11/07/2025: Delicious coffee, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere! Highly recommended :-)
29/05/2025: Wanted to visit for a quick late lunch after a drive from Copenhagen. Since it was a holiday, I checked the day prior what time they close on their Instagram, where it said the place would be open until 16:00. Unfortunately, even though the place was supposed to close at 16:00 they declined to make us food at 15:05.
Matcha was mid, a little muddy and on the yellow side but nothing too bad :)

18/08/2025: A really good conference hotel. Great rooms. Excellent breakfast, a huge selection of high quality. Would love to come again.
16/08/2025: It is a big building on top of a green hill just outside town (we walked to restaurant square in about 20 min, a lovely walk). The interior design is unmistakably modern 🇩🇰, light warm, natural materials, earthy tones. The rooms are normal hotel rooms, but what earns this place 5 stars is the price performance, the amazing breakfast (seriously!), the incredible friendly staff, the dog accommodating and the nice pool.

04/07/2025: We ended up there by chance while visiting Sønderburg and had a really fun time. Nice regulars who invited us to play with them, friendly staff, great selection of drinks and a seriously huge collection of games to try. Big recommendation!

05/08/2025: Beautiful old venue with exposed timbers and stone floor. Centrally located too with plenty of eating options within walking distance.
04/07/2025: The coziest jazz concerts on Fridays and cool rock/metal concerts several times a year.
Reasonable prices for both entrance and bar.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Optional cloakroom, access to smoking outdoors during concerts and nice toilets.

Stenovn's Pizza

10/07/2025: Today I got food from Stenovns Pizza in Grindsted.
I ordered online and arrived well in advance and asked if they had seen my minuses for the order, and they had.
However, I still ended up receiving mushrooms even though it said *NOTE* MINUS CHAMPIGNON AND PIZZA SAUCE *NOTE*.
I'm not a fan of them but I can eat them, so I ate the pizza anyway after a 25-minute drive home.
Good food and cozy place, but preferably without mushrooms next time 🙂

17/07/2025: Authenticity is the key. The atmosphere, the decor, the food and the service-minded staff. Everything comes together in a higher unity. Take your time and enjoy a meal that is prepared extremely quickly. Read about the place and the whole idea behind it.
09/07/2025: A very pleasant cafe with friendly service. Vegan option: salad with hummus, falafel and pesto. It's complete, it has everything, it's the daily dozen, Greger is happy! 😊

Good rooms. Nice that you can choose whether you want your room made up or not if you stay there for several nights. Good environmental considerations. Good breakfast buffet.

07/07/2025: They have really good rolls, French bread and rye bread - they even have croissants! 🥐
The cakes we tried (the small ones) weren't very good. You can't expect cream cakes on the weekend, which is surprising, since that's probably where people buy them.
Good pastries.
Good sandwiches.
We miss their good spinach buns.
Really nice service - both in store and drive-in, as well as in connection with holding parties.
A big plus with the drive-in! 🚗

25/07/2025: Very nice, clean and quiet hotel, very nice and helpful staff, beautiful view from the room, comfortable bed, I highly recommend it, varied and good breakfast, and also a great location not far from the beach and the market square, so you can explore the city on foot at any time without worrying about getting back to the hotel. I highly recommend it again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
