22/11/2025: If you are in Nyborg, Gertz bakery is a must🥳 - Every time we are on Funen we have to stop here to "Shop amok" in their wonderful bread and cakes. Their Brunsvigere cake and the old-fashioned Sønderjysk Ryugbrød are always a hit. Right now there are the most delicious brown cakes and Honey cakes to take home. They also make the most delicious lunch sandwiches, so do yourself a favor - make a stop in Nyborg to visit Gertz. I wish it was in Frederiksberg🤗
06/11/2025: Extremely delicious rolls and other pastries that you don't find just anywhere. Best cinnamon roll I've ever had. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: We had our Wedding dinner at Rafaels, they have an awesome private room below. We met with the owner the day before who was great, asked us what we wanted and when we got there had the table set perfectly! All of our guests really loved the food and the drinks. It was a great event for all of us! Highly recommend for any larger events.
19/09/2025: What a wonderful restaurant! Very cozy and typically Italian. We've been everywhere, but this one is our favorite! Thanks for the delicious pizzas!

12/03/2026: I was there with my girlfriend. Madeb was cold and when we told them they didn't care. They were more busy talking in their own language and standing with their mobile. This is the second time we've been there. Don't believe it will get better within the next 3 months.
01/03/2026: have come all the way from Copenhagen to Vejle – and I'll say it straight: Gade Grillen delivers.
The food was fresh, hot and cooked properly. The meat was juicy, crispy where it should be, and the taste was just right.
-5 stars from here.

11/10/2025: Despite high demand and no reservation, we managed to get a table for three. There was a German menu, and the wait staff also spoke quite good German. This is mostly possible in Denmark, but not a given. We'd be happy to come back.

16/01/2026: We just had hot chocolate but the cafe was really nice and the view of the sea spectacular. They permit pets and the atmosphere is really welcoming.

Price is really cheap compared to the offer. All you can drink is not an expected feature, which probably explains the 3 month waiting list.
Lower end of fine dining
