11/07/2026: Disappointing experience: We often come to Hotel Dagmar - the guard cellar. And “have” been happy about it, but not this time. We ordered the famous steak for 345 kr… which turned out to be a very big disappointment, the meat tasted fine nothing special. The salad speaks for itself.. just a few leaves with a little oil, and fries that were not exciting… probably not worth 345 kr on the contrary. The quality has dropped significantly, we have been coming here for many years but that will end now ….. unfortunately Don't bother ordering their steak… only if you want to be disappointed 😊

22/06/2026: Super burgers, delicious fries, delicious 1/2 chicken and a super super delicious deep pain pizza salad with lots of salad and kebab. Been there twice and it's not the last time we come. 29/05/2026: Mediocre at best, they have dropped the ball a lot over the last years. Its a shame, they used to be great!

08/05/2026: According to Google Maps it's open. But it's closed. Maybe it's not their fault, so three stars as a neutral score. So I can't say anything about the rest.

18/04/2026: The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the interior appears modern. The rooms are modern, simple and good. The beds were top notch. In the bathroom, the shower was separated by a glass door - excellent. There is a "motel" feel to the place, as you can only access the rooms from the outside. Many similar hotels have a basement corridor, so you can go directly from the hotel/reception to the room blocks. That would have been a clear advantage. The food - tapas menu - actually didn't have much to do with tapas. The individual small dishes tasted okay, but the whole thing remained "messy". We had been looking forward to the breakfast buffet. It was a disappointment as it was completely crowded when we arrived. We could only sit at another table with other guests. The plates were almost empty - but were later refilled.

30/03/2026: We use the hotel when we visit friends. But it suits that purpose perfectly.

20/05/2026: It's a snack bar at the train station, frequented by many locals. The service was friendly, the food was okay, and the portion was large.

10/05/2026: Pleasant burger restaurant, eat in and take away. Nothing fancy but clean and nice. Edit May 9th 2026: Very busy place on saturday around 18:00. I got their gyros plate and it was great.

16/12/2025: Very friendly staff and a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet plus Mongolian barbecue. Highly recommended.

01/11/2025: Despite there being a larger party that was a bit noisy, we were placed next to them, even though there was room left in the restaurant. The food was ok but a bit boring

15/08/2025: The food was excellent, as was the price. The atmosphere was like a chip shop—you're sitting in a kind of container between two roads, not exactly a great atmosphere.

17/03/2026: My daughter chose to have dinner at Hanzo for her 18th birthday. We both regretted it. Most of the food was barely lukewarm and the standard has really dropped compared to a few years ago. Too expensive for what you get. I can understand why they don't ask if the food was good because they've probably received too many negative reviews. The waitress seemed offended when we said no to her question about whether we were full. We went to Pincho Nation afterwards, which was full and had a great atmosphere on a typical Monday. Never again will Hanzo have the same low standard.

28/02/2026: There were two of us for the Chinese New Year event and the experience was quite average. The food was nice enough but for that price I had expected a bit more of a ‘Wow’ experience. Everything didn’t really taste that much besides the duck. The sauces for the main course were far too sweet, both the peanut and the BBQ were a bit marmalade-like. The duck was really good though and together with the lemon meringue the two best things we had. The drink I had had far too much lemon so it was too sour. In general the flavours weren’t that well balanced I think. We sat quite close to another table and when the waiter served the other table I felt like I was close to hitting her on the head several times. So it wasn’t super nice. I don’t think I’ll be back, but if you’re into sharing and Asian fusion then you might want to give it a try :)

26/06/2026: The service is absolutely, absolutely, absolutely, absolutely abysmal at this Burger King, what the hell is going on there? We have pictures of rats running around out front and the staff keeps trying to oversell, even in the context of refunds they are outright lying to customers and trying to overcharge. It's so bad this Burger King is managed and we are now contacting the management in the US.

01/07/2026: Nice fast food restaurant. There are always people so you have to be lucky to get a table. Easy to order over the screens or via their app. The wait time can vary depending on the time. More people more wait time.

29/06/2026: It annoys me to get delivered half-cold wet fries and burgers just because you come at 11pm and take away. I have 4 minutes home from the motorcycle, which is usually not a problem for hot food, but when you don't have flow in food delivery late at night, it's smart to get rid of the sad food for the drive-in customers who rarely come back to complain. You should have had the food I got again and then possibly served it to the two young guys who were more interested in their mobile phones than the customers during the expedition... by the way, this is the second time I've experienced this and I unfortunately forgot to insist that they make the food fresh while I waited, so it was hot, but should that be necessary??

11/06/2026: Very nice staff, excellent burgers, fries and frensh hotdogs. No waiting time. We loved it!

16/02/2026: Vamdrup Stone Oven Pizza makes really delicious stone oven pizza with a crispy base and fresh ingredients. The service is friendly, and orders are ready quickly.

24/05/2026: Cozy pub. Worst poured Guinness I've ever seen. Not even poured in a Guinness glass. Disappointing.

09/03/2026: Served croissants that weren't for the day itself. Hard as a rock. Serrano came on the plate with plastic on it that you had to peel off yourself.
