29/10/2025: I never normally write reviews. Mine was so bad that I want to share the experience with others. I went to celebrate my good friend with delicious food but was served almost raw pork dumplings and completely dry spring rolls. We approached the waiter who we had to look for because she was gone by the time we got there. But no offer of new food or an apology. "Maybe you just don't like it?" No, the taste is good enough but they are a bit dry. "Use more dipping sauce" yes, great 🙄 We leave here without eating the food but still have to pay full price. Simply not okay. The only thing that brightens up the mood was a good friend. The one other table of 4 people wasn't busy either.

26/10/2025: To be clear, this is neither noma nor mash.. But Mudlo's fantasy Pizza is something in a league of its own! The old owner is back and the customer care there is in the top 10!

29/09/2025: Great place with lots of options. The slot machines are a bit worn out and a few of them didn't wave as intended and didn't have a not working sign on them. Drink ordering etc. Works great through the app or at the bar

20/09/2025: We had ordered 4 lanes for 17 people to bowl, there was a "system error" so we were asked to wait 2 hours for our lane to be ready In addition, the cutlery in the restaurant is not clean, the food is incredibly boring, and you have to wait almost 30 minutes to receive your drinks Incompetent service, lacking employees who can take responsibility

25/09/2025: Our favorite place, where we've been coming regularly for about 10 years. Always fresh and delicious, despite the change of ownership. Very friendly service. We usually take the Tallerken kebab to go—the portions are so huge that the box doesn't close properly. Payment is by cash or mobilepay. There's relatively limited seating inside, but in the summer, there's a large outdoor seating area.

10/01/2026: Our visit to Koi Sushi was unfortunately very disappointing. Even though we had a table at 5pm and there were only a few other people, we had to wait 45 minutes for the first round of food (perhaps because they were busy with takeaway orders). Since you only have the table for two hours, this meant that our all you can eat actually only resulted in three orders, two of which were panic orders. This was due to the long wait for the food and the stress of having something to eat before the two hours were up. The music in the restaurant was so loud that you could neither hear your company nor the waiters. In addition, we experienced that guests next to us were told to hang their jackets in the cloakroom as part of the “concept” – without any choice and without any kind of service. When we tried to point out the long wait, the waiter left the table before we could finish a sentence. One of the party was also given chopsticks that were already coated in soy sauce and had to be replaced. The food was also not impressive: the kimchi and rice were very dry, and although the bao buns on the menu sounded interesting, they were nothing special. All in all, a very disappointing experience. The 600+ kroner is, in our opinion, much better spent elsewhere, and we will not be back.

16/12/2025: We decided to visit KOI Sushi after seeing that the restaurant had received an award for Best Sushi in Denmark. Having visited more than 10 sushi restaurants across Denmark, I felt confident that I had a solid basis for comparison. We chose the all-you-can-eat option for our visit. Menu: The menu is genuinely interesting and stands out from many other sushi restaurants in Denmark. It offers several items you don’t usually find elsewhere, which is a clear plus. The selection feels diverse and thoughtfully put together. To be honest, the dessert selection felt limited. Adding a simple option such as a small cake or fresh fruit would have completed the menu nicely. That said, ordering is done exclusively via phone, and the images in the digital menu are extremely small. This makes it difficult to understand what many of the dishes actually look like, especially when trying new or unfamiliar items. Atmosphere & Service: The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with a high-end feel. The dimmed lighting creates a slightly romantic mood, although after some time it does become straining for the eyes due to the lack of light. The restrooms are very clean and well maintained, and I appreciated the wardrobe solution, which allows guests to store winter jackets rather than keeping them on the back of the chair. The staff were polite and professional throughout the visit. Food: Unfortunately, this is where the experience fell short. Starting with the sushi: the rice was very dry and tasted as if it had been prepared long before serving. While the fish itself seemed fresh, the dry rice completely overpowered the overall experience, causing the sushi to lose balance and texture. In some rolls, the ingredients were poorly combined, resulting at times in an overly sour taste. I also tried the bao buns with chicken and duck. These were, without exaggeration, the worst bao buns I have had. The chicken was so overcooked in the fryer that it became extremely crunchy, to the point where the meat itself was no longer distinguishable and it felt like eating chips inside a bao bun. The same chicken was also used in some sushi rolls, which gave the impression of eating sushi with fried chips rather than chicken. I hoped the duck bao bun would be better, but unfortunately it wasn’t. The fat from the duck completely dominated the dish, overtaking the flavor of the meat itself. The grilled salmon dish was heavily covered in sauce, to the extent that the salmon’s natural taste was almost entirely lost. The only dish I genuinely enjoyed was the cucumber salad, it was fresh, well-balanced, and flavorful. However, sushi was the main reason for our visit, especially given the award the restaurant has received. In that regard, the experience was deeply disappointing. Waiting Time: Despite being the first guests to arrive and the first to place an order, we waited approximately 30 minutes for the first dishes to be served, which felt excessive under the circumstances. Overall Impression: Based on my experience, I cannot consider KOI Sushi to be the best sushi restaurant in Denmark. I am giving 2 stars, solely for the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food, which is the most important element of any restaurant, did not meet expectations. This is honest and personal feedback. Having visited many sushi restaurants across Denmark, I believe I have a fair point of comparison, and I truly expected much more from a restaurant holding such a title.

