14/08/2026: Perfect, exquisite culinary experience.

02/08/2026: We dined at HOS Restaurant last night and were absolutely delighted. The food was outstanding – fresh, perfectly balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. It's clear they place great emphasis on quality and excellent ingredients. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm without being intrusive. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, allowing us to fully enjoy our evening. It was definitely one of the best dining experiences of our stay. We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend HOS Restaurant!

30/08/2026: A typical Danish spot with tasteful decor. The dishes are authentically Danish and excellent. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are essential. Worth discovering. P.S.: The schnapps is excellent.

16/08/2026: Wow, fantastic place! Really good experience in Esbjerg's oldest restaurant, which is nicely decorated, has nice waiters and makes super good classic smørrebrød. Not least their shooting stars as seen here, it's the best I've tasted. Thank you very much for the food. 😋😍

23/08/2026: During our holiday in Denmark, I visited Nymindegab Beach with a friend. We really enjoyed the beach and had a great time there. The expansive coastline and the dunes are particularly beautiful. It's a wonderful place to walk along the beach, enjoy the North Sea, or simply relax for a while. The dunes add to the lovely atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit, especially when the weather is nice. For us, it was a great day trip during our holiday and definitely worth a visit.

01/09/2026: Thank you so much for this wonderful stay with you 🫶 We stayed two nights with three campervans at this campsite. Electricity, showers, and toilets were available and spotlessly clean. We also booked the breakfast and dinner offered there, and we can only say... it was absolutely fantastic 🔨🔨🔨!!!! So much love and care went into everything, from the decor in the dining room to the grounds. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!!! I hope I can make it back to this wonderful place from Carinthia sometime.

28/08/2026: What a wonderful place! ❤️ We spent last weekend at Café Gammelby and felt completely at ease and welcome from the very first moment. It's truly impressive how much heart and soul the two owners put into running their café and organizing everything themselves. It's incredibly cozy, lovingly decorated, and has a very special atmosphere – you arrive and immediately feel a bit like you're at home. And then, of course, there are the two super cute dogs 🐾❤️, who are just as warm and relaxed – with both people and other animals. If you're looking for a really beautiful campervan site or special accommodation with a personal and welcoming atmosphere in Denmark, this is the perfect place. We couldn't have wished for a better spot for our weekend. A heartfelt recommendation – we'll definitely be back! 🇩🇰❤️

19/08/2026: Review We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and can highly recommend it! We were welcomed incredibly warmly, and even though we had not made a reservation, they were still able to find us a table. We chose the buffet and mentioned that we are vegan. We were kindly informed that it would have been better to let them know in advance, but the staff were still extremely helpful and knowledgeable about which dishes were vegan. What really stood out was how attentive and accommodating they were: one of the staff members even brought us some special vegan chutneys to our table that were not part of the regular buffet. We genuinely felt very well looked after and almost like special guests. The service was exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive, and the food was delicious. A big thank you to the entire team for making our evening so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant — especially to anyone looking for great vegan options and genuinely warm hospitality!

03/07/2026: We were here today and were absolutely delighted. The café is beautifully decorated, and both the cozy interior and the lovingly designed garden are perfect for relaxing. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and courteous. We were especially pleased that they even spoke German. This made us feel welcome immediately. The food was excellent and prepared with great care. We were particularly impressed by the bread and the lemonade. We had the impression that both were homemade, and they tasted simply fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable visit. We would come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this café!

09/08/2026: Amelies Burgers is the place to be if you're in the mood for a delicious burger. The staff spoke good English since I don't speak a word of Danish. The food was carefully prepared and well served. I ordered number 8 at the counter (Chicken Burger menu). The food was served quickly at the table. The chicken burger was delicious; a good, tender chicken breast burger, good flavorful bacon, and fresh vegetables. With plenty of homemade sauce. The fries were a bit too salty in my opinion, but otherwise tasted very good, golden brown and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We sat comfortably inside as a group; the atmosphere was cozy and there was nice decor. So if you are ever in the area and are in the mood for a good burger, you should definitely stop by.

09/08/2026: My guide to eating here: 26/8 Edit: it is now possible to pay with card - yeah! Bring cash - if you cannot pay with Mobile Pay. Don’t be fooled by the slightly unfortunate pictures of the food. It’s bad pictures with good food, not the other way around. Order a burger AND some fries. The fries are too good to skip. Order wisely: even the smallest burger has a lot of meat. Grab yourself a drink from the fridge. Make ample use of the napkin. You will need it. Use your cutlery. This is not a hands on burger. Wash your hands, the bathroom is nice and clean. Repeat. We stumbled upon Amelie’s Burger while searching for dinner. I was surprised to see such a good rating for a burger shop in Faaborg, of all sorts. However, the food is excellent. The burger meat has not been frozen, so the patties are fresh and juicy. You cannot compare that to the dry, grey matter that you get elsewhere. Burger buns are toasted and fresh, they go along very nicely with the meat. The burger is a good combination of different flavors. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. The atmosphere is not particularly stylish, but inviting and clean. Definitely a gem in such a small town. Be sure to visit this place!

14/08/2026: Very nice; very good food: fresh white fish (= cod) with delicious vegetables and roasted potatoes, garnished with pea shoots (I love this herb...). As an "amuse-bouche," dark whole-grain crackers reminiscent of "Fincrisp," with a tasty dip. I thoroughly enjoyed being a guest there; the staff is incredibly friendly.

09/06/2026: We celebrated my mother Jytte's 80th birthday in May 2026 and we have never experienced a more pleasant, present and caring service. All considerations were taken into account - both in terms of walking difficulties and gluten allergy. The food was fantastic and the service was as well. My mother is already dreaming of coming back….🤩🤩 What a fantastic place ❤️❤️❤️

31/05/2026: An absolute gem on beautiful Fanø. An old "lady" that has been brought into the present day with utmost care and attention to detail during a thorough restoration in 2019/20.

25/07/2026: The best of its kind in Denmark outside Copenhagen. They serve a unique combination of Arabic and Danish classics, such as shawarma and beef sandwich with brown sauce. Everything is halal, so the hotdog is made with beef sausages. The meat and other ingredients are all of good quality.

21/07/2026: Good food, good atmosphere and good service. Everything as it should be, I couldn't be more satisfied :)
