09/10/2025: When you order a Caesar salad you usually know what you're getting.
This doesn't happen at Grand Cafe they should remove it from their menu or call it salad head in a bowl.
I said too quickly that there's no chicken in the salad. It comes pretty quickly.
But that it's 2 slaughtered nuggets in a bowl.
Is simply beyond criticism.
Very disappointing experience and as I can see from other reviews which obviously also deal with this Caesar salad, there has been no change
07/09/2025: The cappuccino was very thin. We wondered if there was any coffee in it at all. There's plenty of room for improvement.

Good filling on the pizzas so you don't get cheated.
Definitely a place we will visit again.
(Not happy that you have to pay 4 kr to be allowed to order food, and delivery is too expensive) I personally would also like to see a little more cheese on the pizzas.

Hanzo Esbjerg is one of my favorite restaurants.
We chose the 10 dishes to share on the table, and were completely full.
Good food, with lots of flavor. Several surprises that we are not used to at home in our kitchen.
08/07/2025: Ordered their Tuesday feast but was quickly disappointed with the selection. There were far from enough salads and not enough drinks in the ad libitum drinks. For the price the wines were not good :(
I can understand the poor selection due to the price, but maybe the restaurant is just not suitable for a buffet?
The restaurant was a bit packed, which also made the buffet part difficult.
The waiters were nice and good at their job - however, they came around a bit too much instead of letting people enjoy their meals

06/09/2025: Great hotel and fantastic restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean, though a bit warm, which seems to be the trend for most hotels these days. Fortunately, the window opens wide. There was also ample parking. The restaurant was fantastic. Beautifully presented, and everything on the plate was delicious. The dessert was surprisingly well-made and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended for a stopover or for dinner alone.

Very small rooms, but most likely this is the norm for the country.
Responsive and friendly hotel staff.

10/09/2025: Four of us went there without a reservation and got a great table right away. The food was excellent and the service very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended,... top restaurant.
09/09/2025: Excellent restaurant. However, it reminds me a little more of a community center, where the tables are set for a party. It lacks a little "coziness and soul". But the staff was nice and welcoming. And the food was good.

21/08/2025: There's a large selection of sweet pancakes, but unfortunately only three savory options and no vegetarian options. While it was possible to opt out of the meat, more choice would have been nice.
We ate three savory pancakes, which tasted okay but were nothing special. The portion was sufficient for a snack, but rather too small for a full meal, and at around €18, they were unfortunately overpriced.
