08/12/2025: Unfortunately, we have had some really bad experiences with you. The food was boring, and we waited over an hour for our starter. We were placed at a table right by the exit, the toilet and the cloakroom, which meant that we were actually sitting in the cloakroom and had no view of the restaurant itself. No one asked if we needed water or anything else along the way. After about an hour, we did get extra bread with pesto, but it mostly felt like a last resort because our starter was so late. If you don't have proper seating or the ability to serve so many guests, I don't think you should accept so many reservations. It should have been a nice Christmas lunch with my colleagues, but unfortunately the experience was completely ruined. We will not recommend the place to others and will not come back.

06/12/2025: A truly unforgettable evening in lovely company 6 people, fantastic food and matching wine, great service, everything was perfect 👏👏 We will be back in January - this time 10 people, we are already looking forward to it 😊 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

29/10/2025: Was on a tøzze wellness weekend 5 people at Hvidbjerg beach. We chose at home that we wanted to try breakfast Saturday morning at Højde 4. I ordered and paid inside the Hvidbjerg App. Easy and fast. There was breakfast from 8-10 and we left the campsite at 8 o'clock and it took 15 minutes to walk down there. Lovely cozy little restaurant and it was regularly filled. Lovely ingredients and homemade. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hours. Inside where we sat there was a small fireplace that warmed us nicely. Vivid starin lights in the windows. There is definitely not the last time we try this.

20/10/2025: Great ambiance and a very fine menu. Unfortunately, the dark-blonde waitress with long hair was anything but nice. She was very unfriendly in her communication. A real shame! When I was paying, I felt ignored; she simply left me standing there. I have little sympathy for that, and I haven't experienced anything like it anywhere else in beautiful Blåvand.

15/10/2025: Got this nice schnitzel. Huge portion. Crispy potatoes and the meat was perfect. I'll come here again the next time I'm in Varde. ✌️🤠

06/10/2025: A very pretty, cozy restaurant with good food and friendly, attentive service. I really liked the flowers and candles on every table. And even though it was a Monday and not peak season, it was open!

06/09/2025: Just on the slow side of getting your food and drinks but super nice waiters and the food was top notch.

27/10/2025: Delicious food and a large selection of both delicious sushi, but also other small dishes and starters. There is also cake and dessert on the menu. The service is friendly and professional. The restaurant is new and nice, but the ceilings are very high, which takes away from the atmosphere a bit. The acoustics are excellent.

16/10/2025: Really delicious food and friendly and smiling service. The premises are a bit industrial, but an effort has been made to make them inviting. It is nice and clean.

02/12/2025: Amazing atmosphere, fantastic breakfast! I've been there three times already this year. It's so cool to sit there and soak it all in. The Danes really know how to do it.

08/11/2025: We've been coming to Fanø for over 32 years, and our journey always includes a visit to Stoppestedet! Ownership has changed, renovations have taken place, but the fantastic quality of the food has remained constant throughout! Even though the menu has become smaller over time, it's always worth a visit! 👍 And the soft-serve ice cream is the best on the island! 🤩

06/11/2025: We regularly visit Stoppestedet on vacation and have always been very satisfied – good food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. However, we were a bit disappointed on our last visit. The portion was significantly smaller than the day before, even though the price remained the same. When we politely mentioned this, we were told that it was "luck" that the portion had been larger yesterday. Frankly, we found this disappointing – you don't expect that kind of response when you're a regular customer. A few more fries and a bit more onion would have been enough to make up for the difference – it certainly wouldn't have been much effort, but it would have left us happy. It's a shame, because we generally really enjoy eating here. We hope that next time it will be as good as it used to be – then it will definitely be five stars again.

11/11/2025: Bought the apricot slice and tuna sandwich, yes they have that too, wooow it tasted good, it's not cheap but the taste is really amazing, I'll buy some extra to take home 🙂

22/09/2025: Three of us went there for dinner today. The ambiance was great (retro), and the service was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this standard. Thin fish, consisting of equal parts breadcrumbs and fish, excessive, dry, crispy fried poultry, and an overall bland flavor spoiled our appetite. Overall, unfortunately, not recommended.

01/12/2025: We always come to Blåvand during the first week of December. We always stop by Lise's place for a warming Irish coffee, or a cappuccino. Our friends' dog was also given a very warm welcome and was given water and treats. We'll be back.

18/10/2025: Great pub! Very well run, it has 80 different international beers...Lise is happy to guide anyone through a tasting evening. Just ask. I'd love to come back!! You can get food from the pizzeria next door and eat it in the pub.
