03/08/2026: Super good service, from the sweet and smiling young woman who served us, for both a brunch and later an evening visit. The food was as expected from a good cafe, the setting quite cozy, but a little disturbing when the train comes running "over" the bridge above. All in all a good visit, and worth recommending.
Possibility of time parking right nearby
03/08/2026: We had ordered a beef pasta dish in cream sauce. Food was lukewarm and there was almost no cream sauce.
It was a cozy place and the young man who served us was smiling and very chatty 😃
It's just the food that unfortunately didn't live up to expectations.

04/08/2026: So fresh fish! Delicious. Service was so great and welcome to tourists;) local beers are amazing! The prices are so lovely.
03/08/2026: As good as we remember from 30+ years ago. The røget makreller (smoked mackerel) is a must! Get a side of fries (pommefrites) - they're spectacular!

23/11/2025: We had a party in Slotsstalden yesterday, November 22, 2025, and the food, wine and service were top notch.
In addition to the beautifully decorated room with flowers on the tables and a fire in the fireplace, we were received with great kindness.
A big thank you goes out of our way for a lovely successful party that we can live on for a long time👏👏🇩🇰🇩🇰🎅🤶
17/08/2025: The starter set the tone. A white fish – dry as cardboard, grey in colour and completely devoid of flavour. Sending such a dish out of the kitchen is a culinary mortal sin.
As if that wasn’t enough, the experience peaked when the chef saw fit to small talk my daughter – just 17 years old – into having a beer with him. Unprofessional and downright borderline.

03/08/2026: The smallest amount of fries I've ever had at a cafeteria, and the price was high enough, and no dip included in the price. Could buy small bags for 5 kr each. At my local cafeteria I'm used to getting big tubs of dip included in the price for fries

23/09/2025: The owner is incredibly friendly. We ate on site, so we could observe the family atmosphere that permeates the place. The pizza is made with high-quality ingredients and has a wide variety of toppings. Unfortunately, the taste leaves much to be desired. The pizza was bland, as if no herbs or spices were used. The garlic sauce is olive oil with wild garlic.

26/07/2026: We were on a trip in the camper and stopped by to get an ice cream. Great ice cream and friendly service. We therefore decided to have dinner there. Completely traditional barbecue food, cooked just as it should be, good portions, with crispy and well-salted fries, nothing more and nothing less.
