13/10/2025: We were a small group and wanted to grab some dinner at short notice. We found this restaurant and were able to get a table right away. I had the fillet burger, which was simply amazing. I highly recommend both the restaurant and the burger.

03/10/2025: Super delicious experience! We had a delicious 3 course menu with wine and side dishes. It tasted excellent, from starter to dessert. The owner came out and presented the wines and the staff provided a really good service. We would like to thank Kristian & Co. for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back!

18/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went to the pork of choice at Båring Skov gl. Badehotel – and what an experience! 🌳✨ The staff were so nice that you almost wanted to adopt them 😄. The service was top notch, and the food… yes, it was so delicious that I'm still full for days afterwards 🐷🍴. If you can vote for pork, then Badehotellet gets my vote every time! 🗳️🥓 Thank you for an evening of both coziness, smiles and taste buds in ecstasy 🤩👏.

14/01/2026: We went there in a nice sunny Saturday and there was an amazing atmosphere! It was very lively and the most filled restaurant there. The food was very good and the service was nice as well! The portion sizes were large and for me that is a good thing 😊 the drinks were also quite nice. Would definitely visit next time I’m in Esbjerg.

23/11/2025: A stunning campsite at a very fair price. You reach the island by a small ferry, which runs frequently even outside of peak season and is inexpensive. The site is spotlessly clean and modern, the bathrooms are brand new, heated, and in excellent condition. Check-in and check-out are easy and flexible! We'll definitely be back in the summer!

18/10/2025: Cozy little cafe with a nice atmosphere. The girls behind the counter were nice, and the food tasted great, and there was plenty of it. We couldn't finish it, and one of the girls asked if we wanted it in a bag to take home. We didn't want it, but it was nice of her to ask. The prices were completely fair. Healthy place, with the opportunity to try something new. Thank you.

10/10/2025: In the middle of the coffee shop, you can get it. Morgenmaden was fantastic, very light, and there was a lot of forskellige muligheder. Fra croissant and bread with yoghurt and pandekager, æg and smørbart, nødder and frugt. Betjeningen was super cheap. And you can see the angels, Dansk and Tysk, he communicates with the problem. 20/10/2025: Delicious crisped hot dog and delicious soft serve ice cream! The setting is in front of the beach and next to the castle. Wonderful! Public restrooms are nearby.

23/11/2025: Atmosphere, atmosphere not found in many other pubs/restaurants. Guldkronen has a fantastic staff. A place to be experienced and enjoyed.

24/10/2025: The food is clearly the worst part of the experience. Not that it was bad food, but it is miles away from restaurant food. It is the quick and boring solutions with vegetables from the freezer, cheap and indifferent meat and dressing, sauce etc. from a bucket. But you can't expect more at those prices. It costs the same for a meal here as a standard pizza from the local pizza place. There were many guests, so the price etc. hits the clientele really well.

11/10/2025: I had a pork roast burger, which I must say is one of the best I've had. Juicy and tender meat with crispy skin. Perfect size and not overly saucy. Definitely one I'll have again.

02/10/2025: Amazing spot, the food was so good & very worth it for the price. Was a bit worried as the menu is only in Danish, but the staff member there was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Definitely swing by if you happen to be in town visiting Lego House
