28/09/2025: Møllebageren used to be a good and well-established bakery where I have shopped for many years. Unfortunately, the place has been disappointing lately – especially when it comes to hygiene and handling of sandwiches. The staff never change their gloves, even after making sandwiches, serving customers at the checkout or answering the phone. If you ask them to change their gloves, they seem offended. The cutting board is also never cleaned or washed after use – the only thing they do is remove food residue with the glove if there is too much. I bought a sandwich here this weekend, and I can definitely say that it has never looked so unappetizing – or been so unappetizing – neither to look at, to have made or to eat. Unfortunately, it did not taste good either, and I ended up throwing it out. I actually really like Møllebageren, but I think they need to get some things under control – especially their hygiene, which plays an essential role when you want to shop there. I have shopped with them for many years and could still do it again, but not if they don't get their hygiene under control.

06/09/2025: Super quaint little bakery. The sandwiches are freshly made and are huge for 55 kroner! Subway stinks compared to this. The sandwiches are generously and generously filled, and you can choose your dressing and bread roll. The cakes, breads, rolls, and pastries are eye-catching, and you can see they're all homemade. The taste is amazing! Our child even got a small bag of gummy bears as a gift :) The "smør specier" cookies taste like my grandma's. A pure childhood memory. Thank you so much. You really made our day!

10/09/2025: Hmm.. Sweet and friendly service. But that doesn't make up for the fact that the rum balls are very compact and very neutral in taste. The French waffle actually tasted good enough until it crunched in my teeth and I had to spit out the mouthful! It felt like tiny stones and it wasn't just one... Where THEY come from, one can only guess. The prices are reasonable, but again it doesn't make up for the inedible pastries.

22/10/2025: Huge cozy decor at the back, which is only for those who have booked a table in advance. We first got tapas for 2, then an extra order of dirty fries Greek style, then drinks and finally smoothie and coffee. Not once in the almost 2 hours we were there did an employee come over and ask if we needed anything. In fact, they were nowhere near, so I couldn't call a waiter over to order more, but had to go all the way to the front of the store and order. The tapas were really boring. Very unimpressive. The drinks, on the other hand, were beautiful and delicious! In general, everything took far too long to make. We especially waited 25 minutes for coffee and smoothie. We would like to try to come back again to enjoy the ice cream, which looked delicious. But we won't be back for the food.

18/09/2025: Not fooled by the service. A young girl who must have started today. 2 others who looked over her shoulder a bit, but then disappeared into the back room. It took half an hour to get a cup of coffee and 2 pieces of cake shoveled onto a plate. It only had to be moved twice! There were very few customers. Why would she have to handle the service alone?

13/12/2025: When you choose to take 114 kr for a salad pizza with kebab. Then you just have to make it right. But as usual, there is again a mistake in the order even though it is fairly easy. Again again again and again ERROR!

21/12/2025: It went wrong right from the start. The menus were not the same. We wanted to have something to drink before the meal, and try one of their special beers, there were so many on the menu that they unfortunately didn't have. We ordered 2 x ribeye 1x turbot and 1 time red deer. The ribeye was cold and sinewy, the sauce was cold and then there was a sprinkling of greens on it, the poms were fine. The turbot looked like a small starter for 365kr The red deer was very delicious. Dessert 1 time ice cream ok 2x Mazarin cake with melted chocolate, the Mazarin cake was not eaten, as we did not have tools to separate it. 1x cheese consisted of 3 small cheeses 3 dry biscuits 2000 kroner for that experience, if we could do it over again we would have had a greater experience by going to McDonald's, we will never go there again.

20/12/2025: Good service, but the food was absolutely nothing to write home about paid over 1000kr. for the food and drinks, it was really bad. Ordered fish with some noodles that could be from Netto. Ribeye steak was ordered, cooked medium with was more than red and with tendons in it. We got 2 different menu cards, so it was a bit difficult to figure out which one worked, when I had to order beer I had to order 3. Times a day they didn't have the first 2 choices even though they were on the menu. So I won't be going there again.

26/06/2025: Vejle's best pizzaria once. With the new owner, the food is downright boring, not enough, or too much. Meat filling has also been halved on all dishes. Before, you got the "same thing" every time. Now you get the same dish 7 different ways. After 10 years as a customer, I have to find another place. I've said it several times down there now. The food doesn't get better, unfortunately. Too bad it was sold.

05/06/2025: Cozy little place, reasonably fast food, good taste, their chili is good, it's not too strong or too mild, you can taste it both ways, the rest of the food is highly recommended 😁

29/09/2025: The food is below average, but as the only sushi place in the area (and far from major cities) it's ok. Have bought food there twice and probably won't do it again. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

26/02/2026: The food was fresh, tasty and really well prepared – I had the dish of the day with homemade rye bread sandwich with avocado, smoked salmon and lots of crispy vegetables, while my partner chose the classic smørrebrød variant with liver pâté and beetroot. Everything tasted of quality and love for the ingredients. The portions were generous, but not heavy – perfect for a cozy lunch break. The atmosphere is pure Danish hygge: soft lighting, wooden tables, lovely plants and a quiet buzz of happy guests. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming – they smiled, remembered our names and asked if everything tasted good. The coffee was also spot on: strong, aromatic and served with a little smile. All in all: a really nice break from everyday life. We will definitely come again – and next time we will take the kids for brunch! 100% recommended to anyone looking for good food in cozy surroundings.

20/11/2025: The room had a strange sour smell and the bed is the very cheap basic model from Jysk. The service was somewhat absent. It is easy to get to and from as it is located a few hundred meters from the highway.

18/10/2025: Very worn out place, there is a nasty smell inside the inn when you walk through the hallways and on the taps. The sink in the room sprayed out everywhere because it was missing a filter. There was water all over the floor after a shower. And the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Unfortunately, the breakfast was nothing to shout about. Now we've been there, but we won't be back.

23/03/2026: Restaurant Vægterkælderen – fantastic location, but fundamental things are lacking Restaurant Vægterkælderen is perfectly located on the market square in Ribe with a view of the Cathedral. The setting is top notch – and expectations accordingly. Unfortunately, the experience was not met. Service & flow We waited over 15 minutes to order and nearly 30 minutes for drinks. At the same time, the service seemed disjointed – we were asked several times about dishes that were not ours. The food – and what must not happen We ordered sun-dried eggs – a classic regional dish. But there was no schnapps on the menu. It is not just a detail – it is a fundamental misunderstanding of the dish. Sun-dried eggs, schnapps and beer are related. If you remove the schnapps, you remove a third of the experience. The dish was served anyway – but without the balance that makes it something special. The fish and chips were dominated by French fries with very little fish. On the other hand, the chicken soup worked really well. Beer Standard selection from Unibrew – functional, but without character or local roots. Overall experience A top-class location, but with major challenges in both service and understanding of the classic dishes. Tip If you put sunny-side-up eggs on the menu, schnapps should go with it – otherwise the dish loses its identity. Conclusion 2 stars – the potential is there, but it requires sharper execution.

27/12/2025: Friendly service, cozy rooms, good tender ribs, however there were bone splinters that were not nice to have in the mouth, side dishes baked potatoes with herb butter and a boring salad. After the meal we got a gin hash which was something ready mixed boring something.

28/09/2025: Waited 25 minutes in the drive-in and when the food came it was cold. It's just not good enough...

16/09/2025: Service super good, David took the time to take our order and made it possible to make the food for the children just as they/we wanted. However, a little big onions in the children's burger. The food had good taste and was as expected. The only minus is the slightly loud music.
