31/07/2026: Friendly and patient staff, speak good English. If you order a two-scoop ice cream here, you receive a large ice cream cone filled with multiple scoops of ice cream for 100kr. Taste is great, definitely worth the money.

20/07/2026: Food was okay to good. We didn't have ice cream, but rather burgers and pancakes. Large, ample portions. Service was simple but friendly. Worth a try.

05/06/2026: One of the noisiest restaurants I've ever been to. We had to leave before we even got our food due to the noise level. Two people at the same table couldn't have a conversation. Other than that you're sitting like a herring in a barrel.

24/06/2026: The restaurant delivered the wrong order. I was given a 200 kr. voucher. When I ordered next time I couldn't use the gift card on takeaway and get their 20% discount. So I didn't save anything. I spoke to the team leader who said they couldn't help me. Practice

01/06/2026: I was at the restaurant today with my daughter and her son who is one and a half years old. When we were going to pay, the employee said that we had to pay for him even though he hadn't eaten anything. She also wouldn't discuss why we had to pay for him since he was small. We will never go there again because it's not the first time this has happened and it's the same employee who says it. Bad staff and bad service

27/04/2026: The advertisements at the gas station are taking over. Now you have to actively press "no" to want a CIRKEL K benefit card before you can refuel. So stop it.

04/07/2026: The staff can't figure out what no onion means, yesterday I ordered a burger without onion but got a compensation of 250kr but again today the staff has chosen to put onion in it even though it clearly says no onion and it is made very clear to him the two girls called Patrik, who did nothing besides talking to one girl while the other girl was under a lot of stress because she had to do 3x people's work. I am deeply allergic to onions, and it is simply not an okay service. Can only give the service 1 for the staff and the food 1 because I can't even eat it. The atmosphere in there was very good, but it is clear if they don't take their job seriously.

21/06/2026: After waiting for 40 minutes without being able to order drinks or food, we decided to leave. I tried to contact the wait staff, but to no avail, as they didn't seem to notice us. It's a shame, because the view is amazing and the food looked good. Unfortunately, it's hard to enjoy both when the service - or lack thereof - ruins the whole experience. Addendum: I understand that this review may be frustrating for you, but we entered through the main entrance, were given a menu and were shown where to sit. However, we found that no one came to serve us.

16/06/2026: Really great food, sandwiches and burgers - highly recommended. For example, homemade roasted onion rings, lovely homemade relish, lots of fresh horseradish. Burger with a big juicy steak.

11/07/2026: What a rude and unprofessional staff. The food is nothing to shout about either, dry bread, very bad rum balls, and scones taste synthetic.

13/07/2026: I'd give it zero stars if I could!!! Worst ice cream parlor I've ever been to. Very unfriendly and incompetent staff. Especially the woman. Never again! Save your money and go to an ice cream parlor where the staff listens to your wishes.

29/04/2026: Yesterday, after a day at Legoland, we had a delicious meal here. After such a tiring day, it was really nice to sit down and relax. No excessive luxury, just good basic ingredients and really tasty food. The owner is friendly and the service is fast, with a nice dose of humor thrown in. The price-quality ratio is also excellent. Definitely recommended for a short drive after Legoland to enjoy a nice meal here!

19/02/2026: Very poor customer service by the single older guy working. We felt like an inconvenience despite being the only customers dining in. Handed us menus and when we went to order the family pizza said we couldn’t order that for eat in. Why have it on the menu? Overall customer service wasn’t great as we didn’t enjoy our meal or experience.

10/07/2026: Waited 10 minutes to pay for the food at the counter. Was ignored by staff and people were shut out “in front”. Last time I set foot there with my family. Have been there many times, but having to wait to pay is a joke. It wasn’t any busier either

05/07/2026: This is a line in the direction of what we have previously experienced at Carlos. I went in and had a look and 5 years ago I had given the restaurant 5 stars, but I can promise that it could not live up to today. We arrive in the afternoon and the restaurant was almost empty. We are kindly received by the service staff and shown into the almost empty restaurant and handed a menu that was so large that we could not read it before they came and asked for our order. When we were ready to order 5 minutes later it was kebab mix and natchos with chicken - nothing that should be difficult... but just wait and see. We received the food and immediately we could see that the portions were lagging in size compared to what could be expected for the price - but if that was all it was then it was not so bad - but it gets worse. The fries were crispy, but were not hot as one would expect from fresh fries straight from the wishing well. And the nachos were with cheese and chicken, the chicken had to be looked for in all the cheese, and we didn't find much seasoning or flavor, and the whole thing could best be described as lukewarm. All in all, we had been looking forward to a visit to our favorite grill bar on Funen, which we had taken a detour to visit, but we have to say that we will probably have to find a new favorite restaurant for Carlos, it is no longer there - and that hurts me because it was a really good restaurant before. (This is an expression of my and my fellow diners' experience on the day)
