07/12/2025: My partner and I went at 15pm on a Sunday and enjoyed it very much. Great Value for money, polite/friendly staff, and good warm food! Was exactly what we wanted - and now we’re stuffed 😆

16/10/2025: Absolutely nothing good about this restaurant. No taste, fear of being sick afterwards. 88 kr is even expensive for what you can have at the lunch buffet

15/10/2025: It's not a traditional Danish hotel, so it's a different experience. The hosts were super friendly and they made dinner for us when we were late home after a trip - out of season. The place itself is eclectic and we took a lot of pictures so we could remember with a smile on our faces. It's a bit accessible and it's close to beautiful walks. Nice with the outdoor areas that gave privacy and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful starry sky.

28/11/2025: Terrible place. The fryer stank and hung heavy in the air. The staff shouted in the back room. Dirty and sticky. Bad food, we left with tears in our mouths, due to overcooked grilled chicken that was tough in the crust, the salad was swimming in dressing.

02/09/2025: Really good and filling pizza with cheese in the crust..tasted great

25/08/2025: Unmanned camping. Decent service building with several showers and toilets. Pool/water park open. Restaurant closed. Local sports clubs use the football pitch located within the area. 800 meters walk to groceries and restaurants.

19/08/2025: Quite simply a disgrace.... We spent one night in this campsite which was almost deserted and clearly in liquidation, with no longer any staff at reception. The majority of the toilets are dilapidated and are former changing rooms from the nearby stadium: only one building was modern, clean and allowed to take a shower. The swimming pool advertised on the website is no longer part of the campsite.... Avoid!

01/08/2025: Maden er simpelhen blevet så ringe, forårsruller som er som vingummi, pølser som har ekstra skorpe, da de har lagt alt for længe, med sprød svær menes der vingummi, gamle tørre rester i fade hældes op i det nye som kommer ind, kartoffelmos, røres op igen med det gamle som tages ind osv, osv Churros total gennemstegte, ny sending som kom ind ok, maden laves helt sikkert ikke på stedet, det varmes kun op, vi er kommet der gennem flere år, men må nu desværre melde fra, skal vi have Grill, så vil det være Flammen fremover Priserne er i top, så kan man også forlange at maden er det, 4 personer med drikkelse 1.242 kr. Ingen af de 4 gæster var tilfredse. Fair at sige, at isen var ok En mega ringe oplevelse

05/12/2025: I regret coming here and spending over 200kr on the buffet My friend and I are getting a bad feeling, we have a stomach ache, I think we'll go for the mac, it's much better. The sushi tastes weird, and it seems like it's been sitting for a long time - the sushi is not inside the restaurant itself but in the middle of the center. All in all, a crappy experience, with bad food. Please save yourself and your money here🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

27/11/2025: We got three pizzas they were really good everything was as it should be and nothing could be faulted. The base was good and it tasted really good. The price was not on the high side so I highly recommend it from here

21/10/2025: They have their pizza crusts under control. They are usually also quite quick to fulfill an order. However, sometimes the details are lacking - if you order something that is a little outside their standard menu. It's a shame because they have a good grasp of the general craft.

11/10/2025: I don't understand how such restaurants can exist. I wouldn't even eat the food for free. A culinary disaster and an insult to Italian cuisine. How can anyone cook so poorly...

26/08/2025: For a restaurant in a kids entertainment park it was okay but definitely not worth a second visit. Ribs were very boney (and not because of the ribs themselves), sauce was great! Also, the pulled chicken burger consisted of 80% coleslaw salad (which was very much unseasoned and didn’t taste of anything really). They also opened quite a few minutes past 12 o’clock. Overall a bit pricey with okay food. Staff was super friendly though!

14/08/2025: I don't recommend the ribs or chicken. The ribs are dry, the meat doesn't fall off the bone, and the chicken is overly salty. The only positives are the kids' meal and the Lego-shaped fries. The prices are high.

06/09/2025: It's not gourmet food, but it tastes good, looks nice, and there's a lot of variety to choose from.

