31/05/2025: Really great food at a great price. Great staff. Definitely recommend. Their version of half a chicken with fries was completely different than I had imagined and instead a great experience. It's a place worth eating!

27/05/2025: Afandi is a great place if you are into authentic Middle Eastern food. The quality is top notch – everything is made from scratch, and the meat is grilled over charcoal, which gives it a delicious, smoky flavor. The menu includes shawarma, skewers, falafel, and even the Iraqi specialty masgouf. The place is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food can also be ordered as takeaway. Clearly one of Fredericia's best places for tasty food!

The food was completely out of the ordinary and the wines were perfectly matched. I would love to come back and recommend everyone to have the same experience. Thank you to the lovely staff. 22/09/2025: Fantastic place and fantastic food and service! We ordered their 5-course menu with wines and we can't find a single bad thing to say about it all! The food was really good and exciting, the service was top notch and the restaurant itself and the view what is not to like? We were glad that we live in a camper right next door - because we were so full and a little drunk that it was nice that we were close to our "home"! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! 🙏🏻❤️

27/10/2025: A VERY Disappointing Stay: Not Recommended for Non-Wedding Guests My second visit to this establishment was unfortunately even worse than the first. . . I think... solidifying my opinion that this venue is not suitable for regular guests and primarily caters to weddings.breakfast was unavailable without notice due to a wedding..a recurring issue that points to consistently poor management. The room itself was an absolute disaster. I was assigned one of the old houses next door rather than the main hotel, which was clearly renovated with the cheapest materials that now all has been broken. The room was disty,dirty, moldy, and reeked of what I can only describe as a foul sewer smell and if you sleep upstairs. The toilet appeared untouched for years, and the floors were uneven with cheap, fake wood which sets up in the summer heat traps you inside being unable to open you dore.... You have to Sleeping with the windows open was a necessity to combat the smell, but then I had to contend with mosquitos due to the lack of screens in all rooms. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. Staff were nowhere to be found, except for the morning when one of the staff just walked in to my room to get cleaning supplies and bedding for the other rooms ,apparently we where the service closet to. The cleaning lady aka (a young student) also was dragging the bags of dirty (or clean) laundry over the gravel from one house to the other. the advertised restaurant online was exclusively for wedding guests. There was no coffee or tea provided in the rooms, only random food from other people in the fridge and some oatmeal. The Wi-Fi was broken and the presence of spiders and insects throughout the place was deeply unsettling. During my previous stay when breakfast was somehow available I found myself working as an unpaid breakfast staff member since nobody was directing it. there was no staff to be found and there were people from a wedding party needing plates..,space to sit and orange juice I just started to get things around and organize breakfast and literally opening the kitchen dores to order staff around because nothing was happening .. Who needs actual hotel staff when you have confused, paying guests ready to pitch in? It's clear that this place is run by what appears to be teenagers in the kitchen with no owner or manager ever present. There's no proper bar or restaurant menu, and the entire experience felt like an utter scam. I have stayed in significantly better Airbnbs for half the price. My -3 rating reflects the consistently terrible experience and the misleading information provided on their website. This establishment should focus solely on weddings, as they clearly cannot accommodate regular guests. A major issue was the lack of communication regarding breakfast. Guests should have been notified via email that breakfast was unavailable, especially given the hotel's remote location. ​When I tried to speak to the manager and check out, I was made to wait for ten minutes... The manager then showed no empathy or apology and seemed annoyed by my feedback. This level of service is unacceptable. I expect better communication and a more professional attitude from the staff. Avoid this hotel not worth your money, a scam

19/10/2025: I have rarely experienced anything as unpleasant as my visit here. The staff were downright rude, arrogant and completely devoid of any understanding of common respect or customer service. I was met with a discriminatory and condescending attitude that made the whole experience both embarrassing and shocking. It was clear that they have no interest in helping customers or treating people properly. Ignorant comments, dismissive body language and a general air of indifference – this was unfortunately the whole experience. I have never felt so poorly treated anywhere and I would strongly advise against anyone coming here. There are many other places where you are treated with respect and professionalism – this is not one of them.

30/09/2025: Wow, I’ve had a lot of fried chickens in my life but this place blew my mind off!! Hands down the best of the best tasting fried chickens ever. The guy who works at the cashier is also very friendly and helpful!

19/11/2024: A WoW experience 💐Located at the marina. An ambience that couldn't be more appropriate. A clear menu that offers something for everyone. The food is incredibly tasty and sufficient. The staff trained and educated. We'll definitely be back.

29/06/2025: Normally when I buy your food it is 5/5 but this time when I bought your sausages they were a little burnt and you could clearly taste it and it's a bit of a shame since we go all out to get such good sausages.

10/10/2025: I ate here with my family and we all got food poisoning after the meal. The food looked fresh but turned out to be spoiled. I have been feeling very bad for two days because of this. If I could I would not even give one star. Think about the fact that children come to eat here and they can get poisoned by the food. It was a very unpleasant experience and I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves their hygiene and quality. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

11/09/2025: We had a fish platter with various fish (at least 7 varieties) and a large roll with shrimp (unfortunately, they only had one left). It was really delicious, and our protein needs were covered for a week 😋. The saleswoman was very nice; we couldn't decide right away, the selection was huge. We would have taken more, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible without a cooler bag.

28/08/2025: Fantastic food for 60 people, oysters, shrimp, fish fillets, crab claws and salmon. Everything perfect and at a reasonable price.

09/08/2025: The pizzas are good and large, ready on time and the employees are friendly.

21/06/2025: The food took a lot longer than the service said. It was busy and you could see it in the food. The Mexican roll was great, the three regular rolls were below average.
