08/08/2024: Ordered 1 x pasta dish and 2 x pizza online via OrderYOYO, and the order was confirmed for delivery at 18.45. I was with some acquaintances and had to get a taxi home, which was booked for 18.45. They had to keep the 2 pizzas, and I had to have the pasta dish. By 6.45pm the taxi had arrived but no food was delivered. I call them and ask if they are on their way, but got an untimely reply that they couldn't come before 19.20 - which they had not informed about! I will have to take the taxi, and therefore ask that they cancel the order. This they accept and I ask that we get the same menu for free another day and this they accept after some discussion. Yesterday I wanted to collect the goods and had to pay for 1 extra pizza, but they suddenly did not keep their word and became aggressive! I drove my way, and will NEVER set foot in the store again...

02/02/2025: Worst place I have ever been to. The food was generally bad, bad tone from the staff. I would not suggest this place in any way, go instead to the neighboring restaurant Chaps! Super delicious place! (:

08/12/2024: Har den 18 nov 2024 bestilt bord til 10 i anledning af min 83 årige mors fødselsdag d 14 dec 2024 I dag d 8 dec tjekker vi om alt er ok og får at vide at ejeren i går d 7 dec har valgt at lukke og skider på vores reservation d 14 dec Ufattelig dårlig stil

03/11/2024: Vores wienersnitzel var halvtør og lidt sej nogle steder. Der var smørsovs til, som efter kort tid var stivnet til en gul masse. Et barn underholdt hele restauranten højlydt under hele middagen, så ikke første, men sidste gang her😜

14/09/2024: Much more realistic price compared to other pizzerias. Always been satisfied here.

08/03/2025: The food was not quality in relation to the price. Wiener schnitzel was not cooked on both sides. Service was inattentive and very slow.

19/02/2025: We went here for Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious, I had the chicken breast and my fiancé had the fish filet. The chicken was tender and not dry at all and the potatoes were also very tasty. Service was punctual. It was a bit quiet in there as there was only one other couple but I’m sure in the summer the atmosphere is a bit more lively.

12/03/2025: De har italienske forretter, men man kan ikke få deres pastaret som hovedret i deres 3 retters menu, på trods af den er billigere. Det må vi acceptere og bestiller så bare en forret og en pastaret. Carpaccio ver meget tør. Ikke noget olie og ingen bassilikum eller krydderier, men blot skiver af oksekød med lidt parmasan. Den anden forret var lækker. Burata med tomater, olivenolie og balsamico. Hovedretten - som vi begge valgte - pasta - pomodora med burata. Ekstremt kedelig - meget tør - og da vi spurgte efter lidt revet parmasan, får den stakkels tjener besked om at det ikke er en del af det vi køber, men med et. Tillæg på 29 kr pr person kan vi få revet noget parmasan på vores smagløse pastaret. Vi takker nej imens et andet selskab føler med os, ryster på hovedet og griner. Vi spiser lidt af det, og efter 40 minutter af min kones fødselsdagsmiddag kommer tjeneren med regningen. Vi har spist her mange gange og det har været godt. Måske ny ejer leller håbløs kok - aldrig mere øv. 1 glas middelmådig hvidvin (10 cl) til 100 kr pr person.

12/03/2025: My wife and I wanted to have some good food for her birthday. We have been to Den gode smag before, and think it has actually been OK. Today was extremely disappointing... we wanted 3 courses for DKK 340, and when we chose a pasta on the menu we were told that it could not be chosen as a main course. We could choose 6 other dishes which were more expensive than the pasta dish we wanted - but no - it didn't work out... we just ordered a starter and a pasta dish each. The starters - a carpaccio with which was thin slices of beef, with a little grated parmesan cheese. A little dry, and without any green. The other a tomato with burata. Really OK. We both chose pasta pomodora with buratta. It lacked seasoning and was very dry. When we asked for some grated parmesan - the poor waiter was told to say that it was not included in the dish, but for DKK 29 per person we could go for some parmesan cheese. We declined while we and other guests shook our heads. At the next table, they were told that a little extra ketchup cost DKK 20. Absolutely hopeless. We left most of the pasta, and got the bill after a visit of 40 minutes and DKK 770 poorer. We got a glass of mediocre white wine for DKK 99 per glass (maximum 10 cl) PRACTICE This was the last time. Totally hopeless surcharges at overpriced prices for mediocre food.

12/04/2025: Llegada 1030 para nuestra reserva. No hay mucho en el buffet. Pedí más fruta. Después de 30 minutos aparece una dama. Pida la fruta y me dijeron que cocina cerrada. Informamos que pedimos esto justo después de sentarse. En 1142. Nada sirvió. No recomiendo esto. Si quieres costuras de servicio completo tienes que estar allí en la apertura.

18/02/2025: The buffet had a decent selection and good amount of variety with food being quickly replaced, as well as self service bar. We were there in Feb holidays so was quite busy but didn't feel too crowded. Visited on a work trip with all adults who have dined in every Billund restaurant many times and we were pleasantly surprised!

23/12/2024: Fish n Chips tasted pretty good Sweet waiters... but unfortunately there were small children who cried & made too much noise...it ruined the evening

29/11/2024: Ved vores besøg bestilte vi et luksus stjerneskud ( til 249 kr) samt en vægter burger med pomfrit. Burgeren var ok. Dog uden meget smag og kraft. Stjerneskuddet var en fadæse. Med et firkanten toastbrød som bund, som hverken var smørristet eller ristet i det hele taget, men bare tør! Vi spurgte om det virkelig var surbagt brød, det sagde tjeneren ja til. Med på tallerknen, var ligelede en tynd fiskefilet på under 1 cm der smagte og lugtet for meget af fisk, en rulle kogt fisk, en håndfuld rejer, lidt røget laks samt for lidt dressing qua det tørre brød. Et glas hvidvin blev bestilt til dette, normalt er der er et glas vand til vinen, men dette skulle bestilles ved siden af🤌 Vægterkælderen er en cafe, hvor smag, kvalitet og hvad maden koster, ikke hænger sammen. Vil kraftig råde til at gå et andet sted, det kan kun blive bedre.

28/01/2025: Never before have I been treated so badly and rudely at a pizzeria! We had ordered 4 pizzas over the phone. When we get the pizzas, one is mistakenly not a Bearnaise pizza. Mistakes can happen. No problem as such. We drove in to get it exchanged. Then things go wrong. When I arrive, the owner claims in a very rough and rude tone that we had never ordered a Bearnaise pizza, but that he can then pour something on the pizza we had mistakenly received. Naturally, I became angry at such treatment and an accusation of lying, so I left the business. I would recommend everyone to think carefully before you risk exposing yourself to such rough treatment. We will never shop there again.

22/10/2024: We took burgers and pizza with us for the second time today. Just like six months ago, the employees were very friendly and it took 18 minutes, as announced. Everything was cleaned down to the last bite because it was simply delicious. Thank you and see you next time.

02/03/2025: A small box that normally costs DKK 30 is sold for DKK 99, which is insanely expensive. And just noodles and some chicken Therefore will not come there again. For DKK 99 you can get an all-you-can-eat buffet. Stop it, they really take the piss out of people. And guides are not so smart. They pay overprice
