12/12/2025: There are a whole row of stars for you, Bjarne. You gave the Filipino bride and groom an absolutely fantastic smørrebrød experience. Lots of flavor and of course a lot of good stories. They were completely overwhelmed. The only thing I'm nervous about is that my photos of them will now come in second place. Thanks and best wishes from Peter - PhotoCare Vejle. 15/09/2025: Yes, like so many guests, we can only agree with this recommendation, because everything here just fits together. We made a dinner reservation at 5:30 p.m. and were the only guests for half an hour—it just depends on the weather and the season. The food fully deserves its 5 stars. What did surprise us, however, was the fact that we paid 310 crowns for two Aperol Spritzes. When we looked at the bill, we discovered the reason. Our favorite drink was mixed with champagne. Unfortunately, we call that adulteration at the highest level, and it should be avoided because the flavor is completely lost with 30% ice cubes.

13/08/2025: Wonderful old school hotel and restaurant, with beautiful interior, straight out of a time long gone. The quality of the food was exquisite, the service staff a bit overwhelmed by the many customers outside while we were left alone inside. No big deal, the inside was the place to be here anyway and much nicer than the garden seating, at least in my opinion. Prices are … well, very danish … but we were quite happy with our experience.

29/09/2025: Went on a guided tour with the tractor bus, with a pre-ordered lunch which was delicious and a really good story about the island.

10/09/2025: Somewhat ironically: The battery cage for RVers. Very nice, lots of space and nice bathrooms and common areas. But subjectively, a bit sterile. Otherwise, highly recommended!

And it stuck in my mouth and took away my appetite a bit, my self-esteem had problems again fortunately The staff is super welcoming, and the new restaurant is super beautiful but it can get very loud even with a few guests

19/08/2025: Dejlig let frokost. Vi fik h.h.v. tudbrøl med kyllingesalat og en bagel med røget laks. Og koldt lokal fadøl til. Vi fik meget og særdeles lækker mad til pengene. Venligt og imødekommende personale. Desværre lidt mangelfuldt uddannet. Men det er nok vilkårene i sommerlandet. Men vi var mætte og tilfreds da vi gik. Et dejligt udendørsområde med mulighed for sol eller skygge efter behov.

11/08/2025: This was our second time there. The food is delicious, but the prices are outrageous. I got two small slices of bread and two very small meatballs and a nasty side dish for €10. My son's build-your-own burger had a kind of meatball that was too small for the bun. Another burger I ordered was okay, but for over €20, the side of fries was a real joke. The "Shooting Star" we ordered for over €20 is a fish sandwich with sauce. The staff, however, are very friendly and speak German and English.

10/11/2025: How can you be familiar with charging 115kr for a potato pizza when you throw in sliced ​​potatoes from Flensted!!! That's the worst bad potato pizza I've had to date in my life... Still completely disgusted by the idea of ​​throwing in frozen potato slices Phew that's BAD... Last time we buy from there and will definitely advise others to do the same I can hear you can't stand constructive criticism regarding potato pizza. Thick previously frozen slices of potatoes are just a huge no go potatoes should be sliced ​​on a mandolin iron deliciously thin. That's the way otherwise stop with it!!! And 115kr argh and in 100 years I highly doubt you've made pizza in Gørding 🤣😂 you have to hope some people like your pizzas which are probably good enough but stick with potato pizza or make it right!!!

09/07/2025: We were happy with the food, really delicious with quality ingredients. Service on the other side was terrible, we could see that all the tables around us were well taken care of, waiters were checking up on them, asking about the food or it anybody needs a drink refill, our table was totally left out. We only got food served and then we became invisible, it even took 30 min for anybody to realize that we were done with our main course. I’m not sure if it was because we were speaking English perhaps, but in a finer restaurant like this that should not matter. Too bad, because it was a birthday celebration and being left out like this really put down the mood of the special day …

26/06/2025: Very nice and cozy place. Delicious food - we had the best burger and fries ever. Service could have been a bit more attentive but was very polite. Overall a great experience, would definitely come back.

09/11/2025: 2 day course stay. Beautiful conference room, dinner served in cozy surroundings. The "rest" of the hotel has the feel of a conference center.

08/11/2025: There was something sticky on the wall in the bathroom. I think the cleaning staff is not instructed to clean the wall and therefore they do not take ownership. Classic problem with cleaning... Anyway, the rest of the room I had was OK, plenty of space. My overnight stay included breakfast and the street breakfast is expensive. Food in the prices was a little sharp (schnapps or similar) I have almost never seen that before, at least not in Denmark and not at hotels in this price segment. If you value a good breakfast, then I would choose this hotel over anything else within 50km. It was a really good experience. The breakfast moves the overall experience up to 5 stars. The fact that there is a Tesla supercharger makes charging a breeze and in the nearby town of Middelfart, I ate quite an excellent Thai dish for dinner. Middelfart is also cozy and has a nice harbor with some special architecture on the harbor front. All in all, a good experience.

07/10/2025: Best BLT I have ever had and I am from the US. Bread was amazing, highest possible ingredients. Loved the bacon. Wish I lived closer and I would stop by daily for lunch.

27/09/2025: The fish and chips were delicious (great dill sauce). Had a lovely conversation with the friendly owner. Clean bathrooms. Cloth towels are a nice touch. But best of all was the Fru non-alcolic beer🍺 Best near beer I've ever tasted. Danish made. Tastes like a Belgian ale. Highly recommend this spot! 👍🏻👍🏻

17/04/2025: My friend and I had a super nice ending after a movie at the Old Danish Pub. We had a draft beer and a drink and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere and 100% agree that this is not the last time we end up here

11/10/2025: Get ready for a positive surprise - We stopped in for a round of steaks without having heard of the place before. Really delicious meat and cooked to perfection. We'll be back!
