11/10/2026: Absolutely classy with an innovative approach to open sandwiches, top-notch knowledge and service. Lots of good wine to choose from. I've probably been there +10 times and they never disappoint. Definitely recommended if you want to treat yourself or others.

18/09/2026: A wonderful breakfast café... a warm, attentive, and very friendly welcome and service, great recommendations for food choices. We each ordered two dishes and a dessert with French press coffee and an aquavit each... great beer from local breweries... the entire menu was so delicious and beautifully presented/served... our recommendations: dyrlaegens natmad, herresild, potato bread, puff pastry pie with chicken and asparagus, and the wonderful kiksekage... and many Danes, also enjoying themselves... and the prices were perfectly reasonable... the decor and furnishings of the café are beautifully nostalgic... it's great that places like this exist here...

03/10/2026: Unfortunately no dogs allowed inside but they were really nice and prepared us everything to go (we wanted to sit in the sun and it was too early for sun on the outdoor terrace). The avocado bread was great and coffee tasted good :) we had an apple cake also.

15/08/2026: After a day at Legoland, we had delicious pizzas at Mary's Pizza on the way back! The pizzas were ready quickly. The staff was very friendly.

09/08/2026: A classic case of "don't be fooled by first impressions." From the outside, Mary's Pizza is extremely unassuming and barely recognizable as a restaurant. If the existing Google reviews hadn't been so positive, we definitely would have driven on – which, in hindsight, would have been a big mistake. The staff on-site were exceptionally friendly. We ordered three pizzas and a cheeseburger with fries. Everything was of very high quality and tasted fantastic. Constructive tips for your visit: First impression: Don't be put off by the uninviting exterior. The food inside more than makes up for the building's appearance. Seating: The restaurant is primarily designed for delivery and pickup. There are very few tables on-site. So, be prepared to simply take your food to go if necessary. Highly recommended.

01/09/2026: Thank you so much for this wonderful stay with you 🫶 We stayed two nights with three campervans at this campsite. Electricity, showers, and toilets were available and spotlessly clean. We also booked the breakfast and dinner offered there, and we can only say... it was absolutely fantastic 🔨🔨🔨!!!! So much love and care went into everything, from the decor in the dining room to the grounds. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!!! I hope I can make it back to this wonderful place from Carinthia sometime.

28/08/2026: We were guests at Merethe's on August 19, 2026, and we will never forget that day. We were there in our campervan and booked a delicious dinner and breakfast. But it wasn't just a meal; it was an experience. Guests and hosts all sat together. It didn't matter what nationality you were, especially since the hostess seemed to speak every language. Merethe, Kristin, and their lovely family create an incredible sense of comfort. Dogs are also welcome. Thank you so much for the unforgettable evening!

27/09/2026: The buffet was fantastic, a great selection, very good. All the dishes were explained beforehand. Very good quality and very friendly staff. Highly recommended. I would go back anytime. A visit is worthwhile. Very authentic.

27/09/2026: We wanted to eat there, but unfortunately it didn't work out. We were told to wait 50 minutes even though there were still tables available. Maybe next time.

03/09/2026: Had lunch here. My wife raves about the platter (herring, salmon, ham, cheese and cake). The bread and homemade chips in particular were a hit). I made the safe choice, a lunch steak. I would like to highlight the fries, they were really good. A really cute serving. A little nervous, but if there was something she couldn't answer, she went for the answer. Definitely recommended?

09/08/2026: My guide to eating here: 26/8 Edit: it is now possible to pay with card - yeah! Bring cash - if you cannot pay with Mobile Pay. Don’t be fooled by the slightly unfortunate pictures of the food. It’s bad pictures with good food, not the other way around. Order a burger AND some fries. The fries are too good to skip. Order wisely: even the smallest burger has a lot of meat. Grab yourself a drink from the fridge. Make ample use of the napkin. You will need it. Use your cutlery. This is not a hands on burger. Wash your hands, the bathroom is nice and clean. Repeat. We stumbled upon Amelie’s Burger while searching for dinner. I was surprised to see such a good rating for a burger shop in Faaborg, of all sorts. However, the food is excellent. The burger meat has not been frozen, so the patties are fresh and juicy. You cannot compare that to the dry, grey matter that you get elsewhere. Burger buns are toasted and fresh, they go along very nicely with the meat. The burger is a good combination of different flavors. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. The atmosphere is not particularly stylish, but inviting and clean. Definitely a gem in such a small town. Be sure to visit this place!

09/08/2026: Amelies Burgers is the place to be if you're in the mood for a delicious burger. The staff spoke good English since I don't speak a word of Danish. The food was carefully prepared and well served. I ordered number 8 at the counter (Chicken Burger menu). The food was served quickly at the table. The chicken burger was delicious; a good, tender chicken breast burger, good flavorful bacon, and fresh vegetables. With plenty of homemade sauce. The fries were a bit too salty in my opinion, but otherwise tasted very good, golden brown and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We sat comfortably inside as a group; the atmosphere was cozy and there was nice decor. So if you are ever in the area and are in the mood for a good burger, you should definitely stop by.

17/09/2026: We (2 adults, one child (one year old) plus dog) were at the restaurant today and were absolutely thrilled. First of all, the waiter was like something you'd find in a 5-star restaurant, giving us excellent advice and fulfilling every extra request. We had the carpaccio and two burgers, and I had one of the best beers I've ever had. The carpaccio was perfect in taste, and the side dishes were unique. You won't find better burgers anywhere in Denmark. Plus, the buns were gluten-free. The beer is (indeed) only available there, as it's the owner's own recipe. Highly recommended, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. We sat outside with the dog under the covered terrace. Our dog was given his own water bowl within seconds, without us even having to ask. Truly fantastic service and amazing food!

13/09/2026: We haven't eaten this well in a long time. The service was excellent and the food absolutely divine. We will come back on our next trip to Denmark!

10/09/2026: The beach at what is probably the most-posted bend in Denmark's road north has a large beach car park and a café. The crossing itself is easy to manage, and the beach beyond is very spacious and beautiful.

04/09/2026: A real hidden gem! A very quiet little café with a charming interior. Tucked away in a side street; outdoor seating available. A selection of cakes and pastries, as well as waffles and light hot dishes. Very friendly service. Highlight: You get to smell the tea first to make sure you choose the right one! 😍💕

09/09/2026: Saeb Siam looks like a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine with fresh, quality ingredients. The menu offers delicious choices such as homemade Pad Thai, fragrant Green and Massaman Curries, spicy Tom Yum soup, and flavorful chicken satay with warm peanut sauce. There are also plenty of options for vegetables, tofu, chicken, beef and prawns, making it easy to find something for everyone. The homemade coconut pancakes, fried bananas and mochi ice cream sound like a delightful way to finish the meal. Overall, Saeb Siam offers a tempting and authentic Thai dining experience.

06/09/2026: Second time in three weeks we visit the restaurant, so authentic, delicious ingredients, good service! Worth a visit, also for children.
