26/04/2025: Had heard about the excellent cuisine, so invited some friends along. When we entered we were a little surprised by how *familial" and grandma-like the decor was, but it fits the restaurant's name well. We all 3 ordered sirloin stew and we can definitely recommend it. Everything is made from scratch and there is plenty of food and it tasted great. Since it is made from scratch, a bit of a wait can be expected, but again, it is worth the time. We will return.

18/05/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this Greek restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish full of authentic flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. We were especially grateful that they allowed us to bring our small dog inside. We had a lovely chat with the owner while enjoying our meal, and he even treated our kids to ice cream. A truly hospitable place with great food and great people. Highly recommended!

11/03/2025: fantastic little cozy restaurant. Owner and waiter are the same person, and he delivered top-class service spiced with a little humor and great passion for delicious food. Fantastically skilled chef. Can be highly recommended. The place exudes history, and it is covered with white tablecloths, candles and the only thing missing was fire in the fireplace (there was no fireplace).

23/04/2025: Really great bakery, we bought a few baguettes and brown bread and a rum ball on the way through. Very friendly service, the baguettes were a hit, did you like the rum ball? You have to ask my wife, I didn't get anything!!!

13/04/2025: I can only recommend this address. The food is super tasty, the quality is top and the waiter or maybe the boss who served us is a very warm person who has his heart in the right place. Many greetings from Taverna, Crete in Flensburg 👍👍👍👍

14/04/2025: Super nice staff. Was greeted with a smile and a twinkle in the eye. Really good cappuccino. One of the absolute tastiest brownies I've had in many years. The snack was so delicious. In Zealand it is often "just" brown sugar. Can really be recommended. Please Danielle

10/05/2025: Classic sports bar with a nice sports atmosphere and the classic draft beers. Good when you have to watch a game with a bunch of friends. However, it is a somewhat younger target group than the undersigned, who fill the chairs 18-20 years old. So I moved on

12/05/2025: We were just looking for a coffee and quick bite to eat and where absolutely blown away by the warmth of the staff and the quality of the food. It was totally fine to bring our dog, there's an extra conservatory with heating, which was turned on for us. The dog was even catered with fresh water and treats. The staff was very attentive, without being intrusive. Extremely calm, friendly and welcoming. We each had a slice of cake (the Gammeldags æblekage was amazing! No dough, only apple, nuts and cream). Coffee and hot cocoa were great and the beer recommendations were on point! It felt more like having coffee at an old friend's house and we just loved everything about this place and hope to be back soon. Best wishes from Germany and keep up the great work! :)

22/04/2025: Super nice owner and kitchen staff. Got a chicken sandwich on the way. Delicious bread perfectly toasted crisp without tearing up the palate. Delicious juicy chicken and a good hot dressing without overpowering the chicken. Definitely need to revisit.
