22/12/2025: Fast service. But despite joking that we wanted the food delivered hot (have previously received cold food). The staff said that our food was freshly made and therefore hot. With about 3 minutes of driving home, the food was already cold when it was supposed to be eaten.

21/12/2025: After a trip to Ribe, we stopped by Burger King. My wife ordered an Ultimate Cheddar Beef without pickles, but when it was delivered to our table, there were pickles in it. The note on the packaging and on the receipt said no pickles, so it was just a mistake, it can happen. Went up to a young lady at the cashier, showed her the receipt and the note as well as the burger and asked if we could have a new one. However, she seemed like she either had a huge hangover or didn't care about her job at all. You could almost hear her rolling her eyes. From our seat we could see how she only threw the paper in the trash, which we joked about was strange. Got a newly wrapped Ultimate Cheddar Beef delivered again, but completely cold and with clear traces of pickles in the cheese, so they had just taken them out of the same burger and given it new paper... Goes up again to the rude young lady and shows her the clear traces of pickles in the burger she just had. She stood there paralyzed for 5 seconds before I said we should have a new burger, not the same one. Had to stand there and watch her throw it in the trash and they made a new one. The new burger was rushed together, despite the fact that there was certainly no rush in any way, so nothing in it was hot, the bacon had not been heated to the bright red color and the cheese had not been melted at all - but without pickles. There was probably just one adult missing from work that day.

22/08/2025: The food is very tasty and, by Danish standards, reasonably priced. The ambiance is a bit dated, but everything is clean and tidy; in Berlin, you'd call it retro style. Only the service was spotty. The cashier couldn't hide her constant eye roll as the menus grew longer and heavier, and she made no effort to prevent it. She then silently handed over to a colleague in the middle of the ordering process. However, the deal went smoothly with her.

03/01/2026: I would highly recommend Epdrups Bakery, their cakes taste fantastic, our favorite is the 3 sourdough breads you can choose from, in addition to that they have won 2nd place in the Danish rye bread competition and it is fully deserved!

16/12/2025: We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at the inn. It was a fantastic experience with really good service from fresh waiters. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of it, Our guests spent almost too much time talking about how good it was.

02/03/2026: Got their cheese board they run on Tuesdays. There was a good selection of cheeses and sides. A great concept at a good price.

19/10/2025: Great course at a good price. Pitch 1 is a bit too easy, but it's easy to get in this way. Very hilly with a beautiful view.

18/11/2025: As you approach the hotel complex, it quickly becomes clear that this place is something special. The beautiful historic estate sits on the fjord hillside, offering a stunning view over lush, wide meadows. You are welcomed very warmly, and the staff throughout the entire hotel is incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The hotel interior is surprisingly modern, not nearly as lavish as I expected. The spa is definitely worth recommending—there is nothing missing. There are lovely outdoor pools, and even in that area you are well taken care of with drinks and everything you need. The hotel’s gym is also exceptional: very modern equipment, clean, and overall excellent. However, I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with the hotel room. We had booked an expensive room with a fjord view and a balcony—both of which were indeed beautiful. But the room itself, in terms of furnishings, did not meet the standard of an average city hotel and only offered basic amenities. There were not even any cold drinks available, very limited storage space, no sound system, little thoughtful furnishing, and an unattractive brown carpet. The room did not feel premium, and this could certainly be improved. Another constructive point of criticism is the large number of additional paid services. For example, at breakfast you had to pay extra for a cappuccino, and there was no staff going around to offer coffee refills. You really had to get everything yourself, which I honestly find disappointing for a hotel of this class and price

04/12/2025: If you love sandwiches that mostly consist of bread and a little dressing. Then this is the place for you. The cakes are nice enough, but for the price of a sandwich, you'll be a little disappointed when there's more filling in it from Brugsen right across the street for a fraction of the price. :) The husband got a chocolate bun, it was dry and sad.
