09/09/2025: The pizzaria appears to have been updated recently, and the atmosphere is now much nicer than what the old reviews show. The menu is somewhat limited, but offers some excellent traditional dishes, as well as some less conventional pizza's. Definitely worth trying out! Staff was very friendly, you will be happy to come here!

31/08/2025: Delicious pizza, but the wait for the food was actually too long. The friendly waitress offered us fries to pass the time. Still, it was worth the trip.

29/05/2025: Super good experience, where we were looked after from start to finish. At dessert I discovered that the dessert chef had a watch similar to mine in black, so we swapped it with my blue one. Nice touch that gave a good atmosphere ☺️👌

10/11/2025: My wife and I had an amazing time at Grand House Burger. The service was very friendly, we got out food quickly even though there were a few other tables and only one person managing the whole restaurant. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. I wish we were staying in Rudkøbing longer because this place was something special. Absolutely worth a visit.

09/11/2025: They advertise take-away, almost never answer the phone. When they do, they are rude, have a bad attitude, just say "we don't do take-away today" in a harsh tone and hang up. This is not the first time this has happened.

19/10/2025: I was able to watch F1 at 2100, unfortunately the kitchen was already closed, but that should not spoil the enjoyment.

16/10/2025: Pizza in the high-end class. It tastes of good ingredients and solid craftsmanship. The food came relatively quickly. The service is polite and efficient, you feel seen and you feel welcome. The prices are absolutely affordable. I will definitely come again. The food is fantastic and it is affordable. And it is just cozy here. Thanks for the food.

12/10/2025: We had brunch on Sunday. It was good, large selection of food. The only minus was there were a lot of wasps inside the restaurant

12/10/2025: Super friendly stuff and good quality food. If booked for Sunday brunch buffet, you can eat as much as you like. Lots of seafood on the buffet. Loved it.

12/11/2025: We took a trip to Ribe to have some fun and do some shopping, and when we got hungry, we chose Vægterkælderen. The restaurant is certainly cozy and has charm, but the furniture is a bit worn and could do with a replacement. It was also quite dark in the room, so it was actually difficult to read the menu – a little better lighting would go a long way. The service was sweet and welcoming, and we were quickly welcomed. Since we weren’t terribly hungry, we chose a light lunch – two signature salmon with bread and a glass of dry Riesling each. The salmon tasted fine, but the bread was unfortunately so dry that it almost should have been thrown out. The wine, which according to the wine list was supposed to be dry, unfortunately wasn’t. All in all, it was a slightly disappointing experience, where the atmosphere and service were a bit of a letdown, but the food and overall impression unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations.

27/09/2025: The food and wine were really good. However the service has space for improvement. We had to ask twice for an english written menu, which found the waiter obviously funny (?) The soup was really good, however a piece of bread would be nice. We had to ask for water two times, which was then put onto the bill. I gladly pay for tap water if I have ONLY water but with a consumation above 800DKK I'd appreciate tap water to be included. Food gread, service different story

31/10/2025: Delicious food that tasted really good. But they only get 4 stars because I think a Brochetta for DKK 49.00 with the small size we got is over the top. The rest was perfect.

02/10/2025: Extremely slow service. Small amount of food. Good quality, but the small number of people indicates that the place is not very popular.

24/07/2025: Stopped in at short notice because another restaurant was closing. What a pleasant surprise! A wonderfully friendly team, a truly fresh and delicious product. The whole family enjoyed it. Thank you to the entire team, and keep up the good work!

11/09/2025: It was around 5:15 p.m. Nice neutral service, nothing fancy (maybe because I myself looked like someone who was on the way to the coffin) so no one saw a cow on the ice there. Got a pita bread with kebab, but it didn't taste of anything at all and the vegetables were undoubtedly too wet. The dressing lacked more depth and acidity. The bread was of poor quality, soft and wet and should have been made from scratch and not bought from outside. The meat also lacked flavor, where they had forgotten to add the spices but the consistency was okay. All in all... a lot was saved on professional pride and raw material quality. The waiting time was top notch, but there was no one else before me.

24/08/2025: I am from Turkey. I paid 20 EUR for this meal. I have to say, it’s not very good. It’s a large meal, mostly fluff, just bread with very little meat or falafel. The falafel was extremely overcooked, leaving a bad aftertaste. I also got a small Coke and fries. I’m not used to Denmark’s prices, but this is disappointing.

30/07/2025: Doesn't live up to the pictures at all! My whole family ordered from there and everything was boring in appearance and snaggy, wouldn't recommend ordering there.

01/05/2025: We held our wedding at Alfa. It was a fantastic party with the most beautiful setting. The venue was so beautiful. All arrangements with Alfa were easy and they were very polite and made sure that everything was as we wanted. The food and service were excellent and most guests said both at the party and afterwards that it was incredibly good and the staff had everything under control and there was nothing to be done about it! Would definitely recommend Alfa and if we have a party again, it will be with them.

20/11/2025: Got rib roast with gravy and potatoes for 135 kr 👎 👎 The roast was 2 stars, the potatoes no stars (no taste, strangely hard on the outside and soft on the inside) the gravy 3 stars, the red cabbage 3 stars, while the cucumber salad only got 1 star because it only tastes of vinegar. Definitely not worth the money 🤷
