23/11/2025: We had a party in Slotsstalden yesterday, November 22, 2025, and the food, wine and service were top notch. In addition to the beautifully decorated room with flowers on the tables and a fire in the fireplace, we were received with great kindness. A big thank you goes out of our way for a lovely successful party that we can live on for a long time👏👏🇩🇰🇩🇰🎅🤶

17/08/2025: The starter set the tone. A white fish – dry as cardboard, grey in colour and completely devoid of flavour. Sending such a dish out of the kitchen is a culinary mortal sin. As if that wasn’t enough, the experience peaked when the chef saw fit to small talk my daughter – just 17 years old – into having a beer with him. Unprofessional and downright borderline.

01/01/2026: We had booked to participate in the Christmas event on Christmas Eve. We experienced a chaotic arrival, where the front door was locked, and we spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where to get in. When we finally entered through a back door and had wandered through long hallways, we were greeted by very young, friendly staff, but the organization of the many guests was out of control. The staff tried hard to create a Christmas atmosphere, but the food was very boring, dry meat, dead browned potatoes, very sour gravy and red cabbage. We left very disappointed and felt cheated of a Christmas Eve. It was definitely not worth the money. We think it would have been better with fewer guests and more focus on the quality of the food. It is clearly a waste, and we therefore cannot recommend their Christmas Eve event.

01/01/2026: Bought their New Year's menu which we prepared ourselves with the accompanying instructions. Great menu with the certainty that you won't leave the table hungry. The only small minus was that the accompanying piece of beef fillet was cut a bit sloppy and needed better finishing to remove the last scenes. Otherwise an absolutely fine menu which can be recommended for a cozy New Year's Eve

15/11/2025: Very good restaurant. We went three times. Dishes with good ingredients. Reasonable prices.

02/11/2025: We picked up take away: Spaghetti Marinara, mixed salad and crustini. And everything was eaten up. Stop full. And we have often been to Italy. Food was ready on time, freshly prepared and hot. There was perhaps a little noise in the restaurant, but otherwise life and happy days on a busy Friday. We will come (pick up) again.

08/12/2025: The food takes 100 years to arrive

17/11/2025: A very tasty sushi restaurant with an "all you can eat" option. It's important to note that they have a policy against food waste. Any unfinished plates cost an extra 10 DKK. So it's best to order small portions and then order more. The food is really delicious, and we tried our way through the entire menu. They also have a good selection of beers and various other drinks. I highly recommend it.

16/04/2026: McDonald’s is, in essence, the place where expectations are never necessary. You know exactly what you’re getting – and they do. Efficient, predictable and with an impressive ability to never surprise. The menu is an exercise in global uniformity. No matter where you are, you can safely order the same thing and get… well, the same thing. It’s almost reassuring, like an old habit you can’t quite shake. The taste? It’s right in the cupboard if the goal is something quick, salty and familiar – and not necessarily something that requires thought. The atmosphere is in a category of its own. A mix of logistics centre and family restaurant, where the pace is fast and the time spent in is typically short. You’re not there to linger – you’re there because it’s easy. And it actually works surprisingly well. The service is fast and streamlined. Order, delivery, on. It all runs with an efficiency that almost feels like an assembly line – which is really the whole point. You get your food before you have time to consider the alternatives. And then there’s that little, almost charming detail: the hope that everything will work out perfectly this time. That the fries will be perfectly crispy, that the burger will look like the picture, and that everything will work. Sometimes it does. Other times… well, it’s still McDonald’s. All in all, McDonald’s delivers exactly what you expect. No more, no less. And maybe that’s why you keep coming back – even when you know better. 🍔🍟

11/11/2025: Avocado toast for breakfast was flavorful and fresh. Mocha was delicious. Owner was friendly and attentive. Quaint little place with an extensive menu. English menu available

30/07/2025: Nice place to have brunch, highly recommended. Went with my son, and ordered a Papa's brunch and a kids brunch. Tasted good and was well presented. It's a cozy place, and it's almost always possible to get a seat there. Prices are reasonable and affordable. The toilets were clean and in good condition.

29/12/2025: We stayed overnight there on our way to northern Denmark. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, both in email communication and in person. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the breakfast is very good.

21/12/2025: Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet has deteriorated significantly. The waffle iron is practically broken, and the finished waffle tasted musty. Instead of the wonderful toppings (like gruel and creamy yogurt mousse that were available a year ago), there was simply skyr and jam – which is already offered at the buffet anyway. The juices were unidentifiable and were certainly a fruit juice blend; there was no cappuccino or latte macchiato. The rye bread and rolls were good – one star for those. The bread and toast were very dry. The scrambled eggs were a completely crumbly, tasteless mush. The soft-boiled eggs (served ice-cold) were quite tasty, but almost impossible to peel and still very raw, making them difficult to eat. There were three types of cheese and three types of cold cuts (a perfectly adequate selection), but all of them were very dry and some were even wavy. The bell pepper strips and cucumber/carrot sticks were very soft and not at all crunchy. We arrived at the buffet early, and it was certainly all leftovers from yesterday. There was still fruit, three kinds of muesli, beans, sausages, hash browns, and jams, but we didn't try any of it. We simply lost our appetite. It's a shame, the view is so beautiful that we usually love having breakfast here.

06/12/2025: There was an animal in the salad on my pizza, I went down to complain about it and they accused me of bringing the animal into my food from my home and told me to get out. They were very threatening. STAY AWAY
