05/08/2026: Good food (sandwiches) and smiling and service-minded waiters. Possibility to book a table outside. The place is not that cozy.

04/08/2026: We had booked online for 8 pm; I think there was only one table left inside without a reservation. There were several options for dinner: the 12-course menu for 525 DKK, or à la carte (which is actually all the dishes on the menu). I had the smoked salmon and my friend had the tempeh. The service was quite fast; we were there for 1 hour and 15 minutes in total. The dishes were good without being amazing, and not particularly generous. My friend also ordered the potatoes as a side dish, which were quite well seasoned. It was nice when the waiter reminded us what was in our dishes. However, what an unpleasant surprise to see that a pitcher of tap water was charged at 35 DKK per person!

14/06/2026: Super tasty pizza! One of the better ones I've had lately. You have to order and pay for it yourself at the counter, after which they bring it to you. Most people get takeout. Sitting inside is really too hot, but they have a nice little terrace and it's just very relaxed. And super affordable. Great!

I understand that everything has gotten more expensive over the years. But that portion sizes are getting smaller and the dishes are getting more expensive…

06/08/2026: My wife and I went to Nano Sushi in Søborg today. It was really good. Beautifully presented and really delicious. We are both carnivores so we only ordered meat and fish, but there was a large selection and we enjoyed it. It was clean, the service was friendly, fast and efficient. We will also try their restaurant on Ordrupvej soon.

28/12/2025: My son (14), husband, and daughter (1.5 years old) ate here a few months ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since! The portions were very generous, and the jerk chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. I’m from Jamaica, and I fully approve of this restaurant’s twist on jerk chicken! On top of the great food, I truly appreciated the owner’s warmth. She took the time to make sure our little Kira was comfortable and well looked after, which meant a lot to us. We did realize a bit too late that the restaurant isn’t particularly toddler-friendly. However, our daughter was on her best behavior that day, and the owner was so kind and accommodating, making sure Kira was comfortable throughout our visit. I will definitely be visiting again the next time my husband and I are out for a date night. All the best, Kimberly

21/12/2025: For a homesick island gal like myself, visiting the Caribbean Housewife was like stepping into a little pocket of home in the middle of a foreign land. From the moment we entered, Jamain made us feel warm & welcome, and the food blew us away with the flavour I'd been missing since leaving home. Jamain was polite, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we indulged in. It also felt great to converse with someone with a similar background - almost like talking to a longtime friend. This is a hidden gem in CPH, and one that you shouldn't miss out on if you have the chance!

10/08/2026: Arrived in good time to get good seats for a sold out show. Asked nicely if we could sit a little back so we could see the stage better, we just can't because they want to fill the floor first. Would understand if it hadn't been sold out, but for a sold out show it just doesn't make sense. So now comedy zoo is to blame for a bad experience with VERY limited view of the stage! I'm seriously considering coming back, and would definitely recommend everyone to come at the last minute if they want seats where you can see everything that's happening on stage!

25/10/2025: A building that looks as if an architect and a child had designed a dream together. It was 3:03 PM in Frederiksberg. Els looked up at the climbing wall and said, “Harm, this looks like an Ikea hell for sporty people.” She was wearing her coat from Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers, gleaming like a rebellion in a world of concrete and balance. Inside, it smelled of coffee, children’s voices, and Danish design. Everything was round, friendly, and precisely calculated to look spontaneous. I thought of Etsy, of craftsmanship, of how leather lives the way architecture does—with lines that breathe, with imperfections that give character. Els tried a slide that felt more like a religious experience than a playground. Halfway down, she exclaimed, “Harm, I feel my youth returning!” I laughed, because for the first time that day, I believed her. Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers fits perfectly: creative, honest, and made to move with the times. KU.BE isn't a building. It's a conversation between human and material—just as real leather should be.

10/08/2026: It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, the chicken burger was tasteless and quite disappointing. We also ordered the chicken nachos, but there were only about five small pieces of chicken on the entire dish. Overall, the food was not worth the wait.
