21/07/2025: We ordered 3 different pasta dishes. All of which tasted and looked like they were heated in an oven. The pastas were of different temperatures and the dish had a dry surface. The dishes had a burnt taste.

18/07/2025: Delicious burgers, big pizzas, the right pepperoni on top of the pizza instead of salami - that's important. The children's bambino pizza is really big! Hot chocolate is a quality drink within a minute, if only they would add whipped cream, but it was OK.

16/04/2025: Lovely crispy wholemeal bread, very delicious rye bread. Both parts were sliced, light and straightforward. Quality and price go well together.

06/08/2025: Even though the name suggests a snack bar, this is a really good Italian restaurant. The pizza and pasta were very good. Service was friendly and fast. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it.

21/07/2025: Super nice terrace, indoor playground for children (great!!!), delicious food.

29/08/2025: Restaurant Marinen in Kolding, which is beautifully located right next to the southern marina, must of course also have tested their shooting stars. Maybe this is where we will find a top-quality shooting star. We arrived at 7:30 PM and ordered 5 minutes later. The food was served 15 minutes later, which is quite fast. I always base my decision on what is on the menu. Do they live up to what they write and how is the quality otherwise? First impression of the service is a mixed experience. The fried fish is fried in a deep fryer and has been overdone. The breading on the edge was hard and reminded more of pork belly than a fish fillet. I agree that they did not promise that it was fried in butter in a pan, but this can certainly be done better. The steaming fish fillet, which was under the fried one, was still warm and tasted good. At the very bottom I found 1.5 slices of wheat bread. Nothing special but ok. For the first time, in all the shooting stars that I have tested, I experienced something new. The bread was buttered on one side and toasted on the other. I prefer to toast that side with butter. The combination of shrimp and crayfish was quite nice. Crayfish gives a little extra flavor experience. The same can be said about the hot smoked salmon. The dressing was supposed to be a thousand island, but it didn't taste quite like one, more like a homemade variant that is between thousand island and a shellfish dressing. It tasted really good and there should have been a little more of it. Maybe in a small bowl on the side. Super nice that roe is used as a garnish, as it also gives a good flavor to the dish. I often come across the tasteless version made of seaweed. I can say the same about the fresh green asparagus that you use. It seemed as if it was blanched. Good thing you don't use the white ones from a can. The greens were fresh and in the right amount. I come up with an overall rating of 3.5/5. A little more love and butter frying would have pulled it up to 4/5, especially when you remember that it costs 245.

23/08/2025: Had fish and chips. A nicely balanced dish. Delicious tartar sauce Good view of the harbor. The only downside was the noise from a party that had to entertain a baby for the entire restaurant. A larger party that might have been better placed in one of the other adjacent rooms. So unfortunately it drags down the atmosphere a bit.

15/08/2025: Fantastic gastronomic gourmet experience Do you need to know about food when you go out to eat here? No, they have it completely under control for you. Everything is made to order, you feel seen and welcomed by the staff. Wine and food taste great together, you can taste and see that every detail has been thought of 🌸 Would recommend Aagaard Kro at any time, whether it's á la carte or the gourmet menu In my pictures you can see from my visit both for the gourmet menu and from a party I was at.

07/08/2025: Delicious soft ice cream, wieners with spicy mustard and beer. Unfortunately they only spoke German and no Danish, but they were super nice. If you are passing through, this is a good place to grab something quick.

25/07/2025: You should not shop or put your money here. Forget it. Big warning to others. They speak German mostly, even though we are in Denmark after all. They also scold customers and call us rude if you don't understand them. The staff argue among themselves in front of the customers and we ourselves were teased and called rude words, even though we did nothing, but just stood and waited for the food that we were mistakenly given, even though it was actually for another customer. Clearly not our fault, but it was. So please don't support this business. They don't deserve it.

21/08/2025: Expensive Expensive was delivered by a young person who knocked over my cakes several times in my cake box and smeared the entire box with cake cream...😩😩😩

02/08/2025: I visited the place to go to the cinema, had a really good cappuccino in the café beforehand. The film was really good, but the cinema is worn out to the point of embarrassment, on the second floor where we sat, the seat covers are worn out in several places so much that a large part of the foam rubber is visible, on top of that they smell so bad of old dirt, a pretty disgusting experience. It really needs a renovation. 3 stars for the good coffee.

08/08/2025: A very cozy pub, unfortunately we only discovered it the night before last. But a great selection of drinks, very friendly staff, and excellent service. Lise is a kind-hearted hostess who also engages with her guests and has nice things to say :-) Special mention goes to the friendly waiter, Theo. He has a wonderful, authentic and warm charisma that rubs off on every guest! All in all, a great location and everything is perfect. Thank you very much and hope to see you soon, Hannes and Marius from Berlin :-)
