08/07/2025: An authentic dining experience with superb service. From the moment you enter Providence, you can feel the authentic atmosphere and the service in a class of its own. Even when ordering by phone – we ordered two days in a row – we met a welcoming staff who were incredibly flexible and attentive to our needs, including coordinating with golf times. You can clearly feel that Providence places importance on trained staff. Both waiters and other employees have complete control over the menu and provide uninterrupted and professional service. There are no interruptions; everything runs smoothly, which contributes to an extremely pleasant dining experience. The food is a chapter in itself. Here it is clear that they work with fresh ingredients and preparation "the good old way". We enjoyed dishes where no butter was spared – a clear sign that they do not fiddle with the old, tried and tested recipes. The result is tasty and solid food that sends thoughts back to a time when quality and taste were paramount. Providence is a place where you can expect a complete experience with excellent service and honest, well-prepared food. A highly recommended place for anyone who appreciates quality and authenticity.

20/06/2025: We ate there for the first time and were very satisfied. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The food was brought to our table quickly and was both delicious and generous, leaving you feeling very full. The desserts on offer are also delicious. This café and restaurant is highly recommended; there's also a lovely outdoor area with a view of the Flensburg Fjord. The prices are also perfectly reasonable by Danish standards. There were plenty of free tables available during our visit, but you can also reserve tables in advance. So if you're in the area, you should plan a visit.

30/06/2025: EXCELLENT!!! Fabulous local, seasonal food. Wonderful wine list - we took the recommended glass per course which was very good. Lovely, lovely staff. Totally recommended.

03/08/2025: Just excellent. We went here two days in a row, first during the busy lunch service, and then between lunch and dinner services. Tried samosa chaat and then the social dining platter. Everything has been fantastic. The open kitchen means you can observe the cooking. The built-in tandoor makes the most tender chicken I had. Everything was very well-seasoned. Chutneys are quite flavourful. Overall, indeed a gem in Vejle. We will be regulars. P.S. If only you also made dosas :)

05/08/2025: Beautiful old venue with exposed timbers and stone floor. Centrally located too with plenty of eating options within walking distance.

04/07/2025: The coziest jazz concerts on Fridays and cool rock/metal concerts several times a year. Reasonable prices for both entrance and bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Optional cloakroom, access to smoking outdoors during concerts and nice toilets.

06/07/2025: I would like to inform you that you should probably not order ribeye at a fish restaurant that we visited on 4.7.25 at 7:00 p.m. The ribeye was truly the worst thing my husband and I have ever tasted, there was almost no meat in my ribeye that was edible, of course there is something that needs to be cut off on a ribeye, but on mine the meat was filled with a flabby mass and membrane that was completely inedible. Truly disgusting. The potato timbale was also nothing to write home about. I pointed out to the waiter that the meat was of very poor quality, which she did not agree with me, and said she could not help, I did not expect that either. Today I ran to the toilet with a total bad feeling in my stomach. Damn! Worst birthday dinner to date. A truly terrible experience for me and my husband. My grandson got plaice and my daughter got half a lobster, which was as it should be. 6.7.25 I really don't want to bother with the bad food experience anymore, and I don't think that's an answer that suits you. I'm just telling you about my experience, so you have to take the criticism yourself - or as you apparently DON'T. I just want to tell others that if others experience it, they are not alone.🙄

05/07/2025: Our absolute first choice and go-to place to eat when we have something to celebrate or "just" want to treat ourselves. The only place in Kolding (besides Hotel Koldingfjord, which is also highly recommended, by the way) where there are trained waiters - and you can feel it! The experience is just so much better, EVERYTHING is in order, the food is fantastic and there is simply nothing to complain about at all! Add to that a really nice and very varied wine list. Admiralen in Kolding is highly recommended!

21/08/2025: We stopped to have diner during our trip through Denmark and we had a lovely meal in this authentic Italian restaurant. Delicious good and very friendly staff. Don’t hesitate to stop here 🍕🍝

20/08/2025: Uopmærksom uhøflig mandlig tjener, som vi måtte løbe efter for at få bestilt. Pizzaerne og øllerne til gengæld gode, men serveret uden gafler eller servietter, ingen drikkepenge her. Flere forlod restauranten pga de ikke kunne få afgivet en bestilling. Synd, for god beliggenhed overfor musikteatret. Husk at der skal arbejdes for popularitet, folk kommer ikke bare ukritiske i en lind strøm !
