16/08/2025: Disappointing service! We ate there yesterday. Things started out promising, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our order was taken by the waiter, but apparently not passed on to the kitchen. After a long wait and repeated inquiries, we only received our food after the waiter asked again. The pizza was disappointing in taste; the spices seemed inconsistently dosed, so it didn't have a special flavor. When I asked for chili oil, we only received an oil with ground paprika in a small bowl, which doesn't meet Italian standards. It was acceptable once, but not a second time. The surroundings of Ribe are beautiful and invite you to linger; a stroll through the old town or a carriage ride would be nice additions. Conclusion: Good location, but the service and taste quality didn't meet our expectations. We hope the team uses this feedback to improve the ordering process and service standards.

02/08/2025: You recommend that you book a table months before the Rose Festival, which we do, where we expect to have a good lunch with you, so 3 days before, change your menu to a few simple dishes. There are no more tables and chairs set up, just a full cafe that you can't handle. That's not right at all... 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 We came and left without buying anything, it was a huge mistake to book a table here. We will definitely NEVER come back.

03/09/2025: I like that restaurant so I like being here to eat your food and I also like the spring rolls and I also like the shrimp in your French fries and I also like your really good shrimp tips and they are so good I can't help but eat them.

01/03/2025: Quaint pub, with slot machines, very reasonable drink prices. Toilets were clean. What I found cute was that there were small earrings, watches and the like to buy :-) However, there was no food here, as Google stated!

06/08/2025: We had a super nice stay, where everything was perfect. The staff in particular were incredibly nice. We will come again.

30/07/2025: I stayed here with my family and partner. We were getting married on the nearby island, so the location was great. Right next to the ferry. The staff were very helpful and we also liked the restaurant as well. The rooms we had were quaint and very classical. The location is good. Parking is tricky but the staff can help direct you to spots. It is also next door to a lovely Italian restaurant.

19/06/2025: Nice simple rooms. Location is average. Have to drive to find food outside the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.

20/07/2025: Updated review (4 stars, APR 2025): My wife and I have been by twice since our first experience. They still have really nice wines - and a few snacks. The staff we experienced were professional and knowledgeable about wines. A pleasure to wine here. Original review (2 star, JAN 2025): Hmmmm. This is a tough review to write. There were good and bad… The wine bar is centrally located in Vejle. It is a cozy and intimate small place with a relatively small number of seats available - which is fine for a small wine bar. They have a very fine selection of interesting wines - and tasty it turned out. They do have a very small selection of mainly snacks - but you can order the charcuterie board if you want a little more. My wife and I dropped by with our grown son a Friday evening. All tables were occupied, but we were able to get a seating by the window on the high chairs. It seemed like the one waiter/bartender at work was quite busy so we got the menus our selves at the bar. After a short while the waiter came to us and asked if we had any questions. We did have questions about some of the wines. But after a short talk it turned out that the waiter (In a wine bar) knew nothing about wines and he had not tasted any of them either. He was not even sure if they had the wines because they were sold out on several he said. So we ordered a wine without assistance. When he came back to serve the wine, he had already opened it and he did not offer us to pre taste it before pouring. That was a first for us at a wine bar. We ordered the charcuterie board - and cancelled 45 minutes later, as he was still not preparing it. As he said: “I’m busy”. And I agree - there should have been two persons at work this Friday. I ordered some bread and asked him if he could cut that immediately - which he did. During the evening he never came by to ask if we needed anything else. We ordered another glass of wine and had to do that by the bar. The wines we tasted were both really good. The bread also was good. But the lack of service and knowledge of the server was a disappointment. We may try it again in the future in the hopes of improvement.

17/03/2025: Fantastic little place with a fantastic atmosphere - wonderful service and great knowledge of the wines that were served - nice glass of white wine and salty almonds/green olives to go with it - bought the white wine home too.

04/08/2025: We got some takeout. The variety on the large menu was fabulous. The taste – a dream!!! Some of the best sushi I've ever eaten.

09/07/2025: Poor pieces of sushi, rice that fell apart, with such small pieces of salmon that they were “indifferent” on the sushi pieces. No possibility of getting sashimi, this is however stated on their website menu under “all you Can eat” Totally disappointing experience, the service was absolutely terrible. A couple of rude and snide girls who were standing in front of the service… All in all a bad experience, will go to Atami at any time! (Here there is actually all you can eat) Save yourself this experience😊
