05/11/2025: Super cozy Bodega! Unfortunately they had forgotten our reservation, but luckily they quickly got it sorted 🙌🏻 (good thing we popped in briefly, an hour before we were supposed to be there)

19/01/2026: This was my second visit to the "Acqua Blue" pizzeria, the first being in April 2023, and I can once again report a very pleasant experience. Admittedly, the wait in the entrance area to get a table might take some getting used to for some visitors, but as someone born in East Germany, I'm familiar with being shown to a table from days long past, so it wasn't anything to get worked up about. Although the pizzeria was quite full at lunchtime, shortly after 1 p.m., we were given a table for two very quickly after a very short wait. Being seated in the area behind the pizza ovens was perfectly acceptable; after all, we wanted to have lunch, not dance on a stage. The server returned quite promptly after we were seated, and since we had already decided on pasta dishes, the young man took our order with a friendly smile. Our drinks were served immediately after we ordered, and we only had to wait a very short time for our lunch. The dishes we chose, Tagliatelle ai Funghi di bosco (spaghetti with wild mushrooms and cream sauce) and Penne alla Contadina (macaroni with ham, meat sauce, mushrooms, and cream), were beautifully presented. The appearance was no illusion; everything tasted excellent, and the portions were exceptionally generous. After finishing our drinks, we paid at the counter, as is often the custom in such restaurants, and said our goodbyes after complimenting our visit. At around €44, this lunch was certainly not inexpensive for us, but it was reasonable. We will definitely visit Acqua Blu again on one of our next trips to Blåvand to indulge in some gourmet cuisine.

06/09/2025: Late one night, while searching for food in Billund with my children, I stumbled upon City Restaurant. I entered and was greeted kindly in a desolate restaurant. After waking the owner, I asked if the kitchen was still open. The man thankfully replied "of course," and I jumped for joy. When I opened the menu, I fortunately had a spontaneous fit of rage when I saw that the only thing I could afford was pasta carbonara. Unfortunately, my pasta consisted of only three strands. My children were ecstatic to see that beneath these three strands lay a meter-deep layer of greasy soup. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a spoon to go with this smoky substance. I also pooped in the toilet and had to feed my children crayons, which is what happens when you don't provide a spoon with your greasy soup. Otherwise, Perfect restaurant Recommended if you're looking for pure shit

16/10/2025: We wanted to go karting as tourists on vacation. We were told the track was fully booked. When we checked the online booking system, we could book free time slots. When we spoke to the staff on site, they told us our English was too poor to explain the rules to us. Perhaps it's simply because the staff were very young and unmotivated. Can't recommend it...

09/10/2025: Really good place to bowl and a large delicious buffet with something for every taste

08/09/2025: Our food was excellent and reasonably priced. Ordering was done at the self-service terminal and was very quick. So, I would give Togo a 5-star 🌟 rating. Unfortunately, one customer went into the open kitchen and served himself, which is completely unacceptable.

27/11/2025: Very very lethargic service they were more busy talking among themselves instead of doing anything waited 25 minutes for a burger

15/11/2025: I sat in line for a total of 38 minutes at the drive-thru. When I was supposed to get my order, it wasn't the one I ordered. Luckily, I had the receipt, which I could show for 3 meals and side dishes. Still, the man asked if I could prove in any way that I paid for that order, since they had given it to a woman who said it was hers. Yes, I said, the receipt? Can I look in my online bank if necessary? After some thought, he said that they would do it all again. All the while, my 5-year-old son sits next to me and can't understand why we can't get any food. I'm told that we have to drive over and wait. When they finally bring the food, I can immediately see that there is no milk, which I ordered. So he has to go in and get it again. I didn't get the receipt back either, and when I got home to eat my Whopper, there is no bacon on it, which I had ordered extra. If I didn't have the receipt, I don't know how it would have ended. They apologized for the wait, but it's the last time I'll buy there. So better drive over to the other side of Vejlevej.

