10/09/2025: Hmm.. Sweet and friendly service. But that doesn't make up for the fact that the rum balls are very compact and very neutral in taste.
The French waffle actually tasted good enough until it crunched in my teeth and I had to spit out the mouthful! It felt like tiny stones and it wasn't just one...
Where THEY come from, one can only guess.
The prices are reasonable, but again it doesn't make up for the inedible pastries.
12/05/2025: I didn't know it was possible to ruin a roll, but Bergstedt's Bakery managed it. The bread was so dry that I seriously considered using it as a doorstop. The cake I bought tasted like something that had been forgotten in a freezer since 1998 – and the frosting? Molten scorn. The staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than in serving customers, and the atmosphere in the store was so lifeless that I almost checked my pulse. Bergstedt's shouldn't call itself a bakery – it's a museum of how not to bake. I will never come back unless I need to punish my taste buds.

My whole family ordered from there and everything was boring in appearance and snaggy, wouldn't recommend ordering there.

30/09/2025: I think I was unlucky, because everyone else got good pizzas. But the pasta dish I had ordered, which should have had beef in it, didn't have a hint of beef in it, the mushrooms were cold and didn't seem cooked. I did get another round. And it tasted fine. It was just too small to be full. And I could easily eat there again. It could just be fine-tuned a bit, so everything plays to the max.
31/08/2025: I waited 1.5 hours for my food and nothing happened until we tried to pay for our drinks to leave. Suddenly the food was ready. I tried several times to order beers but the waiters were too busy looking at their phones to help.
After a long wait we had to argue with what I assume was the owner who instead of apologizing for the long wait tried to explain that they were too busy. I think you should only accept as many guests as you can handle.
The food was actually excellent but the long wait and the poor service unfortunately only give it one star.

30/06/2025: Ordered takeaway. Sadly disappointed in the food- not authentic.
All the stews tasted like they had been cooked with powdered broth (little carrot flakes and maggi taste as the giveaway). The Dorowot had not been cooked with berbere but tomato paste. The Gomen tasted like a cream spinach soup.
Have previously had great food from here a year ago.
The injera was good.

14/08/2025: We drove from Esbjerg to Christiansfeld to eat, as we have visited the place several times and have been very enthusiastic. But they apparently do not serve food anymore. It might be useful to advertise this so that people do not drive in vain.
We recommend Mormors landkøkken instead, a good 13 minute drive from there in Hejlsminde.

23/10/2025: Lovely old-fashioned inn located in cozy surroundings.
Close to Odense and the highway.
13/10/2025: A few minutes from the Copenhagen-Kolding motorway on a main road. A gas station is opposite. Ideal. Virtually no road noise. There's a restaurant on site, but it's expensive. You could eat on the way there first, but be sure to check in early. That's not possible until very late. Breakfast is very basic but fine. The rooms are old but clean. The bathroom could use an upgrade. The bedding and towels (plenty of them) are also clean. Perfect for a one-night stopover or, for example, a two-night base for visiting Odense. I believe the bus stops 100 meters away.
The price is very reasonable by Danish standards.

26/07/2025: I have always thought it was the place in Fredericia with the best pizza until today, unfortunately it had not had enough, the dough was not ready and their always crispy and delicious edge was soft and hard as if the oven had been too cold.
The good reputation the previous owner has built up is the new owner if by destroying the city's best pizzaria then probably the last time we drive in there to get pizza there👎👎
08/05/2025: Boring baked pizza.
No flavor and very dry, the “meat sauce” tasted like the cheap glass versions from a supermarket.
Only a small blob of cheese in the middle.
Smoked straight into the trash.

05/10/2025: Super service. From reception to serving staff. Everyone was really happy, smiling and service-minded.
04/10/2025: We had a king-size bed room.
The room was very small, maybe 13 square meters, with a small window, which quickly made it very warm and stuffy.
Opening the window was also difficult because it's very loud outside (party area).
Stains on the floor, very old furniture.
For €120 a night, I would have expected a bit more, as I'd rather stay in a B&B next time. The pictures on the website and on Booking.com had nothing to do with reality.
The icing on the cake was the €25 parking fee for three-quarters of a day.
Just about OK for one night.
On the plus side, the breakfast was really good for the price of €15.
