24/02/2025: A nice place to spend an afternoon with beer, cocoa and/or hot dogs, meet other tourists if necessary and exchange ideas. Here you can also get good tips if you have problems (e.g. “Where can you find a good hairdresser nearby?”).

31/05/2025: 2 good pizzas, service gets a star deducted because the pizza was ready 10 minutes later than I had ordered, which I did 3 hours before pickup

13/02/2025: Terrible experience the food is nothing to shout about and when we came in their delivery man came in the door and he didn't start washing his hands before he touched our food he was rude and dirty. Thanks for the food but no thanks again

23/05/2025: As a fried fish lover, I had to try this fish stall for a snack. Unfortunately, it was more than disappointing, and that for a fish stall by the harbor. The worst fried fish I've ever eaten—better not have eaten it. 95% of it was a hard, indefinable crust. You had to search for the fish inside. Unfortunately, it ended up in the nearby trash can. I don't usually like writing bad reviews, but I couldn't help myself here, despite the friendly staff and the beautiful location. There were six of us sailing, and we were all very disappointed. It must have been much better in the past. What a shame.

09/06/2025: The best pizza place in Odense. Perfect pizza every time. Crispy crust and soft inside. Good toppings on both regular and deep pan pizza 🍕 Always happy employees and good atmosphere inside. All in all fantastic. Try it, they won't disappoint.

30/12/2024: The food (two different burgers) was really good. We were a bit unlucky with the drinks. The elderflower juice I'd ordered was out. I ordered apple juice instead. Unfortunately, there was such a tiny amount left that they only brought me a small (instead of a medium) glass mixed with soda water. After the meal, we ordered two espressos. They didn't have those either. So they offered us black coffee. It was halfway okay, but unfortunately not really hot, because it had probably been sitting in a pump jug all day. That really wasn't that great... The staff, however, were friendly and accommodating.

20/04/2025: Second time we ordered food. It was stupid. Not very appetizing. We had to look for brown salad and the chicken in a sandwich. Ordered fries with salt, got soft and sloppy fries with seasoning. It was the very last time we ordered from there. Edit and add

11/05/2025: We were 5 friends on a trip to Odense and had booked a table for 17. I had called in advance and asked if they would make sure there were margaritas ready for us when we arrived and they wanted to - so far so good. We arrive and get our table… there are no margaritas, but that's fine. One of us asks if they can sweeten her margarita with some syrup or something, to which the young girl replies that she has to ask about that (?!) A gentleman comes out of the kitchen and says that they can't change anything as they have already been made, which surprises us a bit, because they aren't there. And they weren't made... the young girl is now getting on with it and she's figuring out how to sweeten it with syrup, so why did we even have to go through that talk about them not being able to change them? One of us has an extreme allergy, and it is obviously a challenge that the place is not responsible for, but we ask them if they can make nachos (not on the menu) - just chips, chicken and cheese. They can't do that... they don't have an oven or grill or anything else... they can only cook what appears on the menu card. There is NO flexibility and of course there is an oven - how else are you going to cook hot food? We find a solution and shake it off... drinks... there is neither cola zero nor pepsi max - there is some (to us) unknown brand, so we just ask for water. Some want water without fizz, one of us would like with fizz, but since it's obviously only possible to get a whole JAG of water, we have to make do with water without fizz. We ask for one more round of margaritas while the young lady is making drinks for another table, and to that we get a sour answer "yes, when I'm done serving the other table" - there are many ways to say "just a minute, I'll be there" - and this is not one of them! Most of the food tasted really good, but it doesn't make up for the lousy (and unindependent) service and the lack of flexibility. We will never come back, that's for sure.

30/03/2025: Ohne Reservierung einen guten Tisch bekommen. Aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Verschiedene Speisen, die alle sehr wohlschmecken. Und Durst muss hier auch niemand leiden...

06/06/2025: After a long time we wanted to try again, the first time pictures were taken of us and sent among the waiter's friends but the waiter no longer works there so we wanted to try again we didn't get the right food we had ordered and the food was freezing cold, the food didn't taste good at all. We think the food is of such poor quality and the service is terrible that we simply won't come again it's over. Regarding ice cream My boyfriend is extremely dissatisfied with their ice cream department you don't get much for your money, the quality is poor and it's just as expensive as if you went to the harbor in Sønderborg and got an ice cream where the size of the ice cream is even bigger.

04/04/2025: I dropped in here for a quick lunch. Wanted a frankfurter and a hot dog. The grill house has a nice menu selection - quite a lot of choices. But not many sausages. But they did have a frankfurter and a “ristet hot dog”. It tasted nice. And you are quite alright to stop by for a meal.

09/06/2025: The hotel has no reception, but we have been in contact with the hotel several times, among other things because they rebooked us for another room on the 2nd floor. You get a code for the entrance door and for the room, sent by email and everything worked perfectly. The room was very clean, the breakfast was excellent, but not flashy. So all in all really nice for the price. Kim

09/06/2025: A beautiful hotel in southern Denmark. Ideal as a base for tours to Sønderborg and the island of Als. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I'd be happy to return.
