06/07/2026: We sat there and ate, and we had spent around 700kr. When we were leaving, we asked for a cardboard cup for the rest of the smoothie for our son. We had to pay 5kr for that…. Would have given the service 0 stars if that were possible.

22/06/2026: We held our daughter's baptism at Børkop Vandmølle and chose the Brunch buffet. The Vandmølle was a very cozy setting and the food was wonderful.

30/06/2026: A simple place to eat. A wide selection of common dishes within the fast food category. Ordered a pizza no. 7 and thought it was very dry, the staff said that they had been busy and that the dough had not been given the necessary rising time (it should have risen for a day before cooking). Toilets for both men and women as well as disabled people are available and are well maintained and clean.

28/06/2026: Yesterday I had a Hawaiian pizza and a small Fanta. The pizza was dry and hard to eat. I make my own delicious pizza, but maybe adding more tomato paste to the dough or cooking at a lower temperature would help. A decent pizza cost 12 euros, enough to fill one person. BUT I was charged 4.25 euros for a small Fanta. It's not worth it. Today I ordered a shawarma (the first one they had in the kebab selection). The meat and lavash were good, but the sauce didn't go well with it. It felt like they just threw some lettuce and sour cream on it. I also didn't like the temperature; I would have liked it warmer. I think if they found a more complementary sauce and heated it up a bit more, it would be wonderful.

27/07/2026: We only ordered coffee. We were greeted very warmly, asked immediately for sugar and milk, and the coffee tasted great (chocolate with it is simply delicious). The young, attractive woman spoke Danish to us, and we spoke German... BUT we had a pleasant conversation and understood each other with hand gestures. Next time we come back to Rømø, we'll have lunch there. Their menu is really appealing!

10/07/2026: Absolutely delicious. Very large portions – perhaps it's best to share one first. There are lovely places to sit under the trees behind and opposite the house.

16/05/2026: Breakfast at Ballebro Færgekro. A very special experience. You are greeted with a smile at the reception, the table is ready, the bread is freshly baked and still warm, egg muffins, pancakes, homemade jam and good stories. Everything is delicious. The view is priceless and the hotel has been restored as if it were brand new and 150 years old. Even on a rainy day you can't help but smile. We will definitely come again.

08/11/2025: We've been coming to Fanø for over 32 years, and our journey always includes a visit to Stoppestedet! Ownership has changed, renovations have taken place, but the fantastic quality of the food has remained constant throughout! Even though the menu has become smaller over time, it's always worth a visit! 👍 And the soft-serve ice cream is the best on the island! 🤩

06/11/2025: We regularly visit Stoppestedet on vacation and have always been very satisfied – good food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. However, we were a bit disappointed on our last visit. The portion was significantly smaller than the day before, even though the price remained the same. When we politely mentioned this, we were told that it was "luck" that the portion had been larger yesterday. Frankly, we found this disappointing – you don't expect that kind of response when you're a regular customer. A few more fries and a bit more onion would have been enough to make up for the difference – it certainly wouldn't have been much effort, but it would have left us happy. It's a shame, because we generally really enjoy eating here. We hope that next time it will be as good as it used to be – then it will definitely be five stars again.

26/07/2026: We had a delicious meal here on the evening of our arrival. We were really in the mood for food and the food tasted amazing. It looked good and met expectations. The staff initially spoke impeccable English, but later turned out to speak very good Dutch—a Dutch person 😁. An extensive menu with many different choices, including meat, fish, pizza, and children's menus. I can highly recommend the beef fillet. The prawns were also good. And the children thoroughly enjoyed their fries and chicken nuggets. Afterwards, we got an ice cream at the adjacent ice cream parlor. We finished off with a walk along the beach. In short, highly recommended.