20/10/2025: I do not recommend you to shop at this grill bar/pizza hut, especially if you want to eat flame-fried burgers, steaks, because they could not manage that at all in any possible way..‼️ I instead looked at the menu at their neighbor, Mødestedet in Brørup. (At Alice) Where you can get cutlery delivered. The Meeting Place With fresh coffee, the opportunity to play cobbler billiards, and dark, and watch sports on TV The sweet woman who was on duty at the Meeting Place was a little hungry, so I walked the few meters around and in to order some barbecue food, which I later bitterly regretted..‼️💯😥 The "house" largest burger, with flame-fried steak of 250 grams of meat, (not sure it was pure beef) with bacon and cheese, (real cheese?, Looked strange.) Since there is a burger on the menu, with pickled cucumbers in it, and with More, I ordered pickled cucumbers in addition, which triggered a surcharge in the price of 10 kroner, (surcharge for extra, is completely in place and expected. (there were only 7 slices of small pickled cucumbers, from the bottom shelf, corresponding to a kilo price of approximately 3500.- per kilo.) At the same time, a large tray of fries, with ketchup and mayo, which also triggers a surcharge of 10.- kroner An order of 151.- kroner, for not really a lot of food really .‼️💯 even pick-up. There were at least 8 people working in the small shop, so they can expect to get busy at some point. When I handed in my order, I explicitly said that the steak in the burger should not have much. The woman who took my order was even in the kitchen to ask (ethnic Dane, just new, which everyone seems to have been, Saturday, October 18.) I ask if one of the young people can come in with the food when it is ready, she goes to the kitchen and comes to the counter, with information that it triggers delivery.. I ask how much their delivery costs, which is 30.-‼️💯 That while I am standing and waiting for food, I can see into the kitchen, where something that looks like frozen minced meat is being thrown meat, on a frying pan, and a guy comes out of the kitchen and into the dishes, to me, at the counter, and asks if I also want the ingredients that usually come with it, in the form of cucumber and tomato..⁉️💯😥 I say that I want everything so that they will be the best burger of the day, I say again that the steak should not be fried very much..‼️💯 CHECK, Shouts the guy, all the while running back to the kitchen, and passing on information to those who are preparing the food, "Fresh from the freezer" (the door into the barrel cage is in the washing-up area, between the kitchen and the restaurant.) The steak was completely ruined, not only overcooked (So even before it got on the pan). The tomato was small, lumpy pieces, a single piece of cucumber, there was no onion in it at all, basically just the bottom of regular lettuce.

03/08/2025: Ordered from the website and bought a Rib menu. 120 kr. Didn't get any drinks, a burger where the meat was dry and over salted, and a tray of fries that tasted like old potatoes and were soft. This is my first experience is the place. I hope their other dishes are better
