03/06/2025: Short review: Hotel Dagmar in Ribe Hotel Dagmar is Denmark's oldest hotel and is centrally located on the main square in Ribe. It exudes historic charm with crooked floors, lattice windows and a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are individually decorated, and the hotel has two good restaurants - one with classic Danish food and a more rustic cellar restaurant. The location is perfect for exploring Ribe, and the service is friendly and welcoming. An authentic and atmospheric experience in the heart of the city.

29/06/2025: Middelfart's coziest cafe patio. No, maybe Funen's coziest. Good beers, quality coffee. Delicious bagels and the best cheesecakes I've ever seen/tasted.

18/05/2025: Received this response from the owner after the review below of the restaurant. It is under all criticism. They have subsequently deleted the response again. Their response: Shut up, you are just a picky eater and have the taste buds of a three-year-old My review: The food does not live up to the description at all. Their "waffles" are apple slices pressed in a waffle maker without jam. The "Greek yogurt with fruit compote and coconut crunch" is vanilla yogurt with blackcurrant jam and coconut flour. Their "pineapple with mint and pine nuts" were old pineapple pieces and completely soft old mint with bell pepper pieces in between (evidence of old pineapple from another dish?). The bread was tasteless. The service was sweet but terribly slow. The place is nicely decorated with good acoustics. All in all, a terrible experience and we will NOT be back.

29/08/2024: Great experience, beautiful location, amazing introduction by Camilla and subsequent. At the end of the experience, we converted our tickets to annual passes and every day since then, we have been talking about finding time to go again.

20/06/2025: was over on Wednesday and wanted to order a sandwich, came into the store and stood in front of the counter, and shortly after 2 came in after me and stood behind me. when the clerk was done with the customer before me he came over and asked over my head which sandwich the other 2 behind me wanted? that's bad customer service, I would say that you dispatch people in the order they enter the store. no explanation or hello, maybe you should set up a numbered machine. i left without buying anything. you make the best sandwiches in town, but i won't be back.

29/05/2025: After a long journey from Copenhagen to Koldning I haven't tasted a bagel this good in a long time. Advantages like Huge selection of meats vegetables and extra things you can put in and they fresh heat the bread. When they make your sandwitch / bagel 10 out of 10

08/06/2025: Beautiful, dated room. The surroundings were well-maintained. The food (the fish) was very good. There's still room for improvement at breakfast. For example, only filter coffee was served, even though the coffee machine was available but not turned on.

21/05/2025: Beautiful buildings, delicious lunch served in a very large hall. The waiter was attentive without being intrusive in any way, skillful. As I suggested 14 days ago, one could successfully replace one of the small dishes on the board with a small piece of cheese.

14/05/2025: Super delicious and authentic dishes and pizza a la Italy. Very friendly and attentive staff, cozy atmosphere with good music in the background. All in all a really nice experience!

28/04/2025: Restaurant Upstairs Super delicious Italian pizzas both the first and second time we have eaten at the restaurant. There is no doubt that the quality is top notch. Nice service that also comes and asks if everything is as it should be. On the second visit, I ask about a children's menu, where the answer is that they don't have one, but you get a discount on the food. It would be nice if they had mentioned it themselves the first time we paid full price for the 8 year old.
