29/09/2025: The Sundhalle is popular with local Danes, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds for larger groups. The atmosphere is great.

03/02/2026: A really positive experience!!! The place was well-attended and the food was tasty and there was a lot to choose from in terms of meat, salad, fish, bread, soup, dressing, sauce and desserts etc. Nice young people serving and there was a good atmosphere. However, I think they could find a better solution in terms of the queue for the meat. I stood in one queue for 10 minutes and then was told I had to move to the other queue because I wanted beef and I waited another 10 minutes.

11/12/2025: From the moment we first stepped through the door of Stella Maris, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding. The entire venue is breathtakingly beautiful – exclusive in a quiet, understated way – and at the same time imbued with a sense of homeliness and relaxation. A combination that made us immediately feel in safe hands and could see ourselves celebrating our big day right there. One of the biggest reasons for this security was the restaurant manager, Charlotte, who from the first meeting was nothing short of fantastic. She was ready with solutions to everything – and if, contrary to all expectations, she hadn’t answered right away, it wasn’t long before she found one. Her commitment, proactivity and dedication were both touching and reassuring. We never felt like we were just another wedding in a row; Charlotte approached the task with the same zeal, excitement and warmth as ourselves. It made all the difference. And then there was the food, which was absolutely amazing. We knew in advance that the level was high, but we were still blown away once again. The gastronomic level is absolutely top class. We had chosen to give the kitchen almost free rein, with just a few ingredients and preferences mentioned – and they managed to incorporate them in the most elegant and tasty way. The entire team around Stella Maris also deserves great praise. From the chefs, the waiters and to the sweet women at the reception to – yes, even the director who stood behind the bar and shook drinks after the wedding waltz. Everyone was welcoming, professional and full of genuine joy on our behalf. You can feel their pride and professionalism in everything they do. And the warmth and attention they showed both before, during and after the wedding made our day even more memorable. We can only give our warmest recommendation to anyone considering holding their next big party at Stella Maris. It was a party that exceeded our own dreams and expectations – and that both our guests and ourselves still like to remember and talk about happily.🤍

03/08/2025: Stella Maris is a fantastic experience from start to finish – with lovely facilities right down to the water and a view that will almost take your breath away. The restaurant serves top-class food, where both taste and detail are spot on. And the staff is so service-minded that you feel like something special all the way through. An experience you will remember – and want to repeat.

21/10/2025: There is no doubt that there is a lot of knowledge behind the talk when you shop at Laboratoriet in Nyborg. There is also a really cozy atmosphere.

11/12/2025: We were there at 2 pm and had a very good meal. Everything in the restaurant was very pleasant, with real candles on the table and fresh flowers. The restrooms were clean and fully equipped (accessible toilet, changing table, air freshener, flowers, and scented candles)... I'd gladly come back again... Thanks! Just visited again during the pre-Christmas season... 👍

04/12/2025: The restaurant was recommended by the hotel; great atmosphere, friendly staff. At that late hour, there were only three dishes left to choose from, but that wasn't a problem, the dishes were excellent 👍

24/02/2026: Delicious pizzas, always a consistent, high standard (with very few exceptions when a new chef is being replaced or brought in). I've been coming there since 1991, so at the time of writing, almost 35 years!

16/02/2026: Took the special of the month For 135 kr it was pure pleasure and enjoyment. We left happy and full.

28/10/2025: a pub, friendly barman, local people having a beer and enjoying evening over here. excessive selection of draft beers including local/danish.

09/12/2025: Had an overnight stay in Kolding, and needed healthy and delicious food. Took falafel salad, and bought a pita bread for 15 kr. It tasted SO good!! 😋 Crispy falafel, fried cauliflower, green lentils, marinated cabbage, hummus and a lot of other things. And delicious dressing. Really good concept!

15/11/2025: Best lunch in town 🤩 However, the new menu may be a bit too mild in taste, doesn't taste as much as before? Healthiest place in town, love it. You can also order their food through Wolt.

15/01/2026: Really good pizzas and fries, and their prices are cheaper than the other pizzerias in town

26/11/2025: There were two of us out on a Wednesday night, and it was truly a pleasure. The hostess was busy, but in an inspiringly dedicated way. When things calmed down, there was presence and good conversation. I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this sensual food and truthful atmosphere. Thank you for that.

09/11/2025: Best service and food in Svendborg

03/03/2026: An extremely disappointing experience, where we were both treated poorly and outright cheated. We were 3 adults and 1 child who came to celebrate a birthday and take advantage of their offer “Eat for 1 kr. on your birthday – min. 4 people”. Two of us had birthdays on the same day, but the restaurant refused to give the offer to both of us, even though their campaign nowhere says that it only applies to one person per table. This is misleading marketing and a clear abuse of their own rules. In addition, our little sister was counted as an adult, even though she is clearly not. This was done solely to increase the price, and it is both dishonest and direct manipulation of the customer. The service from the young woman who served us was equally poor. She showed: no respect no kindness no willingness to help a significantly different and worse treatment of us compared to the other tables It felt like our table was treated as an annoyance, while other guests received smiles, explanations and completely different service. The manager then tried to cheat with the price, even though the offer should have significantly reduced the bill. Not a single argument we made was taken seriously. To top it off, the salmon was clearly old in taste and texture, which is directly unacceptable when serving raw fish. It is a food safety issue and potentially harmful to health. Overall: Cheating and manipulation with prices Incorrect handling of birthday offer Poor and disrespectful service Child considered as an adult to earn more Serving old raw fish Manager avoiding responsibility This is not just a bad experience, it is a restaurant that deliberately breaks the rules and exploits customers. We will never return, and the case will be taken further, as both the Marketing Act, price information regulations and food safety have been violated. Update Before, it said “persons” in the birthday offer – now it has been changed to “adults”. The wording was clearly changed after we left the restaurant. It said “persons” when we were there, now it says “adults”. The way they change the terms afterwards is frivolous. That may be part of the explanation why the place is always empty.

04/01/2026: I’ve been to Niso Sushi in Sønderborg many times, and I really like it. The sushi is fresh and tasty, and the snacks are great too. Definitely my favorite sushi place here. 🍣🤍

10/01/2026: Super cozy little cafe, games, comics, and books available. The man is super nice, and the service is top notch. We will be back.

19/10/2025: The highlight of our vacation so far. The burgers (we tried them all) are incredibly delicious, the café has a great atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back.
