22/02/2025: Meget dygtigt og venligt personale. Værelset i top: super rent og nyistandsat. Maden perfekt og vinen god. Tjeneren var velinformeret om både vin og mad og serveringen var helt perfekt, morgenmaden blev serveret ved bordet og var også lækker og vellavet.

29/03/2025: We spontaneously rode there from Geesthacht on our motorcycles. Lots of bikers are here, and you can sometimes have to wait in line for 10 minutes. They have many varieties of hot dogs and burgers. The hot dogs are delicious.

22/10/2024: Oh how delicious it was!! We saw this cute café as we drove past and it immediately caught our attention. We had to stop! And we weren't disappointed... After a friendly greeting, our order was taken, which consisted of homemade cake, waffles, cocoa and tea. While we waited for the food and drinks, the kids were able to play and run around in the garden. The lovingly designed garden invites you to sit in the sun. It was also very comfortably furnished inside.

11/03/2025: We have stayed at Christie's many times before. We arrived to a very cold room with dead flies on the floor and on the windowsill. The room on the first floor is worn down and in need of renovation. The floors creak. The beds have seen better days. The food was good - but not quite as good as the other times. We are not into sweet white wine and fruity red wine, so we regretted that we had bought the wine menu. The breakfast was good but definitely not as delicious as the other times. It was also a little cold in the restaurant in the morning.

26/01/2025: I moved to Kolding two years ago, and so far, Arkaden has been the best spot I've discovered in the city to hang out with friends and enjoy a great evening.

22/01/2025: Sehr schöner kleiner Hafen mit sehr guten Restaurant.Inhaber und Bedienung sehr freundlich.Im Hafen liegen auch die sehr guten Boote von Mommark Charterboot welche man für einen erfolgreichen Angeltrip mieten kann.

10/03/2025: It was a lovely couple of hours, with good food, in cozy surroundings. We had Brunch and everything was exciting. Warm dishes, fish, cheese board, desserts and fruit. Located right down to Kvie Sø, which you can stroll around in quiet surroundings. Then there are horses and donkeys that you can see before or after you have eaten. FANTASTIC. WOW

13/02/2025: Return visit to HOS Even though it had been four years since I last stopped by, that piece of chicken salad still stands out in my memory as the best serving of chicken salad I've had. That's why I was looking forward to another lunch at HOS. We had decided to drive off the E20 and take a lunch stop on our trip towards Copenhagen. With six years behind me, I feared that the everyday drumbeat had set in, but let me say it right away: Everything was sharp that Friday, and before I left the table, I was already starting a mental exercise to find a suitable time to pass by Odense again. I was served: Fried cod roe with taramasalata, roasted cabbage & marinated onions Caramelized Jerusalem artichokes with Gammel Knas, hollandaise & truffle Both tasted enchanting and it was impossible to pick a favourite. However, I would say that the cod roe was unusually well balanced, stood sharp and was not overloaded. The rye bread was visible from all four sides and thus came to its full potential – both visually and in terms of taste. I still need to get on board the herring, which is clearly my favorite smørrebrød, but there are spiced schnapps and tempting glances from the beautiful wooden counter. So I surrender when I drop by for a longer stay. HOS stands out for smørrebrød, which rises far above the standard, as well as a super attentive service that shows great professionalism - without losing the relaxed atmosphere. I would also like to mention that there are good chairs, good space between the tables, and that the raw bricks create a slightly cave-like feeling, which all in all contributes to a cozy atmosphere.
