12/09/2025: Having only arrived in Haderslev about an hour after 4 hours of travelling we found CAFE MAD. As seems the norm with Danes in the day & a half we've been here the staff were pleasant, polite & welcoming. We had their version of good old fish & chips - it was gorgeous & plentiful, so much so that my partner had to leave some. We would recommend anyone visiting Haderslev to "hunt down" CAFE MAD - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. Darren & Dawn from the UK.

04/09/2025: Nice restaurant but unfortunately Stjerneskuddet did not live up to the price (225 kr). The light bread was spread with a very thick layer of mayonnaise and the shrimp tasted strange. They closed already at 8 pm and we had to pay and leave the restaurant.

21/07/2025: For French people passing through the area, this is a good place to enjoy a Danish hot dog. 😉

14/11/2025: I have exclusively utilized the takeout service at this establishment. The pizzas consistently feature a well-crisped crust and fresh ingredients. It appears there has been a recent change in staff, so I advise a degree of patience. The owner typically prepares the pizzas. The staff members are very courteous. MobilePay or cash is the preferred payment method.

08/06/2025: Easy from the highway. Good rooms. Nice that you can choose whether you want your room made up or not if you stay there for several nights. Good environmental considerations. Good breakfast buffet.

12/10/2025: A bit boringly decorated, but the food is very appealing and that is the most important thing after all. Delicious homemade bread and good fresh ingredients. The only downside is that they choose to use turkey ham and turkey bacon. It just tastes wrong. Now use authentic ingredients instead.

09/09/2025: Great place, skilled staff who are always nice, smiling and service-minded. They are super good at making pizza, they can definitely be recommended.

09/02/2025: Good Danish food at a Danish roadside inn. We had open sandwiches and it was fantastic.

16/10/2025: We stayed with our camper van during the fall break. The peace and quiet, right on the beach in the off-season, was first-class. The dog had plenty of room to run around and play in the seawater. The sanitary facilities were clean, and the reception was always very friendly. The only drawback, but unfortunately a significant one during the cold season, was the broken sauna in the on-site pool. The whirlpool bubbled nicely, but unfortunately only at normal pool temperature. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.

06/10/2025: A great spot right on the water! A very warm welcome and beautiful grounds. From here, you can go on some lovely bike rides. The site has everything you could want or need. We were here in the off-season and enjoyed the peace and quiet. On our onward journey, we were very pleased that the ferry dock was only a kilometer away, although we hadn't known this upon arriving by land – a wonderful surprise. Some of the pitches down by the water offer a view of a small harbor. We'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: Cozy quirky rooms and premises. Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

13/10/2025: The hotel is very cozy, parking is perfect. Friendly staff both at the reception and in the restaurant (basement), dinner is good, however the basement really needs a loving hand - very worn out. Breakfast is really lacking 😕 - it was not refilled, bad bread, no eggs, was it Thick milk or what in the small glass bowls?

11/10/2025: Got an Aperol Spritz... Probably the one with the most ice cubes, sparkling water and the least prosecco we've ever had..Yes a VERY thin Aperol spritz. Thought it was part of their offer of 2 drinks of the same... But no it wasn't part of the offer.. oh well!! Friendly service. Cute young girls. VERY loud music at 4:30 PM.. actually hard to talk to my partner.. And we don't understand why it's necessary for all employees to wear headsets.. Seems like they're trying to be something they don't have to be. We will NOT be back. Not even to eat.
