05/11/2025: Super cozy Bodega! Unfortunately they had forgotten our reservation, but luckily they quickly got it sorted 🙌🏻 (good thing we popped in briefly, an hour before we were supposed to be there)

26/10/2025: You can smoke here, a nice selection of regular beer and drinks at good prices, a real brown pub, several of them

02/10/2025: A lovely experience at the cafe where we had lunch. Especially their specialty "King Fidde's favorite dish" was really good. We enjoyed the taste of the food and were full for a long time afterwards. And the taste lingered in our mouths for a long time afterwards, in a good way. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere was good. There were many people and it was possible to feel a little close to others.

15/01/2026: Always delicious food, have picked up several times, sometimes there has been enough for lunch the next day, nothing to complain about.

05/11/2025: Super tasty food in large portions, so there are also leftovers for the next day: 1 no.3, 1 no.4 and 2 pieces A for two adults 👌🏻 Always smiling and fast service, whether it's in the grill or over the phone.

16/10/2025: We wanted to go karting as tourists on vacation. We were told the track was fully booked. When we checked the online booking system, we could book free time slots. When we spoke to the staff on site, they told us our English was too poor to explain the rules to us. Perhaps it's simply because the staff were very young and unmotivated. Can't recommend it...

02/01/2026: When we ordered a schnitzel at this café, it tasted as if it was spoiled. The meat had a strong smell of oil that had clearly been used for other dishes and tasted very bad. The potatoes were also completely soaked in oil. When we told the waitress about this, she was very irritated. For two people and two schnitzels, we paid 90 euros. Crazy

19/11/2024: A WoW experience 💐Located at the marina. An ambience that couldn't be more appropriate. A clear menu that offers something for everyone. The food is incredibly tasty and sufficient. The staff trained and educated. We'll definitely be back.

16/11/2024: Super cozy restaurant. Service was great and could even speak German. The menu was also once German and Danish.

09/11/2025: My daughter ordered a McWrap and found a hair in it. The manager came back with a second one. But she didn't apologize for the incident, as if it was Karen. I don't recommend it.

26/09/2025: My friend and I wanted to have a burger tonight, after we had a really nice day together, we order 2 burgers without pickles because my friend has a serious allergy to pickles, I repeat myself and have said it twice that they should be WITHOUT pickles, we eat our food and 10 minutes later we are on our way to the hospital because pickles have been put in her burger, it's just not good enough.

06/09/2025: Late one night, while searching for food in Billund with my children, I stumbled upon City Restaurant. I entered and was greeted kindly in a desolate restaurant. After waking the owner, I asked if the kitchen was still open. The man thankfully replied "of course," and I jumped for joy. When I opened the menu, I fortunately had a spontaneous fit of rage when I saw that the only thing I could afford was pasta carbonara. Unfortunately, my pasta consisted of only three strands. My children were ecstatic to see that beneath these three strands lay a meter-deep layer of greasy soup. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a spoon to go with this smoky substance. I also pooped in the toilet and had to feed my children crayons, which is what happens when you don't provide a spoon with your greasy soup. Otherwise, Perfect restaurant Recommended if you're looking for pure shit

09/11/2025: It was a boring experience, the food lacked spice, the waitress was not present, looked the other way when she served drinks, they seemed indifferent when we ordered the food. There is definitely room for more service. The burger was boring and it seemed like a warmed up steak. .. really sad.

26/10/2025: We were four people and a dog, seated outside on the terrace (which we completely understood). The terrace was covered, so that was fine — however, we asked three times for the heating to be turned on, and each time the staff said “yes,” but never did. They only switched it on as we were leaving. We arrived at 11:00 and didn’t get served until after 12:00, which was an extremely long wait. One of us received a cold dish, and another person’s dish was missing entirely. One meal included cheese that was supposed to come with bread — but no bread was brought. When we pointed out that the breakfast sausages were missing, the staff simply said that the brunch service was now closed and they couldn’t make it anymore. When we asked again for the missing bread, they finally brought it — but charged extra, even though it was supposed to be included. Overall, a very disappointing experience, mainly due to poor service and lack of attention to customers.

11/10/2025: We ordered a burger, fries and a pizza. We waited 50 minutes for the food. EVERYTHING was cold and the burger was raw inside. I called them, but they were completely dismissive. We have ordered from them many times in the past. This was the last time!

19/01/2026: This was my second visit to the "Acqua Blue" pizzeria, the first being in April 2023, and I can once again report a very pleasant experience. Admittedly, the wait in the entrance area to get a table might take some getting used to for some visitors, but as someone born in East Germany, I'm familiar with being shown to a table from days long past, so it wasn't anything to get worked up about. Although the pizzeria was quite full at lunchtime, shortly after 1 p.m., we were given a table for two very quickly after a very short wait. Being seated in the area behind the pizza ovens was perfectly acceptable; after all, we wanted to have lunch, not dance on a stage. The server returned quite promptly after we were seated, and since we had already decided on pasta dishes, the young man took our order with a friendly smile. Our drinks were served immediately after we ordered, and we only had to wait a very short time for our lunch. The dishes we chose, Tagliatelle ai Funghi di bosco (spaghetti with wild mushrooms and cream sauce) and Penne alla Contadina (macaroni with ham, meat sauce, mushrooms, and cream), were beautifully presented. The appearance was no illusion; everything tasted excellent, and the portions were exceptionally generous. After finishing our drinks, we paid at the counter, as is often the custom in such restaurants, and said our goodbyes after complimenting our visit. At around €44, this lunch was certainly not inexpensive for us, but it was reasonable. We will definitely visit Acqua Blu again on one of our next trips to Blåvand to indulge in some gourmet cuisine.
