06/02/2025: If you were to come to the North Sea, promise me that you will visit and eat at Høyer lock. Fantastic service, delicious food and a sense of coziness that you rarely find anywhere else. They have chosen a theme which is the North Sea, and they do it really well. I am a trained chef myself and can only recommend that you drop by the restaurant when you are at the lock. It is one of those places that is important to support, and when you are met by such a nice and warm welcome as we got, mixed with the fantastic food we got, it is important that everyone bids their time. From here the warmest recommendations.

06/04/2025: As someone from Zealand who only eats plants, it is quite a task to get the staff to understand the desire for a pizza that does not have meat and cheese included. Lots of misunderstandings and back and forth before they managed to misunderstand a simple order. Well... the pizza is ok and I could just ask for the chilli which was forgotten. Come on!!! The year says 2025 and there isn't even falafel on the menu 😳 This is apparently how it is in West Jutland

14/03/2025: We were there with children. Traditionally children ate French fries and pizza. We took kebab. Incredibly tasty! And very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

24/02/2025: Got a nice snack just like my father would have made it. With rye bread, and English sauce, ketter and hp that you can dose yourself. Friendly service and a good cold beer from a draft. You feel really welcome here.

04/04/2025: Super experience! Went on a weekend stay, with a dinner menu. From start to finish, the reception and service have been top notch, with super friendly, competent and accommodating staff. The food was nothing short of excellent, with a really well-composed menu, delivered by staff who you could clearly feel were passionate about their profession. The hotel has a beautiful garden, the only thing that drags it down a bit is that it is located between a lot of other villas. It has its own charm, personally I would just like a little more air around the hotel. The interior itself is elegant and slightly understated. The room was nice and clean, with a really nice balcony, which would probably have been used for morning coffee, if it hadn't been for the rain. The bed was soft without being too soft. Will definitely come back another time.

27/02/2025: View of the sea, friendly staff, nice beds, good water pressure in the bathrooms. The price is reduced well outside the swimming season.

15/04/2025: I've now been waiting for my food for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Still nothing has arrived.

11/04/2025: Small, cozy cafe where the guests enjoy themselves and the food is homemade from scratch with good ingredients
