Hotel Hedemarken

04/06/2025: We booked a package deal on the Legoland Billund site and stayed here for two nights. It was a ten minute drive to Legoland.
The staff was very kind and helpful and the rooms were clean and big enough for the three of us.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a more affordable stay within driving distance from Legoland.
It was very child friendly and had a play area outside and inside.
Enough parking spaces which were free.
Also within a ten minute drive to the centre of Billund where you can visit the house of Lego or grab a bite/drink.

There is karaoke on the weekend, and usually a lot of people want to sing. It's super cozy.
Nice bartenders, both when ordering and when clearing the tables.
The few times I've been there, there's a really good and relaxed atmosphere, and no fights or anything like that.
A relaxed and cozy place if you want a beer or drinks with your friends, or just by yourself.
Smoking is allowed indoors.
I'll probably stop by every now and then, when I need to get out for a bit.

Vores selskab var mere eller mindre igennem hele frokostkortet og alle var glade og blev mætte.

This well hidden pearl of a Café, is always a visit worth... Enjoy a great dish and feel the beach... It's all possible here.
I love the dish StjernerSkud, even their version is a bit alternative... as it contains a lot of fresh salad..

I bought some lovely wheat.
16/04/2025: Expensive, but delicious. And finally, remember to save the voucher, because when you have bought for DKK 1000.00 you get a free rye bread and French bread.

01/04/2025: Totally sold on their Cia buns, Mmm.
There is a large selection of both bread, but also cakes and sandwich options.
Definitely worth a visit.

24/05/2025: Awesome Pizza and Burger. Dough was being prepared freshly. Pizza was full of cheese, veggie and chicken toppings. Burger was equally full of veggies.

Their mojito is nice and fresh. The price was okay
06/06/2025: Lovely food and super nice waiters. I think there are perhaps a bit too many tables/people in there, compared to the premises, and I think that drags down the overall experience a bit.

06/06/2025: There was a bit of a wait because there were a lot of people. But it was worth the wait. I think it was perhaps the best burger we have ever tried. The bun was crispy, and the steak was good. And the same with the boat potatoes that are served with it. And the location is perfect. We will definitely come again
08/05/2025: Cozy café and ice cream shop with light dishes, delicious food and friendly service. Option to sit outside and inside. Fantastic view over both the old and the new Lillebæltsbro.

08/03/2025: Great place to stay. We ordered a bratwurst and a hot dog and paid by card, which was no problem. German wasn't a problem either. Was very nice, food was delicious.

The only downside is the door, it is difficult to open when you don't have the strength. But a trifle.

The fritters are nicely crispy, nice and clean and the prices are reasonable.
Will definitely come again if I'm in the area.
