17/05/2026: Brown tavern as you know it, good service and nice atmosphere.

26/01/2026: We go there at least a couple of times a month. And we always have a great time.

20/04/2026: Got a well-cooked Parisian steak with plenty of side dishes. Can only be recommended.

06/06/2026: Fantastic food, great location and service and everything is perfect. BUT it was terribly hot in the room, as if the ventilation was faulty or whatever in the room, there was no possibility to open the windows, the temperature outside was 17 degrees

16/06/2026: Ordered a schnitzel with poms but was really disappointed. The poms were soft and the schnitzel was just fried, not what I expected at those prices. I'll probably find other places to eat next time.

12/05/2026: The staff is attentive to the guests both when you arrive and when you are finished eating, now we used the app well enough, but if you have to pay full price I have to say that the portions are a bit small, but the food tastes good. The music was a bit loud in relation to the room and the crowd.

21/06/2026: The fish sandwiches and fish nuggets with fries taste good. The smoked fish is very firm, chewy, and somewhat dry.

09/06/2026: The young women are very polite. The fish was very bland, and the fries and fish were very greasy – there's a lot of room for improvement! It could definitely be better! Some things were already looking stale by 6 pm, for example, the lettuce leaves and the sauce on the roll were already discolored, which didn't look appetizing. I'm not used to that, so I opted for the fish box, but as I said, that was a mistake. And right by the sea – I just can't understand it! What a shame! ☹️ Never again.

06/01/2026: Super service, really nice staff and great food!

03/01/2026: We arrived at 7:45 PM but couldn't get Bowls because they didn't have rice. So ordered 2 chicken skewers which were ice cold and 2 times fries which were so soft. We ordered one flute with ham and cheese but the daughter found some other meat in it. A really bad experience, always thought Varde was better than Esbjerg but maybe not anymore, it won't be long before we come again

20/11/2025: Nice place for a concert, but unfortunately it's not well ventilated and it quickly got really hot in there😒 That's why only 3 ⭐️

16/11/2025: A great place for badminton or other group sports activities. On Sundays at 12 noon, there's usually a badminton game. The team is great, everyone's welcome.

24/04/2026: Not quite sure about allergens, unfortunately. Asked if they had a lactose-free cake, the employee looked in a folder and said that the cakes without nuts were lactose-free. It seemed that almost all the cakes had whipped cream on top, so I took one without whipped cream. There were obviously nuts inside the cake itself and therefore also lactose. So we had a birthday boy who didn't enjoy his birthday very much. Practice.

03/02/2026: Ok in a quick turnaround, Brunswick has reached boring 2:30 PM The best thing is French bread, rolls seemed like they were from the day before.

08/12/2025: that was my first time with them, and enjoyed every single minute of it. from the first moment till last, staff will try to make you happy in every way possible! top service, top quality food, probably the best one in the town!

07/12/2025: We were a party of 14 people/company Christmas lunch. I had been looking forward to a lovely experience, but was quite disappointed. The food itself was nice enough, but serving hot starters before we had drinks is not okay, and that was the case with all four courses. The next three hot courses were served without everyone sitting at the table, otherwise it would have been easy enough to advise that the next course would be coming in, for example, 5 minutes so that everyone could gather at the table.

18/06/2026: The dough was definitely the best part of the pizza for me—it was beautifully made and had a great consistency. Unfortunately, the rest of the toppings couldn't keep up. The pizza tasted very bland overall, as it was sorely lacking in seasoning, in my opinion. The tomato sauce also didn't impress me, as it seemed quite tasteless. The mozzarella cream wasn't to my liking either, although that's obviously a matter of personal taste. Overall, the pizza was okay, but due to the lack of seasoning and the underwhelming toppings, it only gets 3 out of 5 stars.

07/06/2026: I have to give it one star. Although I might as well have bought a frozen pizza. There is no filling and a cardboard bottom.

28/05/2026: A very nice atmosphere, friendly and professional service, and very clean restrooms and showers. The shop and restaurant are well-stocked, so everyone will find something for themselves. I recommend it for a break. The only annoying thing is the highway noise. Toilet costs 5 DKK + you get a 2.5 DKK voucher to use at the restaurant. Shower costs 25 DKK, 8 minutes. 01/06/2026: • Everything we ate at Byens Grill was really delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and the service was fast. The best thing was the warm and smiling way the Turkish staff welcomed us. We felt at home and would love to come back.
