15/08/2026: Lovely experience and great food. After we had stopped by to see a troll, we dropped by the hotel. I had a tasty hunter's pan, and the wife had nachos. Delicious food, generous portions, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere – definitely worth a visit.

23/09/2026: I ordered 5 large pizzas and a kids pizza for my birthday, where I had my family visiting 🍕❤️ And I have to say that it was a really good choice! The pizzas were fresh, hot and really delicious, and there was plenty of food for both children and adults. Everyone was happy and full. It really means a lot when you celebrate a birthday that the food just plays – and this one did! 😍 Thank you for the delicious food and good service. We will definitely order from here again next time 🍕❤️

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

06/09/2026: We had a wonderful evening here, enjoying delicious pizza with four people. The prices are perfectly reasonable, and the whole atmosphere perfectly complements the holiday mood. The pizzas were a real highlight—incredibly delicious and generously sized, and the price was absolutely fair and justified. Minor complaints: The knives were so dull that it was difficult, if not impossible, to cut the pizza. This definitely needs improvement. We also had to wait a bit longer than expected for our food, but this was compensated with a small complimentary dessert. Conclusion: You absolutely MUST try the pizza here; it's really worth it, and we will definitely be back.

17/09/2026: Absolutely amazing! Fantastic food, very beautifully arranged too. Love the style of the place, as well - old faïences all over, just gorgeous.

03/09/2026: The apple pie was a disappointment, as it was still frozen. There were no napkins, and no one even asked if we liked it. The coffee was very strong; whether you like that or not is certainly a matter of taste.

31/08/2026: Great coffee, the cutest salon in town, wonderful espresso martini and really nice snacks. They have really sophisticated coffee cups and dishes, and the owner is super super friendly. A must in Fanø. Don’t miss it, you’ll regret it!

16/08/2026: We were stopping by in Denmark a night on our way to Sweden and decided to eat at Papa. Best decision ever. The food is really delicious and waiters are nice. It was like eating home while on vacation. I had lasagne and my husband had saltimbocca, both dishes were tasteful and perfectly cooked. Many reviews mention that you have to pay for water but this is common at restaurants in Italy so I guess that is why they charge for it. Anyway the water tasted fresh and not metallic so it didn't seem to be common tap water. Finally, I recommend Papa if you want real food and you happen to be or travel in this area.
