17/02/2026: We actually had pretty high expectations when we came in, and the menu looked absolutely fantastic. But unfortunately it only went downhill from there.
The food didn't taste at all as expected, the portions were very small, and there were five of us who left hungry and disappointed.
It's a real shame, because they have a fantastic location, and it didn't really take much to elevate the whole thing to a really good experience.
31/01/2026: Perfect after a walk along the water. Very friendly staff and we had a lovely view from our table.

26/12/2025: Never get in as they don't bother to stay open longer than 7pm
I've now received a response from the owner - I don't know if I'm satisfied. The rest area probably knows that Riis Rejser changes on some days and it's typically around 7pm, so they could just stay open until 8pm that day!

07/03/2025: I called and was told the pizza would be ready in 20 minutes, when I arrived I could see they were busy and I got no help at the counter. After waiting 20 minutes OVER TIME I got impatient and gave some eyes indicating I needed help. Then a girl came over and said they would start my order in a few minutes.
So it was supposed to take 20 minutes, but it would take over an hour?!
I just moved to Vamdrup and now I know where NOT to order pizza.

26/06/2025: Vejle's best pizzaria once. With the new owner, the food is downright boring, not enough, or too much. Meat filling has also been halved on all dishes.
Before, you got the "same thing" every time.
Now you get the same dish 7 different ways.
After 10 years as a customer, I have to find another place. I've said it several times down there now. The food doesn't get better, unfortunately.
Too bad it was sold.
05/06/2025: Cozy little place, reasonably fast food, good taste, their chili is good, it's not too strong or too mild, you can taste it both ways, the rest of the food is highly recommended 😁

01/02/2026: I really like their Portobello Mushroom burger, it was delicious. But they dont have it anymore, but in general good burgers I would say the best in town that doesn't feel like it is from a conveyor belt.
Amd their milkshake with real icecream is over the moon!!

10/08/2025: Completely from scratch. Probably the best in town. Helpful, clean and fast service. Recommend to anyone driving by in Vejen. Absolutely fantastic and made from scratch. All the vegetables and meat were great.

23/10/2025: Kabyssen Ice Cream & Grill – Fast food and ice cream in Hejls. A fast-food restaurant serving ice cream at reasonable prices. The ice cream was good, service was fast, and the quality was average. There are also free restrooms.
05/09/2025: The burgers and French hot dogs were excellent, and the service was very friendly! However, the prices are really steep! You know that beforehand, though.

10/04/2025: Simply the worst salad I've ever had in my life. 125kr for a bowl flooded with salad mayo, a limp iceberg lettuce and dry falafel. Almost inedible .. or undrinkable because of all the mayo swimming around

08/11/2025: Ordered a pepperoni deep pan pizza and honestly, it was really disappointing. The bread was undercooked and sticky completely raw in the middle 😕 The only decent part was the toppings.
This is actually the second time I've ordered from here, and the first time the pizza was burnt... I thought I'd give them another chance, but they disappointed again. Even the fries were a bit burnt 😅
Not worth the money, wouldn't recommend their pizza.