01/11/2025: Disgusting food waited 1 hour and 45 minuttes and the food was cold when we got it we even founded a worm in there terrible service they where yelling each other last time i will ever go there my complete rating 1/5 to everything

21/02/2026: Hello i was on the phone sith my friend and he was at this restaurant with 3 other individuals and he ordered medium rare when he got the food he didnt receive medium rare so of courS he complain and then the boss come and throw them all home and scream at my friend this was very uncomfortable and disturbing the way the so called boss did manage the situation. It was very disrespectful for all 4 insividuals…

21/02/2026: I went in for a meal, got a well done steak 3 times even though I asked for medium, so I complained about that, then the manager started yelling and sent all 4 of us home. It was a very unpleasant experience for all 4 of us, so I cannot recommend this restaurant in any way

20/10/2025: I do not recommend you to shop at this grill bar/pizza hut, especially if you want to eat flame-fried burgers, steaks, because they could not manage that at all in any possible way..‼️ I instead looked at the menu at their neighbor, Mødestedet in Brørup. (At Alice) Where you can get cutlery delivered. The Meeting Place With fresh coffee, the opportunity to play cobbler billiards, and dark, and watch sports on TV The sweet woman who was on duty at the Meeting Place was a little hungry, so I walked the few meters around and in to order some barbecue food, which I later bitterly regretted..‼️💯😥 The "house" largest burger, with flame-fried steak of 250 grams of meat, (not sure it was pure beef) with bacon and cheese, (real cheese?, Looked strange.) Since there is a burger on the menu, with pickled cucumbers in it, and with More, I ordered pickled cucumbers in addition, which triggered a surcharge in the price of 10 kroner, (surcharge for extra, is completely in place and expected. (there were only 7 slices of small pickled cucumbers, from the bottom shelf, corresponding to a kilo price of approximately 3500.- per kilo.) At the same time, a large tray of fries, with ketchup and mayo, which also triggers a surcharge of 10.- kroner An order of 151.- kroner, for not really a lot of food really .‼️💯 even pick-up. There were at least 8 people working in the small shop, so they can expect to get busy at some point. When I handed in my order, I explicitly said that the steak in the burger should not have much. The woman who took my order was even in the kitchen to ask (ethnic Dane, just new, which everyone seems to have been, Saturday, October 18.) I ask if one of the young people can come in with the food when it is ready, she goes to the kitchen and comes to the counter, with information that it triggers delivery.. I ask how much their delivery costs, which is 30.-‼️💯 That while I am standing and waiting for food, I can see into the kitchen, where something that looks like frozen minced meat is being thrown meat, on a frying pan, and a guy comes out of the kitchen and into the dishes, to me, at the counter, and asks if I also want the ingredients that usually come with it, in the form of cucumber and tomato..⁉️💯😥 I say that I want everything so that they will be the best burger of the day, I say again that the steak should not be fried very much..‼️💯 CHECK, Shouts the guy, all the while running back to the kitchen, and passing on information to those who are preparing the food, "Fresh from the freezer" (the door into the barrel cage is in the washing-up area, between the kitchen and the restaurant.) The steak was completely ruined, not only overcooked (So even before it got on the pan). The tomato was small, lumpy pieces, a single piece of cucumber, there was no onion in it at all, basically just the bottom of regular lettuce.

03/01/2026: We arrived at 7:45 PM but couldn't get Bowls because they didn't have rice. So ordered 2 chicken skewers which were ice cold and 2 times fries which were so soft. We ordered one flute with ham and cheese but the daughter found some other meat in it. A really bad experience, always thought Varde was better than Esbjerg but maybe not anymore, it won't be long before we come again

23/02/2026: Nice place for a course. Good food, nice rooms, friendly staff. Don't sleep - then you won't know the rooms.

21/02/2026: Nice hotel, good food and service. Location is very convenient. Close to the exit and access to the highway without hearing it and 10 fast chargers at Circle K. The neighborhood is boring as such.
