09/07/2025: Super service. Fast delivery of food. Nice taste and quality. Not many visitors

05/07/2025: Went in to eat spareribs for lunch in connection with a national competition, where we waited over an hour for the food, and when it finally arrived, all the spareribs were dry and not that tasty to eat.

28/07/2026: The Brunsvigeren is by far the best we've had. It tasted insanely good and was really crispy. Good service and nice employee!

22/05/2026: A truly talented baker, the bread tastes great, when I'm in town I always HAVE to stop by to get both rye bread and French bread. Highly recommended💪

03/08/2026: The smallest amount of fries I've ever had at a cafeteria, and the price was high enough, and no dip included in the price. Could buy small bags for 5 kr each. At my local cafeteria I'm used to getting big tubs of dip included in the price for fries

11/08/2025: Had the opportunity to stroll the old town surrounding this property after our wedding. We loved meeting the townsfolk and sharing the beauty of these surroundings. There was an event going on and we were able to meet some friendly faces here. Would recommend stopping by for a stay or a bite to eat in the restaurant.

27/07/2025: It's lovely, clean and beautiful here. ONE serious thing, near number 9 there was a loud noise all night long that kept me awake. I wondered where it came from. Now we're sitting on the terrace and we can still hear it clearly. It's running and stopping all night long. There's also noise from cars, but it's quieted down Would like to know what it is? And I recommend that you do something about it. A minus of the stay, where the service and meals were satisfactory

21/07/2026: Delicious bread. We were on holiday in the area and often stopped by to buy a freshly baked rye bread. The Fredericia rye bread is highly recommended.

03/08/2026: As good as we remember from 30+ years ago. The røget makreller (smoked mackerel) is a must! Get a side of fries (pommefrites) - they're spectacular!

19/05/2026: We go all the way to Rudkøbing from Svendborg and get really delicious food. We ordered pizza and burger as well as a Belgian waffle for dessert and everything was delicious and you can taste that things are made from scratch. The service was also very welcoming and friendly. All in all a really good experience, we will definitely come here again 👌

13/04/2026: I am always greeted with a smile when I come here and the food is delicious, their food is some of the best you can get in Rudkøbing. Very tasty and nothing is missing. It is a cozy place that I like to come and would like to recommend to everyone on my way.

02/06/2026: Typical Scandic hotel on the edge of the city center. Everything was within easy walking distance from here. Friendly staff and the room had a view of the harbor.

02/06/2026: Our stay at the Scandic Olympic was okay overall. The room was clean and stylish, the bed was comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a sewage smell in the room in the evening. It's not something that should result in a negative review, but it wasn't pleasant either. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good. Please keep it that way; the staff were also incredibly friendly. For a short trip, it's definitely recommended, but please look into the sewage issue, as we mentioned it at check-out and the staff member told us it was a known problem. Perhaps something should be done about it. ;) :) If we come back to Esbjerg, we would definitely stay with you again.
