11/01/2026: As always a fantastic experience. The food is of the highest quality. The service is the same and when those two things work together the atmosphere is always top notch!

22/11/2025: If you are in Nyborg, Gertz bakery is a must🥳 - Every time we are on Funen we have to stop here to "Shop amok" in their wonderful bread and cakes. Their Brunsvigere cake and the old-fashioned Sønderjysk Ryugbrød are always a hit. Right now there are the most delicious brown cakes and Honey cakes to take home. They also make the most delicious lunch sandwiches, so do yourself a favor - make a stop in Nyborg to visit Gertz. I wish it was in Frederiksberg🤗

04/01/2026: What am I doing here, why do we come here again and again? It's a 2 hour drive, it'll be the last time! THEN THE FIRST BITE COMES INTO THE MOUTH. Damn, now I know why we come here and it's so very specific, too few times. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, the atmosphere sublime. 12/01/2026: I had a chicken wrap at a Gadegrillen in Vejle, and honestly: it had no right to be this good. The wrap bread was perfect – slightly crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. The chicken was juicy, well seasoned and clearly not just thrown in the pan at the last second. There was bite, flavor and heat all the way through.

08/11/2025: It was our first visit to Uncle A today – a completely random stop, driven by a voracious appetite – and it turned out to be a complete experience. The tasty, highly plated finger food was a real treat for both the eyes and the palate, and every bite was marked by care and quality. The service also deserves high praise; the staff were welcoming, genuinely friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Added to this is the cozy and inviting decor, which creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, where you want to stay a little longer. We are already looking forward to our next visit – thank you so much for a wonderful lunch experience!
