03/09/2026: A Burger King restaurant like any other in the world. My impression was that it's a fairly small restaurant, with four screens for ordering and a few tables and chairs. The burgers were fine and tasted good. The staff, apart from the woman who brought the food to the table, were mostly in the background but nice and friendly. I was a little bothered by the children, who were noisy, running around the restaurant, and screaming a lot, but oh well, that's to be expected. All in all, it was okay...

14/08/2026: The food was really delicious and we were very impressed overall. We had the three-course menu for €93 per person. My morel starter was very tasty, as was the brisket with new potatoes, corn, vegetables, and a rich gravy. I also particularly enjoyed the cheese selection at the end. However, we found the portion sizes to be quite small. Of course, we understand that individual portions are smaller in a multi-course meal. Nevertheless, we weren't actually full after three courses. At this price point, I would have expected a bit more. The cocktails also didn't quite live up to my personal taste, although that's obviously very subjective. What really marred our visit, though, was the service. For a three-course meal at €93, I expect not only good food but also attentive and professional service. Two of the three servers were friendly and pleasant, but overall, they were rather inattentive. For example, after we received our drinks, we weren't asked once if we wanted anything else. Even during the meal, no one asked if everything was alright or if we were enjoying our food. Used dishes were sometimes left on the table for a very long time. We were particularly disappointed by the third server we encountered, who was extremely unfriendly and unapproachable. No smiles, hardly any friendliness, and unfortunately, several things that I find unacceptable, especially in a restaurant of this price range. Plates were passed across the table or handed to the guest instead of being walked around the table and served at the table. Cutlery was placed on a plate on the table instead of being set properly. I found it particularly unpleasant that drinking glasses were handled by the rim – exactly where the guest's mouth would later be. This shouldn't happen, regardless of the price range. We were there with a large group and spent a considerable amount of money. The food was truly delicious, and there's little to criticize there. It's all the more regrettable, then, that the service didn't live up to the quality and price of the food. ... For €93 per person for three courses, I expect attentive, professional, and guest-oriented service. Unfortunately, this was precisely what we lacked that evening. With a significantly better level of service, our overall impression would have been completely different.

10/08/2026: I impulsively invited my husband and daughter for coffee at Høften 4 for the last time, it was a really bad experience and super expensive for a cup of coffee and two iced coffees that tasted of ice and milk. Price 180 kr We sat outside and in the good weather we were in shorts and bikini tops, were told we had to wear a shirt. When we arrived it was a very bad experience, the waiter was not welcoming, we came right in the middle of lunch, so they didn't have time to make coffee. Will never go there again

12/08/2026: I am beyond happy to have tried this restaurant, super cozy atmosphere, polite waiters and the most idyllic food. Can definitely recommend their open sandwiches. It is highly layered and fresh ingredients are nothing to put a finger on.

06/09/2026: We treated ourselves to ice cream, as we do every year. Two scoops with chocolate sauce cost about 7 euros. Although, to be fair, one scoop here in the café would cost about three scoops in Germany 😅 so the price is really okay.

05/09/2026: A must-visit every time we're on the island! Besides the delicious iced coffee, they also offer fantastic hot dishes. Everything is served in generous portions and is absolutely tasty. We've never been disappointed here. We even received a free cup of hot water to warm up baby food. The staff are incredibly friendly and almost all of them speak German, which, while not a deciding factor, is especially helpful for tourists with limited English skills. Of course, it's more expensive than in Germany, as is typical for Denmark, but that's just something you have to expect on vacation. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for little ones, and plenty of high chairs are available. It's also worth mentioning that the ice cream cones are homemade. Soooo delicious!

13/09/2026: It was some good food and it was good

02/09/2026: Unfortunately, we experienced a long wait for many of our ordered plates. And when the food arrived, something was often missing. The staff was very nice and apologetic. When the food finally arrived, our old plates were not always removed from the table without us notifying them Some of the sashimi we got was still frozen. And when we ordered one version of salmon, something else came The food tasted really good and the service was fine, but we ended up spending twice as long in the restaurant as one would expect due to the waiting times before the food was delivered, and when the food did arrive, there were errors/deficiencies that again had a long wait before being corrected. Especially the flambéed salmon was a challenge tonight.

12/08/2026: Had hear and read many promising stories, but vauw we were surprised by the food, the quality, the outstanding service and a fantastic view We have tried many one star restaurants, and 17 is just at a higher level than most,, not only physical but with everything The food was tasteful, small pieces of art, right sized and the service discreet but observant and some of the best we have experienced,, Thanks for an unforgettable experience, the start of our gourmet trip,, now heading for Lyst, Villa Vest and Frederikshøj,, you have something to live up to

07/06/2026: Can only say WAUW!! Absolutely fantastic experience. Everything was well thought out and they took care of all the details. We celebrated a big birthday a few weeks before and of course that was also noticed. The experience started already in the foyer, where a waiter picked us up and we got the first serving in the elevator up. After 5.5 hours we left happy, full and full of impressions with a little goodie bag from Syttende for us. WAUW.

16/09/2026: Decent cakes with fancy decoration made of unedible flowers. Look nice on social media. Quality of the cake is quite good. Staff (young lady) doesnt talk and comes across not very friendly. Cakes and Coffee dropped from a distance without a word on a tablet on the table. Cups and cakes have to be self served. Worst service i have seen in Denmark - quite exceptional!
