19/07/2026: We ended up here by chance after missing a train and were surprised by the extensive menu with numerous pizzas and other dishes. Since we unfortunately didn't have long to stay, we opted for dessert: pancakes (actually crepes) with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce! Soooo delicious and highly recommended! The other guests' pizzas looked appetizing too! If you're traveling by car or, like us, find yourself stranded here, you absolutely must stop by! The staff are also incredibly friendly!

15/05/2026: Great place, lovely pizza and dessert. The coffee was great. Friendly service. No rush to get us out. Perfect afternoon and the price was right. I'll be back.

17/10/2025: 08.10.2025 My girlfriend and me who come from England were stopping overnight in Tønder at the nearby Motel near the main train station for 1 night having travelled from Hamburg, and we were heading to Copenhagen the next day. So I had already reserved a table for dinner at this wonderful little boutique hotel. When we arrived the 3 young ladies working kindly welcomed us and all spoke very good English as we cannot speak Danish. We were early for the booking and they did offer for us to be seated immediately which was nice of them, but we insisted on having a pre-drink in their nice bar. I had a Steak Tartare while my girlfriend ate a Pork Cheek dish. Then for dessert I chose the Lemon Mousse while the Cheese & Biscuit platter was also chosen. All dishes were beautifully presented on their plates and were very flavoursome. Yes this may cost a little more than most average priced restaurants, but we got good quality for our money at least. Which is why I highly recommend this place for all kinds of guests, even travelling tourists like we were on the above date when we actually visited. And if I had more money on me I probably could've chosen to stay here, but the Motel suited me on this occasion because of our needs to use the local trains for our travels.

29/09/2025: We are so happy to visit Hostrups Hotel that we have been here in all seasons and enjoyed it every time. A very welcoming welcome means a lot to us - we get it. We have stayed in rooms in the main building and side wing and have been extremely satisfied: quiet and comfortable decor and really good beds. The food is always innovative, looks inviting and is tasty. A walk around the streets of Tønder and a visit to a nearby small German town are part of our stay, after which it is nice to come 'home' to Hostrups Hotel and rest our legs before dinner and a drink.

01/08/2026: Full plate on the stars.👌 It's a fantastic place, the food is made with primarily local ingredients according to the season, which results in super delicious food that plays perfectly with the cozy restaurant and top service.🤩

28/06/2026: Was invited to a 40th birthday 7 people. 10 course menu with wine menu. Lovely food and good wines. The waiter told about the different dishes that were served, also about the golden drops. Yes, it turned into 5 pleasant hours in good company. Full and comfortable 🙂 I can highly recommend the white horse 🐴🐴🐴

01/11/2025: Was here on holiday, stayed at a hotel in vandal so would often use this as a quick meal in. Food is 10/10 very quick turn around on food so not waiting an age for it… highly recommend

22/06/2026: Have been a regular guest at Rankin Park when visiting my hometown. This weekend I stopped by again. Both Thursday and Friday evening. And as always, I was not disappointed. Best recommendation from here, both in terms of food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely come back 😊

11/06/2026: Only for people with money. If I was rich I would have gotten different service. It was obvious. The food was, I don't know. I probably won't go there again🙈

07/04/2026: Celebrated my birthday there last week. It wasn’t my first experience with “fancy-pansy justbecauseitstinyitshouldtastegood” food, but their 10 course menu absolutely blew my mind. The flavour combinations, the thinking outside the box attitude, the spot on wine/mocktail pairing, their professionalism and absolute love and dedication for what they are doing worth every penny.

14/09/2025: Very nice and friendly. Very good coffee, and the gingerbread is perfect! You can also buy some to go. A pack of 6 for 49 kroner. As well as other good things, like soap, oils, and so on.

06/06/2026: We stopped by Trier's Corner because they had caipirinha on the drinks menu. Their caipirinha is the real deal; they made it with the typical Brazilian liquor called Cachaça 51.

05/06/2026: We went to the Gin tasting, with 5 different gins. And a 2 course menu. Definitely worth the money with a great review of the 5 selected gins.!

07/08/2025: It's quite impressive how spirit and empathy can be tasted and felt in the food you eat and the place you are in. The garden is one of those places.

06/08/2025: Great place if you like a relaxed style. Good food they are known for duck belly but thought their small dishes were better. But will definitely come again if we pass by.

23/07/2026: Cute little pub 👏👏👏 There is an older lady. But I don't understand anything she says. But everything is okay. Take it with a smile. Otherwise it's great

28/03/2026: Candidate for Denmark's best pub. Cheap prices, cozy atmosphere and karaoke on Thursdays. Has a few special shots, try the apple cake model for example. The courtyard is lovely in the summer, we bridge players can easily fill it on a good day. Brown pub, which means you can smoke indoors, which can easily be smelled when you get home.

22/07/2026: Nice lunch steak. Good place for lunch

05/07/2026: Standard cafe food. Service ok, but you have to go in and order and pay, you have to find a table yourself. Very self service.
