09/05/2025: Warning to everyone who is considering becoming a volunteer at Cafe Paraplyen! This place is without a doubt the worst place to volunteer. A close family member has worked hard for you for a long time – taking shifts, turning up at short notice, being loyal and committed. And how is she thanked? By being slandered, ostracized and exposed to direct adult bullying from other volunteers. It's deeply personal and so disgusting it's hard to fathom😡🙄 Just because she has ADHD and dares to speak her mind and come up with ideas, she is made a scapegoat. No one bothered to take shifts with her, sleep in the same room on trips, or cooperate. She was labeled and isolated - all because you apparently cannot accommodate people who do not fit into your narrow "normal". The umbrella brags about spaciousness and openness, but it's a total joke. Your "inclusion" only applies as long as you don't deviate too much🤨 If you have a diagnosis or struggle mentally, you are obviously not welcome. I am honestly appalled at how low you can sink in your treatment of volunteers! The umbrella should be ashamed. I will never set foot in your cafe again - and can only warn others with diagnoses or vulnerabilities: Stay far away.

04/07/2025: The restaurant was one-third full, yet we were turned away last night. "Unfortunately, due to capacity constraints, this is not possible." The only plausible reason: tourists were not welcome; people preferred to stay among themselves in the chic marina. Fortunately, this was the only time we had to experience this during our three weeks of vacation in Denmark. Very annoying and unpleasant.

14/07/2025: A two-star hotel currently under renovation, it will likely be even better in a few months. It stands out for the owner's great courtesy and attentiveness, always ready to offer solutions for every need. The breakfast is excellent, plentiful, and personalized.

13/07/2025: The hotel is undergoing renovations, which are much needed to be honest. However, the hotel is absolutely charming and is placed on an old market square, very close to the center of the city. The highlight of the stay is definitely the host. I have never met a more welcoming hotel owner! He is full of good advice about what to see, very kind and obviously just enjoys being a host. The breakfast is very well rounded and has a big selection of home made goods. And you get to choose how you would like your eggs cooked!

20/06/2025: Really good hall. I go to handball there myself. I haven't had a bad experience. The floor is good to play on. I don't really mind it, and I love playing there, but there could be a little more spectator seats, but that's okay, we're not professionals yet.

28/07/2025: Nice hotel, with a large selection in the breakfast buffet. Nice with a swimming pool, and easy access. Improvement request - talk to the municipality about getting a bike path on Munkbjergvej - far too unsafe to ride on it with small children.

19/06/2025: Nice place. Quiet place. Only thing missing is some proper lighting in the bathroom for morning shaving.

02/07/2025: At first glance, Mo's Burger and Pizza doesn't look like much. A small place on the corner at a light intersection. We ordered 2 pizzas, 1 Margarita and 1 with kebab and salad. We were told they would be ready in 10 minutes and sure enough 10 minutes later they were ready. The most delicious pizzas, with a thin crust and plenty of filling and cheese and crispy salad. Highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Ordered for delivery via Lieferando (Just Eat). The order arrived complete and on time. We enjoyed the food. We'd be happy to order again.

08/07/2025: My husband bought 3 Birkes today, super delicious Birkes 👍 and 2 low snails with white glaze. The snails cost DKK 19.50 per piece. For that price I expected a delicious and flavorful pastry. But unfortunately the snail was dry and tasteless, no taste of remonce, but on the other hand there was a massive layer of glaze in the middle of the cake which made the middle of the cake so oversweet that even Karius and Baktus cried out for help. At such a high price, I think I could have fulfilled my expectations here for some especially delicious pastry. Practice

10/08/2025: Delicious smörrebröd and friendly service; they also speak fluent German. We highly recommend it.

24/07/2025: Super cozy and authentic restaurant. The service was top notch, an owner who took loving care of customers with a big smile. Had a lovely lunch SIM was prepared with the heart.

30/08/2025: Well, to sum up, it's all well and good here but the food was extremely bad for the price, to the point where I really have to say I didn't think it was good. Maybe that was just my taste, maybe not, but for example I'm having the Caesar salad and it was so-so, I didn't like it, it wasn't good, it wasn't good and I have an open sandwich of mine lying here and I thought that was a bit of my fault. I thought I'd get a sandwich but it's an open sandwich, it's just bread with cheese on it and I have no idea why I paid ten euros for it. It's horrible. It's not great, at least it would taste good, but it's much too hard. The toast is black, the toast is just black, you could say it's so-so, it's worth a three, there needs to be improvement.

10/07/2025: The food - service - surroundings are amazing! The food is full of flavor, it tastes like something and is definitely worth the money! We will be back 🙂
