years.

20/01/2026: Take-away food was poorly cooked, badly packed, and overpriced. I paid for a kebab and got fries with meat on top - no salad, no napkins, nothing. Wrapped in aluminium foil and stuffed into a box that didn’t even fit. Never again. 👎

30/12/2025: Chanced by here for a quick dinner while staying in Ribe one night where almost everything was closed. We were the only other family here but things were not too bad! Vintage themed outlet inside with comfortable seats. The folks behind the counter serving us were polite and helpful as well. Portions are big … even for the kids pizza!

13/02/2026: You have to pick up your food, El Castello can't be bothered to deliver it..They don't bother.....I've experienced it several times...

09/12/2025: Probably the worst pizzas we have ever tasted. 3 different pizzas without being able to tell the difference.

25/09/2025: Visit on September 24, 2025: Snack bar at the harbor in Arø with typical Danish dishes. Self-service. Friendly service. Theme nights. Caddy rental.

22/09/2025: We were over to eat and there was a larger group ordering ice cream next to us. When the man who was supposed to make the ice cream, i.e. pick it up with an ice cream scoop and put the balls into the cups, couldn't get the ice cream out of the scoop, we counted that he pushed it out 7 times with a finger and licked his finger afterwards, after which he continued. Once he also wiped his finger on his pants and continued. When it was commented on to him in a nice way, the person was thrown out. Everything about this experience is disgusting and wrong.

10/08/2025: Unfortunately, far from the usual high level for Lagkagehuset. When we arrived, they didn't seem prepared for our Click & Collect order, which we had placed an hour in advance - despite the fact that they weren't in a hurry. They started making one sandwich from scratch when I arrived (delicious, but could have been made in advance). Only when I see the clerk pouring something other than whole milk (which was what I ordered) into the iced coffee cups do I ask if he's using whole milk. It certainly wasn't, as they had run out. Ran out?! If - as I always experience from Lagkagehuset, if something is sold out - they had called and said "we're out of whole milk", I would have thanked them, cancelled the order and ordered a Lagkagehuset later on our way home.

20/11/2025: Usually the pastries at Lagkagehuset are excellent and taste as they should. We sometimes buy cakes etc. from the branch in Haderslev. We have also often bought sandwiches when we were hungry for fun or had to go on a trip with the family. Today we stop by Lagkagehuset to buy sandwiches.. we wanted a spicy tuna and egg & shrimp.. we are told that we cannot get egg & shrimp. So we order two spicy tuna.. which we then find out when we get home is just a regular tuna sandwich.. for over 60,- per piece We are talking about a bun here, with mayo. Iceberg lettuce and tuna salad.. I think that was it? Because there was nothing but tuna and lettuce in the sandwiches we took home. Not a slice of cucumber or tomato.. just lettuce on bread with a little tuna.. We specifically choose to buy sandwiches from you because they are special and made with good ingredients. They are a little more picky about you than other places.. Until now.. where we can actually get a better sandwich at cirkle K .. well I'm just saying That was the last sandwich bought from you. Too bad to go down in standard.. I'll just add some pictures of my 60+ kr sandwich. Thanks for the food .. or something

14/09/2025: Absurd that the "mothership", the original Skallebæk bakery and the first Lagkagehus, is currently having so much trouble keeping enough products on the shelves. Bread is constantly sold out in the middle of the day, for several days in a row you can't get hold of a regular rye bread. What's going on...? "Problems in production" is the answer from the poor employees in the store.