27/07/2025: I was at The Grill Esbjerg today, and I must honestly say that it was unfortunately a very unpleasant experience – especially as someone who, for religious reasons, does not eat pork. The restaurant has a buffet with different types of meat, where an employee stands and carves meat for the guests. Above each piece of meat there is a sign with information about what kind of meat it is. I ask the carver directly which meat is without pork, as this is important to me. He points to three dishes and says that they are “Muslim-friendly”. In good faith, I therefore take a piece of the recommended meat. When I start eating, I wonder about the taste and mention that it is unusual for beef to be marinated in BBQ sauce in that way. Shortly after, he says a little casually: “Huh, it must have been pork after all.” I am shocked to say the least and point out to him that I have just said that I do not eat pork and that the sign clearly states that it is beef. His response is simply: “You do that now.” Later he explains that the signs had been switched around and that it was therefore incorrect. But for me, this does not change the fact that an extremely low level of responsibility and respect was shown – both in relation to allergens, religious and personal food preferences. This is not just about a simple mistake, but about a serious breach of trust and lack of professionalism. If you have allergies, religious dietary rules or simply want to know what you are putting in your mouth, I would definitely advise against The Grill Esbjerg. It is not good enough that you cannot trust the staff or the signage – especially not when you actively ask and get the wrong answer with potentially major consequences.

04/11/2025: Bad food. One time there was plastic in the pizza. Most recently the owner is demanding a different price than the one listed on the menu. He claims that the prices have increased, but that they have not yet changed the prices on the menu. When we pointed out that the prices listed are the ones that apply, the owner got angry and said that we were no longer welcome. We can only advise against this place.

03/10/2025: On Wolt you can order penne alla asia. The menu says penne prepared with beef and vegetables.. But they make rice, not penne. When you explain to them what penne is, they just become rude. I am told in a very sour tone "It's you who ordered fokert!." I first asked them to google penne so they could see what it is, when he continued to be rude I couldn't keep up the good tone myself, and unfortunately also became rude back. Which I shouldn't have but simply couldn't take it anymore. Be careful if you say they are wrong, then the nice people become rude people. In case the menu is updated and they write rice later, I just took a picture of the menu.

08/10/2025: This place has the best pizza ever. We have been regulars for over a year. Recently we put in a pickup order and they said another location with the same recipe would take the order. That was the blandest pizza I’ve ever eaten. I was chewing trying to taste anything. We have since regularly received bland pizzas instead of the good pizza we ordered from the correct place. We will have to be careful ordering from now on only ordering pickup with cash to cancel if they redirect us.

07/08/2025: That was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten!! And the service was horrible too. I waited for my delivery for over 2 hours. When I called them, they said it will be at my place in 5-10 minutes but afterwards it still took them almost half an hour.

12/12/2025: Extremely poor service and otherwise just a hunched man looking after the place, along with a young female who doesn't seem to be fully baked. They themselves think that their pizzas are the best. If you want something extra on your pizza, there is very little that comes with it.. When you want garlic on the pizza, so much thin oil comes over the pizza that it runs out into all the corners and otherwise makes a terrible mess. Even though I can only eat 6 pieces of pizza, they still cut the pizza into 8 pieces. The fries, the menu card says that ketchup and remoulade are included in the price, however, it is stated that you have to pay for accessories, as the place is in the process of having a new menu card made, where there will be price increases.. Maxim servers, very short little fries. Unfortunately, there was no ketchup, there was curry ketchup in the tiny little bucket that had to be paid for, and it was not included in the price, as advertised I took the food to the Meeting Place, to the great disappointment of some, and the joy of one who eats everything when it is free. So it is true that Maxim in Brørup is not a place that can be used if you want to have a proper meal and want to have a good experience..!

29/11/2025: What a terrible organization. The check-in desk simply says you don't need a reservation, so I arrive at 5:30 PM with my happy face and a five-year-old, and of course, everything is full until 8:30 PM. How can you manage to communicate so poorly within one location? Absolutely not customer-friendly. You're standing there for nothing. Disappointing.

05/11/2025: I'm not sure why this restaurant has such bad reviews? I think the food is good quality. I prefer the a la carte menu to the previous buffet format. Unlike Legoland hotel restaurants in other countries, this one appears to cook everything from scratch
