14/06/2025: A cute little café with the option of sitting outside or inside. Delicious coffee from a piston machine, delicious cinnamon rolls, and juice. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Card payments are accepted here; no euros are charged. Recommended anytime, before or after a museum visit, or as a stopover. Very pretty and lovingly decorated.

12/07/2025: It's a nice little restaurant. The food was unfortunately not particularly exciting. The Hox burger was more boring and ordinary than anything I've tried in a long time. The fries were definitely the first time they had changed the oil, and were actually more hard than crispy. The pasta carbonara tasted really good, but was literally swimming in oil and the sauce almost separated before it reached the table. The girls were really nice, and even though the one who served us was definitely on one of her first shifts, it was nice to see her colleague being helpful and helping to create a good atmosphere. On the other hand, the place was so hot, it was uncomfortable, and we heard several people breathe a sigh of relief as soon as they took a step outside the door, exclaiming: "Air!" Unfortunately, the food was in no way worth the price.

18/04/2025: En særdeles hjælpsom og imødekommende ekspedition i receptionen, da min kollega og jeg kom forbi i forbindelse med at udlægge rute i skoven. Vi manglede kort/folder og blev betjent, som om vi var stedets gæster. Det glæder vi os til at opleve igen, og næste gang SOM GÆSTER.

06/06/2025: Good service, but the food could use a boost from a professional. The menu was partially prepared in advance, so the reheating could be seen and tasted. In addition, only the hotdog had ketchup and not the regular one. It's a small detail but with children it unfortunately makes a difference to the experience. As mentioned, the service was good. The nice waiter did a good job, but it was clear that the level of the kitchen is on the low end.

03/06/2025: We came to try the vegan buffet. It was super delicious with great variety and many fine dishes. We also enjoyed the lovely view of Faaborg fjord and the friendly service. A high recommendation from here.

06/06/2025: We came in and asked for a table of 3. A lady told us that she will ask the chef if there was still food, but then somebody else came to tell us that they are fully booked. We got the feeling that they did not want us there.

02/07/2025: Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen, da es genau im Zentrum neben der Kirche ist. Wir waren mit E-Bikes vor Ort und durften unsere Akkus laden, für uns ein super Pluspunkt! Das Essen und die Bedienung waren auch super. Rundum eine Empfehlung wert.

The food and drinks are authentic and down-to-earth, served with taste. No frills, but delicious. The atmosphere brightened our day. Thank you for still having such honest places.
