01/09/2025: So inconspicuous, we could have easily missed it. We spontaneously asked for a table that evening, and they were able to accommodate us for a three-course meal. A fantastic young team, attentive without being intrusive, explained each course (in English upon request, and sometimes in German). The food was really good. It's a bit pricey, but in our opinion, it's worth every penny. We'll definitely be back!

03/08/2025: When we visited the restaurant 2 years ago, it was really good, and since then it has only gotten better! Beautifully decorated on the 1st floor with a view of the harbor and friendly staff. We started with a glass of champagne and snacks on the cozy veranda and then we went inside for a three-course menu, to which we ordered a fl. pinot noir. The starter consisted of pan-fried hake with cauliflower mousse and soy-ginger sauce. Some of the best I have ever tasted. Then tender and perfectly roasted veal with cabbage and new potatoes. Lovely taste and bite in the cabbage. Finished with raspberry pie with vanilla cream and sorbet. A lovely evening, where there was time to enjoy and you didn't feel like the table had to be sold again. Thank you for that. I wouldn't be surprised if they were soon included in the Michelin guide.

31/08/2025: We booked a table for the buffet lunch at Madkaelderen last weekend and had a great experience. The buffet looks small initially, but there were actually so many different dishes to try, just in small quantities that are regularly refreshed to make sure the quality of the food stays high. It was great to try some local dishes and everything was really tasty. The service was fantastic too - the staff were attentive and accommodated all our wishes. They even let us open a bottle of our own champage to raise a toast with, which was really kind of them. I can definitely recommend the buffet lunch for a celebration. It's reasonably priced and the quality of the food is excellent. The atmosphere is well-suited to a special celebration too.

17/08/2025: We visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy some authentic local dishes—and in terms of food, it definitely delivered. The cod was fresh and flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into the dishes, and we were genuinely impressed with the quality and taste of everything we tried. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the service. After a pleasant first course, there was a long wait for the next dishes, which became stressful as we had limited parking time. We politely asked for the rest of the food to come, but the staff member we interacted with—particularly one lady—was noticeably unfriendly. She didn’t smile once during our visit, seemed irritated when we asked questions, and when we thanked her as we left, she didn’t acknowledge it at all…

31/07/2025: Large parking lot, right on the harbor, and a nice outdoor terrace. We chose the all-you-can-eat menu for the whole family. The entire meal was cheaper than in Germany. Orders were placed via tablet, the food always arrived very quickly, and it was delicious and attractively presented. The service was very friendly.

16/07/2025: Vi er kommet på Ho Kro hver eneste sommer de sidste 14 år, og med fem stjerner hver eneste gang, så bliver det samlet set 140 stjerner fra os. Maden, øllet, snapsede, betjeningen og stemningen er altid fænomenal. (Et tip til gæster med børn: medbring en bold, da der er mulighed for boldspil på plænen uden for)

03/09/2025: Hotel Koldingfjord is a truly beautiful place — elegant, serene, and the perfect setting for relaxation and a touch of luxury. The surroundings are peaceful, the atmosphere is calming, and it really feels like a retreat away from the busy pace of life. Our overall experience was wonderful, but we did encounter one small disappointment in the restaurant. While we were enjoying our coffee, one staff member came across as a bit rude, almost as if we were being shooed off to the garden rather than being asked politely. We understood that preparations were underway for a wedding, but as paying guests, we felt we should still have been served properly. That said, aside from this isolated incident, the rest of our stay was excellent. The hotel itself is stunning, the facilities are top-notch, and it’s a place we would still highly recommend for anyone seeking relaxation in a luxurious environment.

31/08/2025: We did not stay at the hotel, but booked a table at Cafe Louise on the terrace for a celebration. We called in advance to organise a cake to have on our arrival. Initially the staff were quite direct on the phone and said we couldn't come for cake as there was another celebration happening. However, eventually they agreed to provide the cake although it was a bit confusing as to what exactly they would provide (cake type, cost etc.). When we arrived, the service was quite poor with no one greeting us or taking us to our table for some time. It also took a while to take our drinks order. However, a delicious cake was provided, and the views were stunning which made up for the poor service.

30/08/2025: A small but very nice restaurant. The people there are super friendly, and the food is delicious. We even had homemade beer. If you're hungry, I highly recommend this gem.

27/08/2025: We can reommend the restaurant without any restrictions. Food was excellent and the service also. The stories as additionals to the meals were great. It was a great evening for ua and we happy that we choose Under Lindetrae for our last dinner in Odense.

28/08/2025: Delicious food, 2 schnitzels, 2 omelettes and a shooting star, drinks were a bit tight with 2 beers and 2 waters being sold out from the menu and table booking was successful without any problems online, although after being reported sold out by phone.

25/08/2025: Simply wonderful...the food is highly recommended, even the kids loved it. I can and must recommend it.

13/08/2025: We had the buffet. For €40 per person, we had a fantastic meal. Lots of fish, lots of choices, everything was delicious, and we didn't get sick. Highly recommended. From here, you can walk through the small harbor, which is a nice sight!
