10/06/2026: A truly sublime dining experience. Best recommendations from here.

03/06/2026: HOS in Odense gets my clear recommendation. We called on the day and were able to get a table outside a little over an hour after we called. The table was ready when we arrived and we were warmly welcomed by one of the waiters. We were 6 guests that day. 4 of us ordered starfish, one of which ordered gluten-free. The starfish were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The dish included cod roe, which was a delicious interpretation of the classic starfish. The last two ordered open sandwiches, which were also extremely tasty. If we go to Odense again, there is no doubt where to enjoy lunch.

17/07/2026: A fantastic beach with fine sand and beautiful dunes! The café by the dunes offers delicious ice cream and great fries! The free parking lot has plenty of spaces!

26/07/2026: After frequenting the whole country for a number of years, my search for the PERFECT shooting star has finally concluded. Café Danmarks is not the biggest or most visually spectacular, but it is definitely the best!!! Both fish were prepared so satisfyingly that even the most jaded hellrup types would make the sign of the cross after every bite and send a thank you to the heavens - Because this creation is truly a revelation. PS. My picture does it no justice. Order and thank me later ;-)

31/07/2026: I enjoyed the most delicious blueberry cake with skyr cream 🤤 and it was truly not sweet but refreshing 👌 thank you so much 🤗 And I immediately joined the surprise dinner the next evening. Simply delicious and a heartfelt thank you for this wonderful evening 🤤🤤👍👍👌

11/07/2026: We had another wonderful experience here. After calling to ask whether there was still a spot available, we were welcomed very warmly. Merethe prepared a delicious dinner and showed not only what a fantastic cook she is, but also what a warm, hospitable and attentive hostess she is. Coincidentally, it was my birthday that day, and she responded to that in a very lovely way with streamers and extra attention. That made it truly special. The location is also beautiful and atmospheric. We thought the shared dinner with the other guests was a great added value. It is a wonderful opportunity to exchange experiences and travel stories with people from different countries. Thank you so much, Merethe, for your warm welcome and hospitality. We will definitely come back again!

23/07/2026: If I could only give 5 stars, I would give 10. Are you in Sønderborg and do you like Indian food? So, really authentic Indian food with lots of flavor, spices and love in the pots, then you should visit Curry Leaves. My husband had tried the place about a month ago with his partner, so when the chance arose, and our family tour took us past Als, among other places, there was no doubt where we should eat. We chose à la carte with both a starter and a main course for all four of us, and no one left disappointed. The starters were too wild and a true explosion of flavor. Before the main courses were served, we even got a small taste test so we could assess whether the strength was just right, or if the dish needed to be adjusted. It is service and thoughtfulness that can be felt. And then the main courses arrived… There was really a lot of food, and we simply couldn't finish it, even though we really wanted to. The kids are still pretty new to Indian cuisine, but they were crazy about their butter chicken. The rest of us had chosen some of the stronger dishes, and there was definitely a lot of spice in them. But the strength in no way overpowered the many spices and flavor nuances. It was strong in exactly the right way and not just strong for the sake of being strong. It is without a doubt the best Indian food I have ever had in Denmark, and that is quite a lot! We didn't try the buffet, but their à la carte and you won't regret it 😉 Welcome 😉

23/07/2026: We first went there when Curry Leaves had just opened. That was twelve years ago, and we're just as enthusiastic about it today as we were then! Every summer, we plan our sailing trip so that we stop in Sonderborg to eat at Curry Leaves. High quality, truly authentic dishes, superbly spiced, and very friendly service. The hostess is an angel! We recommend choosing the buffet; this is explained so that guests unfamiliar with Indian cuisine can easily find their way around. I sincerely hope this unique restaurant will be around for a long time to come!

03/07/2026: We were here today and were absolutely delighted. The café is beautifully decorated, and both the cozy interior and the lovingly designed garden are perfect for relaxing. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and courteous. We were especially pleased that they even spoke German. This made us feel welcome immediately. The food was excellent and prepared with great care. We were particularly impressed by the bread and the lemonade. We had the impression that both were homemade, and they tasted simply fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable visit. We would come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this café!

The service is fast and accurate Very nice and family atmosphere I can only recommend it to everyone one of the best hamburgers I have eaten I have been to many countries and tried but this was one of the best so far

09/06/2026: We celebrated my mother Jytte's 80th birthday in May 2026 and we have never experienced a more pleasant, present and caring service. All considerations were taken into account - both in terms of walking difficulties and gluten allergy. The food was fantastic and the service was as well. My mother is already dreaming of coming back….🤩🤩 What a fantastic place ❤️❤️❤️

30/05/2026: It arrived perfectly toasted – the bread was perfectly crunchy without being dry, and the sausage was just right on the crispy side. Fresh raw meat, remo and mustard were sitting right in the cupboard. Delivery was fast, and it was still warm at the door. It's classic quail-height garbage at its best. 10/10 – will definitely order again on a lazy day

10/07/2026: Saw reviews of this place and was curious. We stopped for a coffee and we were blown away! We had the cardamom swirl, cinnamon snail and banana bread with mocha cream and salted cola cream, magical! The coffee was also fantastic! A plus was that they had small bites to taste of different pastries for all of us with decision anxiety before everything delicious 😊
