De bedste restauranter i Syddanmark

17/07/2026: Had booked a table for 4 places. After 10 minutes of arrival we ask to see the menu for dinner. The waiter says that this evening there is only a grill menu for 455,- per place. We don't understand that, it was neither stated on the phone nor on the website that you could not choose the a la carte menu. Deeply disappointing, as we had pre-booked the time and booked a campsite. It seems pretty clear that Henne Strand Resort is not geared to a high level. Waste of time and money.

13/07/2026: Lunch for 2. Fish of the day, monkfish and hake - really delicious. Tasted the house's home-brewed beer, a great pleasure. Good and efficient service.

12/09/2026: As somebody who came from abroad, I tried sal sal today and honestly it was very delicious and the taste was amazing. The various amounts of sauces they had were impeccable and the meat was so tender and juicy. The staff are also very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends

17/09/2026: A lovely table in a modern yet atmospheric setting. The food is quite traditional (European, but fortunately also a local Danish dish), yet beautifully presented in a modern style. The wine list is wonderful, and the service is friendly and attentive. A small mistake was made by a new staff member, but that was absolutely no problem. Initially, the dishes arrived a bit quickly one after another, but after I indicated that the pace could be slowed down a little, they immediately responded well to that. All in all, one of the few restaurants in Esbjerg where good food and a cozy atmosphere come together. The clientele is a mix of Danish families and corporate guests. Highly recommended.

30/07/2026: Rasmus and his talented team delivered fantastic food for our wedding, which received lots of praise from all our guests. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. We received competent guidance on the composition of the menu, fair prices and the food was top notch. There was nothing to fault and we highly recommend Hotel Glejbjerg 🥰

14/08/2026: All of the meals are great. I always prefer here to eat out because the sfuff is friendly and lovely. The pizza is loaded with toppings.

12/08/2026: Once again, the most delicious pizzas were delivered. And as always, ahead of time, and the delivery man was nice.

22/05/2026: Great pizzeria. Pizzas aren't very big, but generously topped. I chose the chicken pizza myself and it tasted excellent. Price 80 DKR (converted to €10.85)
