10/09/2026: A super cozy pub, traditional and incredibly charming. A bartender whose friendliness is second to none, an atmosphere that invites you to linger, a place that couldn't be more inviting. We had a fantastic time here and will definitely be back. An absolute must for every visitor to this beautiful place. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

01/09/2026: I stumbled across this place hoping for a evening wonder through Kolding. The service was great. Then Cloudy lager with a hint of citrus, was just what I needed. The food was amazing. I had the Chefs special of 6 tacos. It was lovely.

08/08/2026: Every time we drive to Billund to visit Lego and stop over in Vejle, we eat right here. Simple atmosphere, but super friendly people and affordable! And the pizzas are simply delicious.

18/06/2026: The only pizzaria in town, but fortunately a really good place! Super nice people and really good pizzas. Not the biggest and best place to sit and eat, but it's possible and that's fine! I would say that the most common thing is to take the food with you. They don't deliver, but I think that's okay! It would be a big mouthful to start with, because it's always busy here on the weekend. And it would also be a shame not to just stop by and say hello!

25/08/2026: From the outside, the place doesn't look like much. It looks more like a small snack bar. However, the restaurant has a very nice terrace at the back. The place just needs a little TLC; then it could be something really lovely. The staff were very polite, the service was good, and the food was delicious!

04/08/2026: Reply to your message: I thought it was a shame that you didn't just admit that your ingredients weren't fresh! I'm sorry I didn't go and read Trustpilot before ordering food from your restaurant, because several people clearly agree. Wolt contacted you when I wrote to you. My boyfriend threw up from your food, this happened an hour after it was eaten, and you refused to give me a refund despite them contacting you, so let's all use it and you want to give me a refund, to seem nice and instead acknowledge your mistake. He lay there throwing up until 6 in the morning, there are no doctors open at that time of day, so no he couldn't go to the doctor, no, and did he have to pay 600,- so you could get a doctor's certificate that he had food poisoning? And funnily enough, throwing up exactly an hour after eating your food? Isn't it funny that I'm contacting Wolt and spending my time writing a review. And don't tell me it was heated to 180 degrees before, your chicken was freezing cold and extremely dry and several of the ingredients had a very special smell, I could throw my bowl out and since I'm pregnant and don't dare take chances like this! The message; NEVER ORDER FROM THERE, BAD INGREDIENTS AND FOOD POISONING!!! We ordered Wolt from there yesterday. We ordered 2 bowls, and the chicken in it was completely cold and you could see it was just something that had thawed, without it being heated through again. As a pregnant woman you are extremely careful, and the food must be fresh ingredients, as they write on their Wolt, and not ingredients that are too bad and cold chicken. On top of that, my boyfriend got food poisoning, and threw up within an hour after he had eaten. In dialogue with Wolt, the restaurant does not want to and back pay. NEVER MORE FOOD FROM THERE!!!!!

01/08/2026: Delicious food as well as service. We received a free appetiser. I thought it would take a long time, because one person worked alone, but she did a great job, and we received the food much faster than I could think of. She did the food with love, for sure.

25/08/2026: Very nice place, the cafe is beautifully situated, right on the harbor of Kerteminde.

24/08/2026: Really nice surroundings, large selection of drinks and friendly service. But the food was simply so bad! Paris steak, where the steak was cold and fish plate, where everything was dry. Everyone at the table agreed that it was the worst food they had had at a restaurant in a very long time.

21/05/2026: Went with former DFDS colleagues today for a lovely dinner with fantastic food. Stop by for some well-prepared homemade food, no pouring anything out of containers. Nice staff and no stress even though the place was full 😋😋😋😋😋

31/03/2026: Really nice baby shower, good food. The only thing was the older waiter who was really grumpy and not customer friendly. She complained about the children to the other guests, not very professional.

17/10/2025: 08.10.2025 My girlfriend and me who come from England were stopping overnight in Tønder at the nearby Motel near the main train station for 1 night having travelled from Hamburg, and we were heading to Copenhagen the next day. So I had already reserved a table for dinner at this wonderful little boutique hotel. When we arrived the 3 young ladies working kindly welcomed us and all spoke very good English as we cannot speak Danish. We were early for the booking and they did offer for us to be seated immediately which was nice of them, but we insisted on having a pre-drink in their nice bar. I had a Steak Tartare while my girlfriend ate a Pork Cheek dish. Then for dessert I chose the Lemon Mousse while the Cheese & Biscuit platter was also chosen. All dishes were beautifully presented on their plates and were very flavoursome. Yes this may cost a little more than most average priced restaurants, but we got good quality for our money at least. Which is why I highly recommend this place for all kinds of guests, even travelling tourists like we were on the above date when we actually visited. And if I had more money on me I probably could've chosen to stay here, but the Motel suited me on this occasion because of our needs to use the local trains for our travels.

29/09/2025: We are so happy to visit Hostrups Hotel that we have been here in all seasons and enjoyed it every time. A very welcoming welcome means a lot to us - we get it. We have stayed in rooms in the main building and side wing and have been extremely satisfied: quiet and comfortable decor and really good beds. The food is always innovative, looks inviting and is tasty. A walk around the streets of Tønder and a visit to a nearby small German town are part of our stay, after which it is nice to come 'home' to Hostrups Hotel and rest our legs before dinner and a drink.

22/05/2026: Fantastic pizza man. Good pizzas, both baked, regular and deep pan. The salad pizza with kebab is especially recommended. It is. My go to pizza. Cozy atmosphere while waiting for the pizza down there. You can of course also eat on site. Service is top notch.

09/09/2026: Disappointing experience again. Fries both smelled and tasted of fish. Hereby a recommendation to use a separate fryer. Burger was below average. Hard to get to the place. Edit: reassuring to guess what we could taste 🤔 exclamation mark exclamation mark exclamation mark

07/09/2026: Got a burger with chili cheese tops, the only vegetables in the burger were 2 tomato slices and cucumber, some salad was missing. The taste was really good For drinks I had ordered a non-alcoholic sparkling gooseberry wine. It took a while before I got it, as the barcode was not registered in their cash register. The place lacked a little cozy atmosphere, there was ok quiet music on the speakers
